So you got married in vegas? did he come and visit you on a tourist visa and go home ? i came and got married in egypt because was told it would be easier and faster now i am thinking i did it the wrong way and being here in egypt when i filed also i think wasnt good for me because i had to file at chicago lockbox im thinking if i would have been at home in california maybe i wouldnt have to wait for so so..Phoenix must have their stuff together..Now i am trying to get our petition expedited on humanitariun grounds to hopefully make this process faster. by the way where did your petition go after it went from phoenix i figured mine would go to california since that is where i am from but no it went to the national benefit center

this is the second approval within a month? why are other people waiting so long months and months i dont understand? but congrats to those with approvals.

also a+edarwish what did you say exactly to them about the conditions i am about to ask for mine to be expedited i didnt expect things to be so bad coming to egypt even tho they said not to travel here i couldnt be without my husband...anyways i want to make sure i say the right things to get it approved as in your case..I am in Alexandria with my husband and he is unable to find work here i have to stay inside alot due to the ongoing demonstrations from the muslim brotherhood and i fear for him everytime he goes to his moms house these people have made life unbearable for the citizens of egypt sadly thanks any help is greatly appreciated

i was told today by a page on facebook called uscis processing times that since i already filed i-130 i cant file k-3 but on uscis page it says you can...so confusing has anyone filed it after they have filed i-130 and did it help you...thanks

Anyone waiting on expedites, I really recommend getting your senators or state congressman involved. It is much easier for them to get information from USCIS. I received the notice of approval in 2 weeks. When I had filed just by myself they said it could take over a month.

I don't think your neck and back problems would be enough for an expedite though. They might just tell you, 'Ok then, go back to the US. By yourself.". Know what I mean?

Alex is alot safer than Cairo I know that much right now and yes I knew about the DOS but I couldnt be without my husband any longer I missed him so much and I knew he would make sure I am ok and he has but this staying in the house is getting to me i need to move more than i am being able to and I also have neck and back problems so I really need to be back home asap to see the doctor on a monthly basis. I can only take so much pain I read on uscis the first step is to call NCSC and make a expedite request so i will try to get a hold of them as soon as possible.. I am sure I have to wait until I receive the notification from them that they got my petition only reason I know they do have it is because of fedex tracking Again thanks blueberry pancake and by the way I love your username you are making me hungry lol

Thanks for the info blueberry pancake Its definitely worth a try And on the safe part our flat is on the ninth floor and my husband wont take any risks but I do feel a little like I am in prison when we do go out it is pure chaos most of the time if you dont watch where you go you might get ran over because they have no pedestrians have the right of way laws or pretty much any traffic laws so i pretty much just stay in the flat most of the time... and yes bangirluk hopefully not to long of a wait

Hi i just sent the I-130 out for my husband on 9/11/2013 via Fedex to the Chicago Lock box and they received it yesterday 9/16/2013 we are both here in Alexandria,Egypt and will stay until we finish this crazy process as I cant leave him again I already did once back in March so I hope this goes fast and smooth lol as if right? seems it took forever just to get through this part..It is definitely not easy but will definitely be worth it ...I have heard that us waiting over here our Petition might go a little faster does anyone know if that is true?
