oh does it have to be the original paper for the intent to sign? because those things always take 6 weeks or something or get lost in the mail -_-

dan ya saya bisa kasih email anda ke dia nanti, pasti kami akan perlu bantuan nanti ketika dia harus diwawancarai, makasih!!

    No, it doesn't.

I only submitted the scan copy of it and our K1 was approved fairly quickly (5 years ago).

Are you sure? I recall when my fiance was originally going to apply for a tourist visa (we decided against it since it was high probability of being denied) that the requirements specifically talked about showing a financial support. I can't find the exact list he had but it specifically mentioned the affidavit of support form. Here's a link to IMMI talking about the sponsor documents required for reference:

    https://www.***removed***/visitor-visa/sponsor-documents.html

My uncle applied for Visa last month and was approved. I didn't give him I-134 but I gave him letter stating I will be responsible for his accommodation while in USA. I give my brother in law I-134 when he applied last year and got denied. He said the CO didn't even look at the I-134 form. What the officer wanted was proof of strong ties in Indonesia. I guess what I'm trying to say is I-134 is not necessary for tourist visa. You can fill it out and give it to your friend but if she can't proof a strong ties to India, she might get denied.

    Hope this is help.

    Hi Meiliani,

I've contacted them and they said they'll need a copy of the arc. I pretty much ransacked my whole place looking for it and then remembered that the immigration took it back when I left the country and never made any copy. I haven't asked them about it yet, but did your husband had his copy?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I asked my husband and he said he only have his old passport that showed the visa and the immigration stamp and a copy of his resident card. He didn't have the original.

  4. Hi,

    Here's one example... maybe two...

My in laws were granted 5 years B1/B2 Visa. They came here last year in December, stayed here til March even though their I-94 stated valid til June.

Another scenario: my friend was granted again 5 years Visa but her I-94 only stated valid for 1 month.

Both my in laws and my friend cannot work here as well as getting a health insurance.

It's not normal. My husband's package didn't come like that and I've never heard of anyone else who has had this issue, either.

OP, call the consulate ASAP. Unfortunately you'll have to bring it back and have it resealed.

It's normal. My husband's package was the same way. No problem at all.

okay so im curious what is the latest i should risk sending my package off because were having a little money problems at the moment my date started im guessing august 4th aka today since my green card expires on nov 4th honestly so worried over this whole thing and i dont know how long i can hold it off without effecting my package ect. but dont have the $700 at the moment to just send

    Hi,

My husband sent out the package 15 days before his GC expired. We received the extension letter not long after. His employer never asked for the extension letter and such. However, about 2 weeks ago the college he applied to asked for a copy of it.

    I hope this is help.

    Congratulations, good news !!

Just out of curiosity, none of my business, but why did you allow your husband's filing date to come so dangerously close to being out of status ?

There are sometimes good reasons for that but more often I see people waiting last second and then start panicking and flooding the forums with panicked questions regarding what will happen now as uscis did not cash the check yet or NOA 1 not having arrived yet.

    Hi,

Thanks for the question and yes we do have a very good reason why we filed late. In fact, we've gathered all supporting documents 4 months prior but again something happened beyond our control.

You both sent to CSC? My greencard expired 3/30. I was in the 90 day window, still waiting for news.

I do know mine arrived though, they signed for it. I'm learning how much patience I have right now lol!

My husband sent the package 3/27. According to the USPS tracking number it was delivered 3/29. We also received the green slip from USPS with USCIS stamp on it last week but the check still hasn't been cashed. Now we're getting really nervous because my husband's green card will be expiring next week. :(
