They are hard to cope with, I know. My best tactic was to sleep them off. This summers been the worst for them not being with my wife and not knowing if id get denied drove me insane. now ive calmed down some and its out of my hands - in a way. A decent CO at the embassy and the jobs done. but thats a perfect world!!

i know mate, id never really heard of panic attacks until a year or so ago. i get them now and again, its the worst feeling ever isnt it. absolutely horrible. to be honest here in Bham they dont help you at all really. give you meds then off you go, no follow up or anything. health freak, i was a runner, used to run 400m - but ups and gym would kill me then, and more so now!!

Im really sorry to hear that Wayne.thats tough. there but for the grace of god eh. Ive had some dark thoughts at times,if i wasnt going back to the US, id not be typing this i dont think. things have to be really bad to go the final step though dont they.the cliche is its a cowards way out but i dont agree - it takes some guts to do that i say.ok, not ideal bravery in everyones eyes but still.
