Aww thank you I did get a letter from USCIS saying they sent it to NVC last week and I called yesterday and nothing. I was sent to the arm pit of all service centers Nebraska.
But thank God I'm out of there now. I was lucky I guess wasn't asked for anything just waited like an idiot.
I'll make sure to call when they open and then at night if there is still nothing. Talked to Jim and he said to wait at least a week more hahaaa but as he said that I was thinking yeah right I'll wait a week.
But he was very nice. Thank you for asking that is very kind of you.
(F) One for you and one for your love.
It takes roughly 2 weeks for NVC to receive your packet from "shipped" message. When did you get "we have shipped your approved..." message?

Guys an update!!!
On April 22, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
I hope this means approval soon!!! Please God!!!
Imminent Approval! Many congrats in advance. Guessing game will end today

Gosh..got the case number and IIN. Arthur said that I have to wait 20 days from today to have invoice uploaded. This is killing me!!!!!
It is usually lot quicker than that. They always give you longer time period for CYA purpose

Thanks! Called, the young lady was nice and said my case was outside normal processing time of 5 months and opened a service request for me. Lets see what happens.
Excellent! I did the same and my petition was approved in less than two weeks. Make sure you give them your email address and note down confirmation number they give you. Good luck!

Anyone have a direct number? I keep getting an automated system that just tells me what the website tells me.
Call the number and then dial 1,2,2,2. It works!
-
My case was approved on 3/27/14 but it still hasn't reached NVC... its been 25 days.. so frustrating... NVC keeps telling me wait 5 to 6 weeks..
Anyone else with same/close approval date as mine and still waiting for NVC receipt?
Yes our case approved on 28th and wasn't received at NVC until yesterday. Call them, they should have your case by now.
-
Our case was approved on 4/8 and today i received an email saying "On April 17, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly."
When should i start calling and any idea when will the NVC receive my cas
I got that update on Apr 8 and they still haven't received our petition. It takes about 2 weeks for nvc to receive your file from that "shipped" notice from nsc.

Well, we woke up this morning to an email from USCIS, saying we are.....APPROVED!!!! FINALLY! bdrew, our NOA2 date is 4/17.
Good luck to everyone else here waiting, especially those who were waiting there with us at the Nebraska Service Center. I know all of you have an approval coming soon!!!
Congrat! Not sure if you ended up filing a SR?

I got this reply today
The status of this service request is:
On 03/10//2014, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I130 to notify us that you believe your case is outside of normal processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
We have found that your case meets the requirements for expedited processing.
You should receive a decision or notice of further action on your I130 within 45 days of the date of this letter.
I wonder if I will acts receive a decision in 45 days.
This is certainly a great news. You should be receiving a decision in the next 10 days. They give you 45 days time frame but usually approval comes in way sooner than that provided there are no pending background checks. It seems like you don't have a pending background check so expect an approval very soon.

Just got my case number!!!! I've never been so excited for someone to ask me name. I told NVC rep Gina that and she laughed.
Congrats!!!

APPROVED!
i received an email this morning saying they've mailed the NOA2 hard copy.
Told you it was imminent!! Many congrats to you

Your only option is to submit the certificate when you got married, I believe.
-
Hello, I was married on April 2013 in Saudi Arabia. The NVS is requesting supporting documents from my wife. The marriage took place in Pakistan embassy and was issued a marriage certificate with stamp and seal of the government of Pakistan. I was wondering if that will be acceptable to send to NVC or do i need to somehow get a marriage certificate from the Saudi government. Thanks
I am almost certain that marriage certificate has to be from the country in which you got married.

So there's this Twitter event going on right now with the Secretary of the Dept of Homeland Security answering questions #DHSchat
He's not answering any questions about the backlog. Or why is the K-3 visa still offered. Or why USCIS can't process petitions in order. Or what's the point of USCIS when we have to repeat the process at NVC! Shocked.
Any answers being given are just blanket slogan statements basically. Don't ask me why I expected more, but this is what we're working with :/
Hang in there, everyone. I really hope you get approvals soon.
Are you surprised?!?

Just wanted to share that if you are getting close to NOA2 or have recently gotten NOA2 you might want to consider going for or at least investigating the process for your PCC. Hubby just went today and its turning out to be a huge PITA and they can't even give us a timeline for completion! our NVC stage is all complete except for PCC.
hope this helps someone else to avoid delays! I know not every country makes it difficult to get the PCC so you might want to at least look into it. Even within India different states/cities have different procedures and it can prove difficult (or not so difficult depending on where you are)
Can you please share your hubby's experience? My wife would have to get her PCC soon to as our file will be at NVC soon. Did they give him hardtime with PCC process? Thank you. Hope it works out for you guys.
P.S. I know that PCC is not a must have document at NVC stage, so if for some reason you can't get it right away just NVC know you are having hard time obtaining one and will bring it to the interview. It has worked for many people. Good luck!

Thank you Nebraska! We just got a late in the day approval!!! Hoping more people got the same!!
Congratulations!!
You must have got approved around 3. That is when I received "shipped to" notification.

Sionara NSC!!

They absolutely refused to make a service request for me. That was the 2nd time calling a Tier 2 and this time I even spoke to the supervisor of the Tier 2 rep and they still would not do anything. They told me I had to wait the 60 days from the transfer date like it said on my hard copy transfer notice. ANNOYING!
I would say keep calling. CS Rep should be able to open a SR for you too. You don't necessarily need to speak to Tier 2 to open a SR.

Goodmorning my friends
Hope to all to have a great day
I just called the custmer service and my wife spoke to the office ( tier 2 ) he said transferred to Detroit office your local office and you have to wait like 60 - 90 days
The customer service rep. Open service request for us now please my friends is that good being transferred to a local service center. Any advise please
Thanks
Yours is very unique case. I am totally surprised to see that you got transferred to local office. I suggest you should also contact the local office. You should have received a transfer notice in the mail. follow the instruction on it.

Hello everybody, I am trying to call USCIS but I've had no luck whatsoever in getting a live person on the phone. Whatever options I choose or not choose I just get the automated voice and then the call ends. Please somebody tell me how to get to a tier 2 rep on the phone. I need to call them to confirm they shipped my case to NVC after my approval; it's been more than a month and NVC says they have not received our case yet.
I posted the same message in your original thread. Take a look.
Here is how to get them in 30 seconds.
When you dial 1800 number, press 1,2,2,2 and someone will answer your call in 30 seconds.
And when you speak with CS Rep, ask him/her to transfer your call to Tier 2 right away as you have been waiting for over a month to be transferred to NVC. Tier 2 should be able to tell you exactly where your file is. Good luck and keep us posted!

I did make multiple calls and I did try entering the language/case number and not entering it, but I had no luck with getting a human on the line.

Call the 800 number and press 1,2,2,2. This will let you speak with CS Rep. Ask him to put in a SR for you as you are out of normal processing time frame. Good luck!
