Hi all

What a week. One days notice for interview and then two days later Visa is in my hand. It is over. Thank you Sydney.

Words cannot express my thanks to all my Visa Journey friends. You have all been amazing. Whilst I may be finished with it all my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Let's not get complacent just because I am done. A few weeks ago I was in your position.

Thank you dwheels for your constant support and advice - you truly are an amazing individual.

I will check back here to see how you are all going but for the next few days I need to concentrate on the million and one things I need to do to get myself, two children and two dogs ready to leave Australia in 13 days. Couldn't risk anything happening to the boys, a Elvis and Casper so we are using a professional animal transportation firm. The kids and I - well we can just rough it!!

Dwheels can you change my interview date it was to be on Dec 1 but they had problems and Embassy was closed so now we have a new date of Dec 16 ..

Lucky you...no one got earlier date for isl, all are after 15 Dec. Mine is 23 Dec, the last in that month I think. Anyway best of luck to your hubby

Now I need the tears of happiness to stop. I have no idea how this transpired. Perhaps it was due to mine and my husband's phone calls to NVC and the Supervisor's this week. I guess it shows that it can pay off to persevere.

Our only hope now is that all of our VJ friends also get a CC soon and can be back with their loved ones as soon as possible.

conratulations! my scan date was also aug 28th, and CC on oct 23rd....however, my AOS hasnt changed to N/A....where can I check this? (maybe I'm looking in the wrong place)? Let us know when you find out about your interview date....mine will be in London and I am hoping I'll have a date for early Dec

for some people it dont change for some reason. go and check it on the page ceac site you will see NA and then NA under AOS

CC email today at 7:30 am AOS changed to NA on OCT 23 scan DATE WAS AUG 28

Hi peeps I am still in here as well.. I got a false email last week and then a snail mail letter saying we changed email address and we did not.. I have called just cant deal with the long wait time and the one night I was hung up on.. How rude.! right.. has any one else received false snail mail as well???? I have been sick from summer on with a sinus infection and I am wore out grrr Gotta love the stress fro them Good luck to all..

Hey all, after 6 long nightmarish months stuck at NVC, we finally got CC on 8/20??. Hopefully it won't take too long to schedule our interview, I know our embassy is very high volume, hoping to hear the good news in the next few days!. Thanks everyone for the support... Good luck to all.

I hope not and will be praying you squeeze through just in time. but if not shortly after. Mine is a ####### shoot the worst part for those waiting for interview at the Cairo Embassy is the wait for the interview then the interview itself. We just can't win. What can you do.

I had to resend I864 for a box I did not click .. stupid stuff..

I called them it's not I wish it was. They got me for 3 things it should of only been one but you can't tell them I made 2 calls on this matter

It's must be let's get everyone for 13 a ugh. I got it as well and I know I did fill it in they doing this to delay us

I got a checklist today on the AOS one day over 30 bissness days not very happy grrrrrrrr they said I have to redo 864 was done the same way as co sponcer and trying to read on this iPod Grrr laptop still not fixed.

60 day letter came grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ugghhh... yes we are in the same boat since 2/6/14, 2 checklists!!? hopefully this will be our last month in this madness called NVC... 30 days are also killing us ? Good luck and keeping fingers crossed
