  1. July 25 2013 USCIS date July 29 2013

On January 22, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT..............

On January 28, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT.....

One week!! I could not even believe it. I think the California service center is stepping up.

Congrats... Please fill your timeline and fill this form here so I can add you to July spreadsheet. It helps everyone in keeping track. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19ge0v9iwSqX3VQFbTccvMQnoLChhNiOOtMuRRk4nICs/viewform

  2. Yes I know. Prayers are all that we can do. We have crossed more than halfway already anyways. This time will pass soon as well inshAllah.

Use this time to strengthen your relationship in terms of communication (long distance...one has to be more effective I think), problem solving, planning for unpredictability, etc. Use this as an opportunity to strengthen your relationship in ways only a difficult situation such as this would allow. In future, when sitting alongside your spouse, looking back at life, you will laugh at how this made you work harder in your relationships and dealing with stress...everything in life, every adverse situation in life, is a learning opportunity. We may not see it at that moment but in time you will see why you went through what you did and how that prepared you for where you had to go in life. It's not just about the green card or I130... God will use this to strengthen all of us for future. Have faith and pray and use this time to learn from, as difficult as it is. It's far bigger than a green card, this life.....

  3. I know I m trying really hard to be calm and try to distract myself as well. But whenever I open July thread 2 3 appovals r there everyday and may and June filers r just waiting without any news at all! It's so frustrating. Only if those idiots do everything in order we could have been on NVC stage by now. It's been one uear since I met my husband. Missed our first anniversary. These r one of the best memories of life. And just because of their broken and messed up system. I am sorry for going on like this but life has just never felt so stuck.

I wish I had words to offer encouragement but all I can say is I know it's difficult. It's still an unpredictable process even for some July filers who never got transferred or who are still waiting almost 2 months since transfer. I don't know why USCIS is way it is. My mom was asking me "why you get stuck like this". My answer "I'm sure God knows the past, present, future, and there is a reason". While everyone in July is speeding along and now I am sure to see August as well...I'm sitting with no idea. Senator office useless (seemed like former USCIS employee). Cant call USCIS cause they will give same BS of not outside processing date...so unsure why and often getting worried about why my case was just left sitting. Got to keep faith though that it will be per God's will. Keep faith and I pray for everyone to be done with USCIS sooner than later.

  4. Please let me know if I am missing anyone on July spreadsheet, if there's any I left out with NOA1 in July.... Also we had a lot of transfers about a week ago, so if you all have gotten the notices stating where your case was transferred, please let me know and I will update it on spreadsheet.

    Good Luck to everyone..

  5. my service request is due Saturday too

I contacted my Senators office today and she put in another inquiry. She said if they don't come back with " within one week" she will put in an expedite. She said Texas takes a few days to respond. Also, today was the second day I sent an email to TSC. My 60 days is at 62 days today. Senators office will also mention we want the K3.

I guess we'll see. I'm about to book a flight because I miss my husband so much. If I don't get an approval by next week, I'll take a 4 day trip to see his face. I can't take it anymore

Praying today is your day. It will make me very happy to see yours and some other long standing April ones approved on here today. We can have a celebration thread then....dancin5hr.gif

  6. No they are not fast. And they are approving out of order. PD July 24 Transferred Jan 13 to CSC and still waiting!! Congrats to you, but this whole system is corrupt and backwards.

Agreed...July getting approved before Feb/March/April, one service center getting approvals faster over other, later PDs getting transferred over earlier..no rhyme or reason. Mine is pending at CSC since 12/9.... Maybe today's goal...contact local congressman. I expect August to see approvals before I see one for myself.

  7. OMG. I am happy our case is approved from Nebraska PD. July 16. On to the next stage. I think things are changing at NSC.

Please update my timeline approval received today January 28.

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME. Wish all others waiting for approval the best.

Congratulations to you and all other recent approvals and transfers. For those that sent out the I130 package at end of July, check your NOA1 hard copy for your receipt date...if you see the receipt date of Aug 1 or so, please feel free to join August thread where all the activity has begun :) If your NOA1 is stating end of July date, let me know and I will add it. Good to see Texas and Nebraska showing some movement.

  8. Sorry this is happening to you dude, I remembered the night you saw your transfer update. Your really should have been approved since you were transfered to CSC and among the first batch of July transfers.

wishing you what am wishing myself.

Yeah my heart was beating so fast when it got transferred dancin5hr.gif

I spent a lot of time being so upset, aggravated, sad, down etc...but now am accepting it. I mean I will still try to contact the local congressman office (senator was SO useless). At same time, I am thankful, truly thankful for what I do have. So many of you are separated from your spouse, I am fortunate to be with him. For me, it was different reasons to want it to get approved quickly. I still have ways to go after first step to get my GC by doing an adjustment status. For me, my mom was really not well and I just wanted to be able to travel to see her with GC in hand...and not knowing the what/when/how etc was really bringing me down. I thank God for making her health better so that I can have some peace while I wait it out with USCIS. God took care of my worries and will take care of this too in it's due time. I will keep faith. I can't wait to see my parents who I haven't in 4 years almost and who weren't there for my wedding....so it does make me sad...but I have more faith and thankful that I have a little more peace knowing mom is more stable.

In every situation, try to find the blessings and understand there is a lesson to be learnt or God knows best as to why we wait. If I look back, it's all worked out eventually in time. It's hard to remember that though when in the situation. Doesn't mean I will not keep trying...but I won't aggravate over it.

  9. Guys I m stuck at CSC for a month now (June filer). I have no idea why I didn`t get approved within 2 weeks - just like everybody else who got transferred there.ranting33va.gif

I know how you feel... Mine is 1 1/2 now at CSC. Was taking time off forums this week to cool my mind a bit and get over the BS I got from senator's office....they might as well work for USCIS. Maybe this week I will try to contact congressman and email or something. Keep me updated if you find something. At this point for me, it's in God's hands and it will happen when it's the right time for me...I will keep faith. I hope you hear something or see some movement.

  10. How do I update the spreadsheet to show I was transferred to CSC? My info is there already just not where transferred to?

Hey psv57....can you please update our information on the spreedsheet? We submitted an expedite request on Friday and just got the request approved today.

    Thanks!

    Blair

    Updated the spreadsheet..

I'm going to be on/off from here for a bit...Feel free to update the spreadsheet everyone and Good Luck.

  11. Just got home from this lovely snow storm out :) Not fun at all...ugh... so will be making updates in just a little bit.. keep posting here and on spreadsheet... On call with the local congressman office to see if they can help my case any...well at least the FINALLY called to say they have gotten my case...after so long it seems....grrr....so cold....need to warm up with some positive news today.

  12. We got transferred to Texas. I note they are waay behind and we have a PD of July 16th. Interestingly, we received another text but not email to say there had been an update but the last "touched" date remains the same. We continue to wait in the meantime going to book another holiday to see my husband!

Was pretty sure that we'd signed up for e-notifications, so was borderline OCD checking for news of a transfer but nuthin'...

Lo 'n' behold, Wifey gets 2 envelopes on Saturday from USCIS informing us that our I-130 & I-129f were transferred on January 8 to CSC. Whoop whoop - happy dance kicking.gif

    Hi guys,

We were transferred to CSC on Jan 8, 2013. Not sure how to edit this in my timeline. I do have a question though, I'm in Canada and I'm going to have a change of address in the next month or so. I've been out of the country for the last 3 months and not sure what all mail I've missed even though I did have a forwarding address. My husband received the transfer notice in Florida, but would USCIS be mailing me anything? Also, once its approved...does anyone know what the next steps are and how long approximately it takes to get an interview? Is the approval notice the NOA2 and does the US Citizen receive it?

Thank you...you guys are the only reason this process is somewhat tolerable.

Please go to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19ge0v9iwSqX3VQFbTccvMQnoLChhNiOOtMuRRk4nICs/viewform to be added to the July spreadsheet so that we can help each other track how things are progressing at the service centers... You can view the spreadsheet here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqbNd1-VjCT-dDhTSDFVcGJOSE5tMmR5dkRYUk9mYUE&usp=sharing#gid=0 Make sure to use your visajourney username so it's easier to know you on spreadsheet.

  13. Received hard copy in the mail today. Transferred to CSC... priority date jan. 14 smile.png

I added you to the spreadsheet...Good Luck moving forward.

Received my hard copy too. Transferred to CSC. Weird thing is I have a "Receipt Date" and a "Notice Date", but my "Priority Date" is blank.

    I updated the spreadsheet.

Let me know if I'm missing any or of any correction...

  14. Just thinking out loud here regarding the 60 day supplemental notices that were sent out.

We know Tier 1 and Tier 2, given day and time, their mood will give a different answer. The fact remains they sent written notices out saying they have to process within 60 days and this was part of their effort to reduce workloads and process faster. We also are seeing that emailing the individual service centers does nothing especially when there is no service request number which of course you can't get because Tier 1 and 2 go by the Feb 13 processing dates...So was wondering if there could be a mass effort to complain from those pending 60 days or more....

I am wondering if we can email SCOPSSCATA@dhs.org collectively stating the following: This is the email addy mentioned on USCIS if you can't get a response from the service center...

    Dear Sir/Madam,

My I130 case (Receipt Number -------) was transferred to ____ (Name of service center) on __________ (date). I received a supplemental notice with my transfer stating that due to USCIS diligent efforts to reduce processing times, the case was transferred and USCIS will process within 60 days and I would hear something. I request that my case be looked into as it has been pending for _____ days.

I understand the requirement is to have a service request number by having called the National Customer Service and having placed a service request., following which one can email the service center when one hasn't heard anything back. I was unable to get a service request number as Tier 1 and Tier 2 representatives refuse to place one stating the case is outside processing time of Feb 13, 2013. I am unable to email the individual service center as they do not look into emails without an actual service request number. My last resort is to reach out to you as is stated on USCIS website when one is unable to resolve by calling National Customer Service and emailing the service center where file is transferred to.

This whole runaround and miscommunication is unacceptable as it's double standards on part of USCIS. If USCIS is allowed to go by what it is stated in writing on USCIS website that they are processing cases as of Feb 13, 2013 or before (which by the way I disagree with), then we, the stakeholders, have every right to hold USCIS accountable to the written notice stating that our transferred case is to receive some processing within 60 days. I am positive that the supplemental notices sent with the transfers were NOT a mistake on part of USCIS and hope that USCIS will uphold what they have promised.

I urge you to look into this matter at your earliest. It is unacceptable that cases are pending for so long when the national average time when we filed was stated to be 6 months.

    Sincerely,

    -----

  15. I am all in to it. Let's get LOUD. before they change 60 days to 180.

Got to make some noise...Feel free to add your case details you feel relevant to see if you get an answer.. Like priority date, name of sponsor/beneficiary etc. Got to make noise that they are going against what they said in writing (to shut people up after the first round of letters) and they are just as accountable to written as they expect us to go by their Feb 13 BS.

    Now onto next step...

Congrats. Didn't see you on the spreadsheet, so added you. If there's any corrections, let me know.

  18. Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here! First, I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am for having stumbled across Visa Journey and this forum in particular. I've been reading it since Monday. Being able to relate to the perils and hopefully the successes in here have lifted my spirits tremendously! So, thanks for organizing and participating in this attempt to make sense of this bizarre process we're in.

I created My Timeline, but I'm not sure if there's another place I could be adding our data. But here it is:

    NOA1: Jul 24 2013

Transfer: Jan 13 2014, transfer to "an" office and Jan 14, 2014 transfer to "local" office (we haven't received the hard copy yet, so don't know where to)

    MSC 1391 55x xxxx

Anything else I could be adding?

    smile.png

Welcome to the forum. Hope you find some answers to your questions and support while you wait. I've added you to the July Spreadsheet to track cases that are transferred. If you have any corrections to make, let me know. See my signature to spreadsheet location... Good Luck.

  19. I wouldn't hold back on asking for a supervisor at this point. Tell them that USCIS is giving different answers each time you call, so you rely on their written notices only at this point which states they have to process within 60 days of transfer... Grr... I getting angry... serenity prayer needed. Get a service request put in, note down service request number... Later on email the USCIS service center with that request number....do all you can.
