Check your case status now plssssssssssss.......I really hope they are already working on our files and this is not a glitch in the system. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Probably cause CSC would approve them on the spot... !

Also one thing I noticed is that all applications that were going directly to service centers October end onwards were routed to NSC, VSC or TSC. None of them went to CSC which means CSC is not going to process any i130 going forward? Very strange.

hi I'm so happy, mr bdrew612 please make your magic and update me,,,, beers, beers, beers
Congrats!!! I hope you go to CSC!
-
Another one!
Anyhow if we're seeing FIVE approvals so far just on VJ, there must be way way more! Which means... NSC is alive!
Which might mean our approvals are way closer than we think! :-)
-
I'm working there now. I'm approving ALL the petitions!!!!
We need more people like you there
-
I know! I think there've been 4 approvals today! and it's still early!
Don't mean to correct you but only 4 reported approvals (i.e. people who filled their timelines). I have noticed lots of people in May/Jun forums don't complete their timelines and spreadsheets as well.

So in reality, there might be lot more "unreported" approvals.

Thank you, VNBC!
You seem to have some magic skills in predicting what will USCIS' next move be.. so let's all hope you are right about NSC!
*hugs*
I think your wife will receive an ARN upon approval.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
EDIT: We received our hard copy letter and it is indeed NSC.
And a supplemental letter with "If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action within 60 days, please call Customer Service [...]"
Also, PD box is left blank. Receipt Date is filled in though and says 9/9.
I checked the weather forecast for Lincoln, NE and they should not get any snow in March! so no snow days for them, yay.
Haha thank you for giving me so much credit. My gut says we will get approved sooner than later..I say in less than 30 days. So before the end of March. Keeping my fingers crossed.

3 am here. Can't sleep. Crying ...
I guess that puts me in a "Not doing great" category.
And you... ?
I go back and from from being hopeful to hopeless. I don't know anymore. This uncertainty is brutal.
Awww "hugs"..I am more or less in the same situation. We have to be strong though. I keep telling the same to my wife. We already waited 6 months so few more months. I constantly feel that NSC will start working on July and September sooner than we expect. Don't cry..be strong, think about all the good times you had with your hubby and all of the good times coming your way.

I feel for ya
Thank you
. I am glad to have you all here...The day will come when this will be over.

I am still trying to get over my transfer at NSC
:(
-
I'm really curious to know why that exception even happened...
Anyhoo, I'm thinking tomorrow's transfers are headed to California. VNBCI30, care to weigh in?
Most of the time Monday's transfers go to CSC and then remaining days they go to TSC (but now they are transferring to NSC and vsc). So I agree with you.

What website?
Ohh. I get it. Lol 2.30 am here
How are you making out so far girl? Hope you are recovering...Lets all pray NSC starts working on our file sooner than we expected (next week? Too much to ask?)
I think reactions towards USCIS' decision making process needs its own adjective lol
Hehehe...I am truly speechless about this whole mess. Gives me sleepless nights and lots of stress.
-
Interesting. The website said Nebraska, but I was sent to California.
Was there a sarcasm here? if so, I didn't get it .
-
just got ours.
He were transferred on the 24th of Feb ... and we got transferred to Vermont.
is that a good thing or not?
What?!? You are probably the first one to go to VSC. This is crazy. No clue what USCIS is doing...Just amazing and speechless.

According to our marriage customs, the priest conducts the marriage in presence of two witnesses and asks the groom whether he agrees to the marriage and then takes the groom's, witnesses' and bride's guardian's signature, addresses, etc. on the marriage record. Then, either the priest goes to the bride in the ladies section or the bride's guardian does and asks the bride if she agrees to be married for a dower of certain sum. Then the bride's signature is taken in the marriage record booklet. The marriage record has every detail about the marriage including the priest's details, venue of marriage, time, etc. A marriage certificate is an official document from the issuing body which summarily lists the information in the marriage booklet. For our petition, we did send the copy of marriage certificate in English but not the marriage record; now we got RFE asking for ORIGINAL marriage certificate and marriage record booklet copy and it's translation.
That is absolutely bizarre. I have never ever heard anything like this before. They are questioning an official marriage certificate? That is F'ed up.

My file was transfered to CSC on Jan 22 and I got Alien registration Number on Jan 28. Since then I have no update on my file. I'm patiently waiting yet concerned at the same time.
I personally think it has something to do with background check and until background checks are not completed they wont approve your petition.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
Not an expert on this but you sound about right. Hang tight there, if you didn't do anything wrong they can't turn your application down. Approval coming your way soon!

I've actually looked for job openings!!!! Infiltrate the system!
ROFL

Spot on. And if USCIS was so worried about getting "frivolous" phone calls, then they should just put which service center the petition is going to on the first e-mail. It's not magic, they know where it's being sent off to when they enter in whatever system they're using that generates the e-mail.
I think if just few of us were working for USCIS, they would be in much better situation now and so would be members of VJ

I know you are just trying to be helpful....but IMO this advice about calling to see where your file went is counterproductive. The more time they spend on answering frivolous phone calls just means the less time they can actually work on the petitions. On top of that knowing where your petition was send does not matter. You cannot change it.
I am sure many will disagree, but we all want to be approved as quickly as possible. Why slow it down?
Speaking with tier2 doesn't slow down anything. That is a myth. They are sitting at NBC while our applications are at either CSC TSC or NSC.

Never ever ever send USCIS originals, so you did the right thing by sending in a photo copy. I know at the NVC stage they want a certified or original of the marriage certificate, but I've not heard of anyone getting an RFE asking for the original. I hope they don't do that!
That is what I thought too...I saw on April or May forum (can't remember which one) that NSC asked for original certificate..and I was like really? Will have to wait and see what they do with my case..
Sometimes I really wonder how miserable my state of mind would be without you wonderful people around me. A big thanks to VJ!

Hello!
Fingers crossed, guys
Woohooo...some excitement there..
On a side note, can I ask you which documents you sent along with your i130? I only sent one proof of bonafide relationship which was letter from a foreign bank stating we have a joint account together. Also - I read somewhere else sometimes they ask for original marriage certificate...I made a photocopy myself and sent it to them as per i130 instructions...I hope they don't send me any RFEs

Yes - They might have started to work backwards...You got transfer notice prior to me and I received this notice prior to you..It is only logical.. We will find out.
