  1. We were asked for chat history during the interview. We submitted screenshots dating from when we first met, and then 6 month after that, and 6 months after that until we covered all the two years. we submitted 160 pages of screenshots, each page had 6 pictures of iphone pro max screenshots of chat. i hope this helps
  2. Our experience: after 16 months under AP after CR1 interview, status was changed to IR1 when they (Casablanca US consulate) called to ask for an updated medical. visa was issued two weeks after they received the medical. Good luck
  3. SSN card received in the mail one week after POE. The process is working. Now only waiting for the Green Card: status still shows "Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received".
  4. It should be anytime now. is there any courier service in the process? you can also track the passport through ustraveldocs.com
  5. Changing consulates is not a given: the interviewee must have legal residency in the country of interview. my thoughts to you is to just wait it out and prepare for the interview as much as possible. I know the wait game is tough, but it is easier than complicating the case with unneeded changes. My wife was on AP for 16 months after the interview, and we just got her visa last month. Just be patient and wait it out. You are almost there.
  6. Congratulations. We had the same thing happen to us last September: The consulate in Casablanca called my wife asking for a new medical. The medical was completed on 21-Sep. Visa was issues two weeks later on 04-Oct. But again, all cases are different.
  7. There will be. most likely, no questions asked if enters the US before one year of his departure. But this will create a gap in his stay in the US if he plans to apply for Naturalization with 3 years
  8. The answer is very simple: we asked an immigration officer to update the address at POE. The address was updated in the system right away. No forms needed.
  9. POE at JFK airport, NY about two hrs ago. Everything went perfect. Change of Address was handled by immigration officers at the immigration office, not even 10 minutes wait time. This update marks the end of the I-130 / CR1 turned IR1 journey. Thank you VJ for all the support and advice.
  10. Passport with visa picked up Monday 16-October (available for pickup as of 13-October). it took 10 calendar days for passport to be ready for pickup after visa was issued. no envelope with documents with passport. All docs are sent online. Only DV lottery visa have that envelope with their visa. planed POE at JFK, NY on 28-October.
  11. Good afternoon, all, My wife's visa has been issued this morning, after an AP of 16 months. My question is the following: how do we proceed about changing the address as I just moved to a different state? is it sufficient to just hand a signed memo/letter to CBP at POE? Thank you all for your help and support.
  12. Ok, after several congressional inquiries and hundreds of unanswered emails, the US consulate in Casablanca called my wife over the phone and asked her to return for a second interview next week. They asked if visited her after the initial interview, she said yes. They asked if I was still there, she said no, he is back in the US. They asked her to bring any pictures we took together to the 2nd interview next week. They kept her passport since the initial interview in May 2022. We hope this journey ends with a happy ending, and we get reunited soon. What should we expect? Any advise is much appreciated
