Are you going for the K3?

I really hope my K3 makes also to the embassy as it seems I have a long way to wait for the IR1.

Yes, yes, today we wrote e-mail to Embassy and explain them our situation that we're in the middle of CR-1 processing, and that we want continue with K3, so I'm waiting for response.

I received letter today with instruction what to bring and to scheduled my medical.

So I got an email from NVC that I have been registered as an agent for the applicant which I am assuming is acceptance of DS261 and it also says that I should pay the IV fees for further processing....... well the only problem is that the portal is showing that yellow triangle but I can't pay the fees as there is nothing to pay for IV. I was really hoping to pay the IV fees today. Anyone else having the same issue?

me i have yellow triangle since day before yesterday, and in the middle of cr-1, today i received a letter from embassy that my interview for K3 is scheduled for April 17.

I wrote them an e-mail, we paid only first fee for AOS which is 88 dollars, so I'm waiting now for the response from them. It's good that i still didn't submit DS 260, so there is a chance I can send now DS-160

Saylin I have one question for you… I’m in doubt with days…or anyone that have suggestion

About birth and marriage certificates… We submitted in USCIS international ones and receive RFE that document are not translated… It was misunderstanding my husband resolve that with USCIS in Chicago and they were accepted in Texas. The documents are according Hug convention.

I have new ones because according low in my country they mustn't be older than 6 months.

I want to send international ones because we applied in USCIS with international, but also I want to send on native language with translation because of the previous bed experience.

I’m in doubt now should I send international ones, or on native language with translations or both variants? What you think? and in cover letter to shortly explain that.

How long did it take you to receive the ITIN? I also mailed an ITIN application about 2 weeks ago for my wife

My husband send it I think March 1, we received yesterday, so around 3 weeks.

Saylin i hav a doubt regarding tax transcript!! We got married in 2013 n now we aleready got the irs for 2013 n in tat the status is single. U mentioned in the nvc process that its a problem in interview. My question is with this tax transcript is it a problem in nvc??

Since your NOA2 was on March 17th, i think you have enough time to amend 2013 tax return and file a new one by the time you have to submit AOS. Also, NVC is too picky, so why taking risk?

I agree with Jam 13. We filled MFJ, I went to Embassy to get certified copy of passport biographic data page and together with signed W7 i send it to my husband.

In Friday he received beck the certified copy from IRS, and now they're processing the TAX. In mean time in our AOS package we included tax return from 2010, 2011, 2012, and for 2013 because it was still not ready he put the W7 and 1040a as evidence that we submitted. Till the interview, or if NVC ask for 2013 tax return we'll have it.

For anyone doing the K-3 ... On your approval hardcopy.... was there an expiration date? Ours has a timeframe of March 18-July 17 2014. Is that normal?

Yes, i see what you're saying. As you've already paid the AOS fee and things seem to be moving along, you should stay on this path, the 130, if its only going to save a month. But if you go ahead with the 129, go for your medical, pay the fee of $240, you will get no refund from NVC for the money youv'e already spent on fees for the 130. What we're doing is to go with the 129 in the hope that I will get an interview before the end of April. When I get my medical next week and they send the report to the Embassy they can then schedule the interview, hopefully within 4 weeks. I know the cost may not be an issue for you, but I can't see the point of throwing it away. Obviously if going the 129 route will save you, say 2 months, go with it. Look at your embassy processing times for the 129, you may get an idea of how long it will take. It's all a balancing act.

Thanks The reason we started with CR-1 is because we didn't hear from the Embassy that they received the case. So just wait and do nothing was unacceptable. And I don't know nobody here that already pursue K3 visa. But from other people with different visas as I understand you can't go on a medical on your own, the Embassy panel physician will ask you when is your interview to appoint your examination. I'll inform you how the thing are moving.

Guys I'm confused... What are you sending in your package IV? Just basic:

· Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal

· 2 Photographs

· Passport Biographic Data Page

· Original Birth Certificate with translation

· Original Marriage Certificate with translation

· Original Marriage Certificate from the Macedonian Orthodox Church

· Original Police Certificate with translation

· Original Court Certificate with translation

· Photocopy of all above mentioned

Or you putting evidence too? I mean if I start to translate them... also mails, viber messages, they are almost all on Macedonian, i was really hope that I will take them with me on the interview

No, but it's a waste of money. If you're going with the 129 you will have to pay the $240 fee. You shouldn't have started to pay the fees until you're sure you're not going with the 129.

You can't do both but if you go K-3 the I-130 sits at the NVC for a year. So if the K3 fails you still have the I130. Just pay the fees

When you say fees, you mean CR-1 fees? Because we thought to go with CR-1 until we hear news from Embassy. So, is there possibility to pay fees for CR-1 send documents what we already done with AOS... and when Embassy call me to get I-129F and to finish the process there, and if the time difference is a month, just to wait for CR-1. I hope you understand my question ))

On March 4 my husband received post mail from NVC that our I129F for wife is shipped to Embassy in Skopje, since than we're waiting from them to call me, but in mean time we received mail from NVC with case number, IIN, beneficiary ID, so we started with CR 1. When they call me I will ask them what to do next.

What!!! Just got an email from NVC. AOS bill ready to pay and fill in DS 261. Was told yesterday this will take 2 weeks, just got IIN yesterday too! LoveMyTico, what do you think? Confused.com.

Same thing happened to us. So we started with CR-1, because we didn't want to waste time any more, but we still did't hear anything from Embassy. As I can see you have medical scheduled )) I don't know call the Embassy and ask, I don't know

I would not say yes because you were officially NOT refused a visa. You did not even reach the visa stage. The petition was denied NOT the visa.

So just say No and relax.

Ok so I've paid the AOS fee and am waiting for it to be displayed as 'Paid' in the portal, meanwhile I wanted to prepare for my Immigrant visa packet and wondered if I should fill in DS-230 or do the online DS-260.

The AOS fee receipt I got says that only the case numbers beginning with AMM, ATH, BGH, LMA, MEP, or MTL are eligible for filling in the DS-260 online the rest of the folks need to send it the filled DS-230 by post. Its confusing because my local consulate (Mumbai, India) website advises folks to fill DS-260 for immigrant visas and the AOS fee receipt says something different.

Guys pls advise.

We received e-mail from TSC when our case was shipped to NVC, and also we received e-mail when NVC receive it. It took around a month.

Our K3 is sent to Embassy in Skopje, but they still didn't call me. In mean time we received mail with Case number and IIN, so we also started with CR-1.

We just going as things are happening.

Hope this info is useful to you and congrats on your approval. We also waited long, almost 11 months.
