YES!!!!
I got approved tonight!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited and completely shocked!!
We were transferred to Texas on Jan 30 and I totally thought we'd wait at least a month.
I can't wait for the rest of you still waiting, to feel this excitement... may it come soon!!!
Congrats!! Cant believe you had to put yourself on the "non transferred cases" list before lol..
-
Oh, and I just noticed my PD is incorrect on the spreadsheet, please change it from 7/30 to 7/24.
thanks!!
I got you covered Congrats!!!
-
I just got word that the article will be running tomorrow on the front page of that National Section! I'll let you know if I get a link online for it. (I'm going to go run out and get a copy, just because.) YAY!
Good Job Kaylara!!!!

Awesome!!! Happy dance that there is finally some media attention. Will email Ms. Preston a thank you for bringing this to light when other reporters have not even touched this.

Finally, got the text msg around 9pm. Our i-130, has been finally aproved! (TSC), now time for the i-485
Congratulations....
Esp good to see some texas approvals. Mind adding your case details to July spreadsheet...let me know here your details or through the form (in my signature)...I shall add you.
Good Luck going forward.

You remembered correctly. We'll be filing the AOS in the US before the end of this month. So unlike many, I'm now with my husband and I don't take that for granted for one second. Our immigration road is complicated and we have a lawyer due to the circumstances surrounding my case - it helps me to be in the US actually.
I'm in NY also We'll just file the I-485 along with the copy of the I-130 transfer and NSC will have no choice but to send the I-130 to match it up with the I-485 so that's why we're holding off on intervening for the moment. If I were still in Canada you bet my husband would have done everything to get that moving!
I wish you well and everyone else here waiting to get their I-130's approved!
Good...file AOS quickly and I pray you don't have any problems. I will keep up with you and see how you are moving along and keep you updated on mine. Let's see how NY AOS goes for us....
We got approved!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it finally feels real!
Congratulation!!!! I love updating spreadsheet with more and more approvals as I know what a relief it is. Wishing to see many more.
Congrats, happy to see your approval. I hope they process your case at NVC quickly to cover up the earlier delay. And yeah, wanted to say thanks for taking good care of the July spreadsheet. God bless you.
Prayers for those who are still waiting for approvals soon.
thanks so much for your appreciation. I like to work behind the scenes mostly God bless you too and I agree, let's keep praying for all those waiting.

Really ? Really ?
And what part of what I said, may I ask, invoked this strong reaction -----
"I don't think there'll be any curse, though at times I almost felt that way for being July spreadsheet moderator.....Let's all be mindful that even though we are happy to have moved forward, there are many watching helplessly as others move forward. Let's keep supporting those people and keep them in our prayer and doing what we can to support."
Am I not doing this or did I ask you to not care for people ????
I can see where your confusion comes in...
Editing my earlier post so you know what part of what I wrote was in response to what you wrote earlier about the curse. You can see the second part no where says "aditya324 should be mindful" though a missed space to enter a new paragraph made you feel it was directed at you to be more mindful.
To aditya3245: "I don't think there'll be any curse, though at times I almost felt that way for being July spreadsheet moderator....."
(New Para) "Let's all be mindful that even though we are happy to have moved forward, there are many watching helplessly as others move forward. Let's keep supporting those people and keep them in our prayer and doing what we can to support."
-
I am really happy for you! I'm still waiting for NSC to get it together on our file...transferred since mid-Sept 2013 and I'm STILL waiting...but I'm really happy that somebody finally got an approval from NSC!!!
Praying for you Terry J. I was looking at all the names on spreadsheet and remembered yours. If I recall, you're not doing consular now, right? Sorry if I mixed you up with someone else. Mine was actually at California but stuck for some reason almost full 60 days from transfer. I am so upset for you that you are still waiting. Have you asked them what holdup is? any infopass, congressional intervention? Praying for you. You are in NY too? We have somewhat similar path. mine more complicated and unpredictable for now....
-
NNONONONONONONO
You got it all wrong.
By "curse" i meant to joke that you were supposedly delayed to 60 plus days despite at the CSC b/c you moderated.
Get it ?
Like the curse of the oscars.
Of course, I respect those that filed for my month and i'm here like 24/7 to support them.
Sheesh..
Don't worry. I did understand what you were saying and responded based on that.
-
What ?
Why ?
It's soooooo overrated. lol..
For what it looks like (and for what it's worth), they've actually stopped transferring to Neb for August).
Hope it stays that away.
And i also hope that I don't get the "curse of the transfer sheet moderator case delay"
JK
I don't think there'll be any curse, though at times I almost felt that way for being July spreadsheet moderator. I'm not really worried about July, August, esp ones at CSC (though yes some do get stuck at CSC too), I am saddened to see Nebraska, Texas lagging, and even more painful to see earlier months still waiting. I know we all get happy and come here doing happy dance when approved/transferred...but it's not until one goes through seeing others getting approved/transferred before oneself that one truly appreciates and understands the injustice of this system, the pain/frustration it causes. Let's all be mindful that even though we are happy to have moved forward, there are many watching helplessly as others move forward. Let's keep supporting those people and keep them in our prayer and doing what we can to support.
-
Folks !
Can you please update and add SkySofiaLila's NOA2 onto your spreadsheet ?? (I win the "nosy Auguster" prize )
Approved 2/6 !!
This backs my theory about CSC is doing approvals in ~ 15 days !!!!
You do realize I sleep at times lol Well 2 sets of eyes better than one. It's updated. July is getting there now with CSC and picking up on August spreadsheet. Good Luck to August. I am praying for NSC and TSC approvals to come and pick up their pace. Kick their
-
I am in shock. I just got my NOA2 a few minutes ago. I can't believe it. I'm afraid it's a dream and that I'm going to wake up...
Congratulations!!! I too kept rechecking my number again and again comparing it to my NOA1... It's real. Enjoy! I updated the spreadsheet. Good Luck going forward and a smooth ride.

Could you please let me know the Nebraska service center email id to which you sent your email and got this response?
I emailed Nebraska service center only yesterday and only got the below standard automated response
This automatic response confirms receipt of your email inquiry or message.
Keep in mind this email box is not for obtaining any type of Immigration advice and is only to be used for issues with cases at the Nebraska Service Center . Please use this means of inquiring only after contacting the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 and receiving a service request referral number. If after 30 days of receiving a SRMT number your issue is not resolved, the NSC, NCSC Followup staff will try to resolve your problem.
Please ensure that your email inquiry contains the referral number and all of the necessary information to identify your case, including your complete address. This will allow us to respond to your inquiries timely. If the National Customer Service did not issue a service request please indicate the reason.
If you have not first contacted the 1-800 number and obtained a referral you may not receive a further response.
Nebraska Service Center
I don't know how NSC works but I got similar response to first inquiry sent to CSC on Jan 11. I changed my strategy bit for second email sent few days before 60 days up and never got that automated stuff, so maybe someone did pick up on it. I wrote about it here...http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474794-those-waiting-for-the-60-days-after-transfered/page-2

Does anyone have an idea about the March visa bulletin 2014, because when I call to nvc they said their is no visa to issue, my PD is 29/10/2013 when is some updates in VJ I saw the PD like after 08 September 2013 got the visa numbers. I’m so depressed and I’m missing my husband so much.
I got my visitor’s visa B1/B2 visa type and I went to USA for 1 month and I came back to my home because we receive a letter from NVC that they received our petition from USCIS. And I was so happy, but now to see our priority dates not been current.
I have multiple visa for 5 years but the main problem is the money, to me to travel to USA it’s take 23 hours and my tickets cost like $1350 (My monthly salary is also $300 in sri lanka) and I can’t trouble to my husband for everything. He also got his job recently. And he spend lot of money for one month of my stay in USA. I know we are all helpless. But anyway if you guys have ay idea about the next current date for March 2014 visa bulletin.
Thank you.
March bulletin is not out yet and if you are spouse of permanent resident, you would fall under F2A preference category (I think, not an expert on this) and for Sri Lankan national, Feb 2014 bulletin was a cutoff date of PD 8 Sept 2013. Wait to see what happens in March bulletin http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin.html (not sure when it comes out...maybe towards end of the month). Good Luck

Congrats psv!!!!
And horray kashewmoo!!!
I'm so happy for you both. It's bright moments like these that help make the process more bearable, and raise my spirits back up.
Thanks Lakehouse. I know the wait is difficult. I am praying for you and everyone else in this crazy process.
-
So mine got approved just a few days short of 60...I never called the USCIS misinformation line, never placed a service request either since then I figured I'd get the 30 day wait thing. Senator and congressman did not wanna be involved.
I sent an email on Jan 11 venting about why others getting approved out of order this that, asked my status...very quickly got automated response that this email is to follow up only with service request number and won't be considered otherwise.
I again sent email on Jan 31, not venting this time about others but calmly stating that I have no service request number due to agents refusing giving me March 2013 timelines, another agent couldn't tell me if file really was at CSC, another stated 6 more months...in this case I have no recourse but to depend on their written notice stating they process in 60 days and mine are up in few days, asked status, if file is at CSC, if it will take beyond 60 days. This time no automated response...so I figured maybe a human is considering it.
I also sent an email to the service center director yesterday night stating I am frustrated to be getting different responses conflicting to the 60 day notice.
I don't know what exactly worked but it got approved today.
Wanted to share in case it helps someone else. Praying for everyone

YAY! I'm so happy for you! Sweet and happy dreams to you tonight!
Congrats!
Thank you Kaylara. I was going to ask you about FOIA too after seeing April thread...
-
We just got the text message/email that our I-130 has been approved! So, so, so very excited! (And I'll get my stuff added in the actual August spreadsheet, I've just been in this thread since the very get go, so I've always considered myself with everyone in July. But, there you go!)
Off to NVC!
Happy that you too got yours as I finally got mine 4 days short of 60 days transfer to CSC. Mine went straight to post decision saying we mailed you approval....is that normal?
I pray to see more approvals happening. I know many are heartbroken over this and frustrated.
-
So far you have the lead by a large margin! but it is a marathon, not a sprint!!!!!
So it seems that I lost the marathon indeed. Bowing out from the race and wishing that no one wins this darn race. I want everyone to loose really really fast.
I just got the approval...I guess signing Happy song all day was good...now I can sleep happy.
I honestly pray for each one of you and wish that everyone is out this sooner than later.

I think I'll be the one wining this one man! NBSC does not like me at all!!!!
Sorry NBSC hates you. CSC LOVES me...they spit every case out in a timely manner, the most hated ones in a week.... Mine they simply can't even imagine getting done with What else do you say to 60 days waiting at the beloved CSC..
-
for the fun of it, we will compete for the last man standing award!!!!
I'm in
I usually don't win anything but just feeling lucky with this one

California Service Center.
I'll update the spreadsheet in a moment.
Congratulations!!!
I updated it for you, let me know if there's any corrections.

This USCIS process is not stupid. It is beyond the norms of stupidity as we know it!
NBSC is just getting to May filers this week. So at least two more months of absolutely nothing before we even get looked at!
This is absurd!!!!
Going to pray for you, me, and everyone waiting in this process....
-
Can they be mean to you during the interview if you involve the senator or congressman at the uscis stage?
I would doubt it...don't think so...wouldn't know cause my senator/congressman don't even want to get involved. They speak the same language as USCIS agents...one that makes no sense.
