hello plz reply me, did beneficiary or petitioner received any instruction letter through postal mail after NVC number assigned. plz tell me how long did it take to arrive if they sent you one after assigning you case number.

My husband received everything by mail on March 18, and than we started, send both addresses, so now we both receive everything.

I received letter by mail, directly from NVC I think around April 10 with the same instruction, that we already have it.

  2. I filed on April 12th and I'm still waiting. I can see that the IRS has it, but I have not received my refund yet, nor is my transcript available. Was yours filed electronically or manually? If Manually, it's usually not ready until June.

    Sukie

Manually, my husband was there yesterday and they don't have a clue when... it will be, in meantime I'll finish my stuff.

    thanx

  3. Dear friend, sorry I've been in Brussels for 3 weeks. What I got today is a yellow triangle instead of lock sign. I was waiting for 32 business day till now for IV fee, calling every other day. So I hope it's a good sign and I can pay this fee during the day

Hi, we finally paid yesterday, but received another check list... i spoke with Alex or Alexis in Tuesday, so she was more than kind checked with supervisor, and yesterday, Friday, we received bill, able to pay, and also this check list. So keep calling someone will help you, they're just backlogged with cases.

  4. Need to submit 2013 income tax return and indicate 2013 as the most recent year on the form, with the corresponding income amount listed on the tax return.

    Dear Sir/Madam:
You have been registered as agent for the immigrant visa petition of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
The Immigrant Visa Processing Fee for each applicant indicated on the enclosed fee bill invoice(s) must be paid
before petition processing can continue. An invoice for each eligible applicant is enclosed.
IMPORTANT: On April 13, 2012 the Department of State reduced the immigrant
visa application processing service fee amount for all immigrant visa petition types.
Please remit payment using this immigrant visa application processing fee bill
invoice which contains the new, reduce fee amount.
    Payment Instructions:
    1. Do not send fee payments to the National Visa Center's Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility. This
will delay processing of the visa petition.
    2. Go to our website immigrantvisas.state.gov and follow the instructions displayed.
    Important Notes:
    1. If you did not receive a fee bill for any applicant who should be listed on this case, do not send a fee
payment for the applicant. Instead, contact the NVC.
    2. If a period of one year passes without communication to the NVC, all documents and fees expire and
must be resubmitted to resume the immigration process.
    3. If the applicant intends to adjust status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS),
please contact the NVC before taking further action or making any payments.
    4. Children who pass 21 years of age after the petition was originally approved by the USCIS become
ineligible to accompany or join the applicant(s) immigrating to the United States under the original
petition. In some situations, the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) may allow children to remain
eligible beyond 21 years of age. If you believe that the CSPA applies to this case, please send a
detailed explanation to the NVC. We will forward it to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate for a decision.
    Sincerely,
  7. Thank you Stacey (F) I'm with you, waiting on line to get my interview date scheduled. Hopefully we'll hear something next week

Omg I'm so sorry this is taken so long for you. Have you tried to talk to a Supervisor?. It seems like they really want you to wait the full 30 business days!! That's so unfair, I waited 23 calendar days after submitting the DS-261, it was a really long wait compared to most timelines here, but yours is so unacceptable. Call and talk to a supervisor!

There is another user waiting since March 19, I think from Russia. I'll call next week, what if i call they will tell me there is still not 30 business days :)))

    And Congrats!

  8. They did not give the standard "30 days" . You have been waiting too long it would seem. She seemed sure it was something that had happened to them in the past few days. I would think they should have allowed you to pay some time ago. Maybe it would be a good idea for you to print the invoice and mail it in. If nothing happens by Monday, I'll kiss another $20 goodbye doing just that with overnight priority.

The thing is that we still didn't receive the IV fee invoice... and when I'm explaining on the phone about the yellow triangle, i get the same answer, yes i can see but you must wait for you IV fee invoice mail and wait 30 BD, madnesssss

  9. I called back and spoke with Gina. Very nice! She says it is not a browser issue, but an issue on their end. So everyone who has received notice via email in the past 3-4 days...it is a problem on their end. Gina says a) mail the payment in b) maybe the system will be repaired by the end of the day or tomorrow!

Hi, did you receive that famous IV fee mail, because i submitted the DS261 form on march 24, IV fee unlocked since march 25, called many times, and all i get was wait 30 business days, lately it will be any day soon...

    thanx

  10. Yep, it is dumb. I guess they figure if you can't complete each step then you aren't actually in the queue. One baby step at a time.... I swear they should do the USCIS and the NVC step all in one. What is the point of having 2 separate centers?

Our point exactly. When we received check list for AOS form that my husband send it for sure, I asked why they can't take in consideration the one that he send it in February in USCIS. Oh that's different process we need new one... Ok, so than please don't lost the documents!

  11. Okay so here's a pretty weird, random and bordering-on-stupid question. Do you think I could be added to my husband's insurance now even before I'm in the USA? Here's the reason. We really wanna get pregnant as soon as I get there and we're hoping to get a head start on any waiting periods the insurance has before they cover maternity. It's usually a 6 to 9 month wait before the insurance kicks in, so if he adds me in now in May and I get there in August or September, we save about 4-5 months and then have to wait less time before actually getting pregnant. Does that make sense? Anyone?

My husband added me on his life and health insurance also last February, I live abroad.

  12. AOS Check-listed yesterday April 22 :crying:

AOS Package was sent on 4/3, received on 4/4 and entered into NVC system on 4/8, so exactly 14 days (2 weeks) before it got reviewed.

Similar thing happened to us, received March 21, check list April 7, around 2-3 weeks, they lost our new AOS form, and I was checking, there is a change in AOS form from last year for I-864Z about dates in right up corner, and down right corner. My husband send the form also in February, I called but they didn't accepted, and told us to send new one. My advice download new one, and fill it and follow the instructions how to fill it.

  13. Her case was unusual.. She started to pursue the K3. She did her medical and filled out the DS160 and was ready to go and then they closed the K3 and just shipped her I-130 to the embassy. I am assuming because it was their mistake they just decided to finish the process at the embassy. She will still have to pay at the embassy.

You can't go by her case.... She was one of the lucky ones !!

    Yes, really lucky one!

    We feel so stacked

  14. Aw, many congratulations!! Yes, it was only when I got my interview date that I began to feel a little scared of what lies ahead. It's a whole new life, leaving behind family and friends and your everyday routine. It's all a little overwhelming. Right now I'm feeling emotionally exhausted, I've allowed myself to really relax, mentally, for the first time in months. Delighted you've got a May interview. You were the very first VJ'er I saw when I joined Visa Journey. The very best of luck in your new life. X

Hi NoelAnne how did you managed to fill DS260 without IV fee, and how is I-130 send so fast in Embassy, can you give me some hints? Is that possible after AOS package to send the I-130 in Embassy?
