  1. Hi i am wondering if anyone can tell me if i submit my co sponsors i-864 with my own or does she send hers in? Also i am having to leaving Egypt and go back to states because i am pregnant and need to see a doctor do i need to leave my husband anything such as paperwork for his interview when he gets it? Our expedite got approved and just in case his interview does'nt come by dec 5th (that's my flight home) i just want him to be prepared for everything he needs for his interview. Thanks any information is greatly appreciated :)

  2. krispy they send me a email saying it was approved and i went to status update to make sure cuz i was in a little bit of a shock since i havent heard anything at all since i ask for the expedite and yes it said approved :).. i did get a letter back home saying they would review about a week ago my son told me...Ro60106 thank you yes it did have something to do with it i just told them our situation of what was going on here in egypt wrote my senator and congress and this is the outcome within one month :) so it definately helps to write your senators if there is anything they can help you with but your question about if your not asking for expedite i dont know you just have to try if you think they can help...@ blueberry thank you so much :)

  3. To each is their own but i would just like to say if you give up right now you are crazy..I am in Egypt right now with my husband been here for 2 months life is not so easy here we constantly have to be careful due to the violent outbursts from the muslim brotherhood that happens at any given time..there is no work here for my husband they shut the electricity off all the time sometimes for hours. some places have no garbage service so it is just piled up on the streets..I was just like u didnt want to live without him anymore so i came to wait it out with him i dont regret it but it is not easy at all and i want us to be out of here as soon as possible....i am pregnant now so i will be leaving in december to seek medical care for my pregnancy because it is definately not up to standards here..I ask for my case to be expedited on humanitarian grounds wrote my senators and congress they are sending letter on our behalf hoping that it goes through if not we both know that it is better for our future to be in United states because it is gonna take a long time for Egypt to recover from what has happened here..good luck whatever u decide

  4. Thanks jen we are doing ok and we are strong we will get thru this and LOL i was talking bout the person who commented that remark about jumping the line they are from stockton....i havent heard anything yet crossing fingers i will hear something soon :) And thank you for the comment on the pic we take alot of pics when i came to visit my husband the first time we took almost 1000 pics in one month lol i dont think i have ever taken that many pics in such a short amount of time lol..hope everything is going great for you :)

  5. hey jen hey blu how are you two i hope you are hanging in there and trying not to stress as i am trying also lol i dont know how i would submit evidence to them other then send them video i have of the demonstations i have encountered out my window. i just explain my situation and i would hope they watch the news as things have gotten scary again over the weekend and people have lost their lives trying to celebrate its just crazy how a celebration can turn so violent :( and to the person who commented people who request a expedite are jumping the line we are not trying to jump in front of anyone and not at others expense either we all pay a fee for this journey like jen said some people are in unsafe areas (as you should know you are in stockton california 30 miles from where i live.. there are some crazy people in that town and you should move just some advice) and need help faster than others and have to try anything they can to get out of it and requesting doesnt mean we will get it either..i am still waiting but hey are sending a letter to NBC requesting our case be expedited so i hope that does happen as i dont want to leave my husband here in this violent situation.

  6. thank jen for your kind words and the hugs :) i got some feedback today from my congressman strangely because i got a email from one of the senator's the other day saying until after the shutdown resolves they will not be able to respond and help me but the congressman's office wrote this (see below) i actually faxed the wrong congressman ooops lol ........so i responded with a email explaining more in detail of our situation and am going to fax another privacy release just in case they need it. I hope they help us and can get this moving along a little faster :)

    Greetings Mrs. Saad,

Congressman Denham and I have received the privacy release form forwarded to us by Congressman McClintock’s office.

Since you are within Congressman Denham’s district, we are happy to assist you.

I have read the situation and have some questions.

USCIS has certain criteria that must be met in order for an expedite to be considered and granted.

    You mention humanitarian grounds.

It would be beneficial to your argument if you were able to provide additional evidence supporting your claim.

This evidence can be submitted along with your privacy form and a letter from Congressman Denham.

However, if you are unable to gather further evidence then I will go ahead and send your request along with a congressional letter from Congressman Denham that your I-130 be considered for an expedite on humanitarian grounds .

    Let me know,

    Melody Maldonado

  7. hey blueberry i am here i just havent got any news yet to really write about and trying to figure out what is the best for the baby right now if his visa doesnt get expedited..i wrote both my senators and also my congressman and due to the stupid shutdown i havent heard anything from anyone :( i dont want to leave my husband and go thru this pregnancy alone but its a big possibility it just sucks because this is his first child and he deserves to be there. i hope to hear something soon i will def keep u all updated :) One thing i am wondering but maybe i should post somewhere else is if i do leave what do i need to leave my husband like paperwork wise. Just so want this process to be over and i know everyone else does to.

  8. not sure what you are asking but if you are asking bout my expedite request i ask them to expedite on humanitarian grounds..Due to the political unrest and fearing for our safety also my husband can not look for work due to this chaos..Just a few minutes ago there was a demonstration walking thru by our flat for the second time in a month right next to a young boys school and this time fights broke out...very scary and sad there are women and children out there in them streets and my husband is out today looking at another place more secure than here..praying he dont run into those crazy people

  9. Thanks everyone for the congrats yes it really is a blessing and no i cant leave him a again i mean i will if i have to but the last time i left egypt i cried the whole way home and we were both miserable for 4 months. We are going to see what they say about the expedite we also have another option if it doesnt come his sister is in UAE and her hubby can get my husband a job but i just so rather fly home and start life instead of fly here fly there but we will do whatever it takes to stay together.

  10. I am glad u ask that blueberry i was about to post about my expedite as i hear they dont expedite for that reason and also i have read they might deny just because they think someone got pregnant just for the expedite...trust me that is not the case lol yes we were trying but that is only because i am not getting any younger here lol i am 38 and my husband doesnt have any kids i have 4 so if it wasnt for him i def wouldnt be pregnant lol.. I actually just ask for it on humanitariun grounds due the the political and governmental situation and the onging protests of the muslim brotherhood and fearing for our safety. My husband is unable to find work because of this and our quality of life has diminished severely. i wonder if i should have told them i was pregnant now or not if that would have helped us but i dont want to get denied since that is not one of the grounds to get expedite also after the request they give you a confirmation number and said i have a target date as of Oct 1st to call back..I am also writing my 2 senators and congressmen i am going to fax it to them so i will let them know i am expecting but before i do go to doctor and get proof to fax that also.

  11. Blueberry, I had the BEST sleep I've had in a while...woke up happy and ready to call the IRS this morning to request my transcripts for next steps at NVC! Can't believe I'm doing that now. I was holding off because I didn't want them out of date before needed. goofy.gif

Luv, yes...he came here and we got married in Vegas. We didn't mind where we got married, but, Vegas is, as you know, if you're from CA, THE EASIEST place to do it without any pre-planning. Since we weren't allowed to pre-plan...we didn't. We just went to Vegas, where you get your license in 5 minutes, get married in 10 and were married and had a little vacation at the same time! Actually, we were originally going to go the K-1 route, but were advised by a lawyer that doing it this way was faster a lot of times, especially since hubby didn't want to be here unable to work for a year while they processed everything. This way, we got married, started the process and he got to keep his job and maintain income. He has a good job there, so it wasn't worth losing a year's salary in our situation...I know everyone is different though. Maybe it's good that you are there with your husband, but, I do hope you get yours expedited on humanitarian grounds. Are you a CA resident? If you are, have you contacted Senators Boxer or Feinstein about your situation? If you haven't, I would....especially with the situation where you are right now....just an idea. Yes--Phoenix was good! California also has been good, too, so far. I wonder why you got sent to NBC and I got CA....

r060106, it is harder if your spouse is from a non-VWP country! crying.gif I really feel for you, especially with your wife preggo. I really think you might want to make a request to see if they will expedite...and maybe your situation is also worth a note to your local Senator....not sure where you are...but maybe worth it. You may want to wait a month or two more...and then write. Maybe you'll get a quick NOA2, too! Did you state anywhere in your application docs about your wife's pregnancy?

Myguita, according to what they told me on the phone, they just don't have a timeline for USC's in California. The other centers do have timelines posted online.

Luv, I do wonder if where the spouse is living makes a difference. It crossed my mind. But, I'm sure there's no way to prove it either way...just something I wonder...

i thought it was against the law to come to america on a tourist visa and get married? was i told wrong? and yes i am a resident of california and what has been posted is all filing went to nbc after may i beleive..so lucky you are and i am definately getting ahold of my senators and congressman
