Not sure what you mean by "get stamped off clearing him of leaving the country by the Egyptian Military." Is that something over and above the examination of his passport by Egyptian Immigration as he leaves?

Me and my husband have the same problem because embassy kept our translated copy even tho they say they didn't what I am having a problem with is changing my last name on social security they won't do it say I have to petition courts to recognize our marriage in state of California it's a crock of bull makes me so mad still haven't got my name change yet good luck

Administrative processing sometimes can take months even years

Goodluck we were approved for expedite for medical reasons last year It took a few days for them to approve and got interview about 5 weeks later had his visa in hand about 4 days after interview...thank god no ap...again Goodluck

They will contact u within a few days..it was about 5 for my husband..good luck

hey guys my husbands interview went well he said consul was a lil rude but in his words he finally surrender and say congratulations she will take your visa wooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooo so glad this over and we can finally breathe a little bit..now its time to have a baby soon i want to thank everyone who helped me gave me advice and with out visajourney i dont think i would have got through this so smoothly..good luck friends

thanks very much for your prayers friends it is much appreciated i just a lil anxious wish this interview was over and at least i know if he will be here for the birth of our child but i feel like god has been watching over us this whole time every since we met his name is not to common so pray he just flys thru the interview and right home to me where he belongs

i wouldnt chance it if i was you..dont you have any friends or family members that would help you. using your ex husband is such a bad idea sorry but thats my opinion good luck tho

hi our interview is coming up soon and i am also due to give birth shortly after..we were expedited and im just wondering has anyone been put in ap after a expedited interview? and if so how long did it last..im praying my husband doesnt get put in that awful mess he has never been in trouble before served in the military and went to college and got his bachlors degree in mechanical engineering. thank you for reading my post and good luck everyone.

our expedite is for medical issues i have and also i am pregnant..they denied our first one which i ask for on humanitariun grounds

yes egypt definately needs to do some catching up and be a little nicer in their interviews from what i hear..they definately got me scared lol..good luck everyone

Egypt is so far behind due to the chaos only way to get interview faster is email and ask for expedite..good luck pray it goes faster for everyone

interview scheduled 5-4-2014 7;30 am praying no ap and my hubby gets his visa so fast i am due with our first child on may 30th..good luck everyone

with no expedite you are looking at 5-6 months from what i have read and been told. we are lucky to get our's with expedite due to some medical issues and i am pregnant. there are still some people waiting from dec and jan and i think as far back as august..i hope they get it together but it is all because of what has been going on over there. lol its ok must be craziness to keep us all together haha..thank you for the input thats what i told my husband as well..i look on the consul page and it says something bout k1 filers and them only getting a call and not a letter saying embassy doing thingsdifferently but just making sure we got everything together and yes praying for all the applicants from egypt they are not in a good place right now and i want my husband out of there asap

we have our interview scheduled and yes was expedited they called him a few days ago from embassy and told him May 4th and told him he would only receive call.. hes just worried the lady told him wrong..if he dont have appointment letter what do show at embassy to get in is what he is wondering is it just his identification?

we are waiting for the call on the interview yes it was expedited at uscis level and nvc

i am wondering if anyone can tell me exact fees my husband will need at embassy when he goes for his interview including what to pay dhl for the return of his passport and also how much do you have to pay for the medical exam thanks any help is appreciated
