  1. here it is Wednesday again...

    my 11 month mark.

    Beyond PISSED at this point

in 4 days BOTH of my petitions will be beyond normal processing times... but nobody seems to care at the USCIS.

If anyone has any other ideas of who I can contact... please throw all your suggestions my way.

I am really sorry LoveMyTico to see you still not approved. I keep checking on this thread to see if you've been approved.

Have you contacted Donald neufeld, the associate director of service operations? email is donald.w.neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov

In the email I would very clearly include all the conflicting information you are being given for your service request (include the date, request number and response). For example, state on such and such placed a service request, got this answer, and then on this date, got this answer, which does not add up. Give him a list.

I am so frustrated for you. I would even state at this point that I am being given conflicting information and it is seriously making me wonder if anyone knows where my file is, what is happening to it, or someone has lost it and is covering up, buying time, because it makes no sense that you keep getting different answers and no progression on your case. Tell him that as an associate director of operations for all centers, he has the resources to look into what is going on and cause such poor service on part of agents giving such conflicting and confusing responses. the very least you deserve is clear accurate response to why your case is being delayed and how much longer it will take.

I really don't think it will hurt your case. He is a higher up. the very least, you know you're contacting an email with a person behind it.

I am praying for you today....

  2. Yesss it really worked out wow thank you sooo muchhh.

so have you get visa number yet?

My route is different and I am doing an adjustment of status within USA, well actually am doing a conversion of an old adjustment of status (employment to marriage)...it's in my signature. kinda confusing... So am not sure how mine will go from here on as my case is a bit unusual...no given path out there listed. But all is well...

I hope NVC has picked up for those of you on to next stage...

and come on.... I mean for other approvals...Let's see some more today!!!

  3. Anupras thank you so much for emailed, So I emailed them yesterday without wasting time as you said and guess what

On March 5, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Glad it worked. Made me happy to see this today...

Would be happier to see more approvals on this thread...

  4. What did you include in the email? what request should I ask for?

Basically for me I included my receipt number, name of applicant, name of beneficiary, PD date, date of transfer and to what service center. The content for mine was unique to my case. I emphasized that I was confused calling customer service due to the conflicting information and just want to know what is going on. I stated I did not have a service request as customer agents refused giving various answers (wait 180 days post transfer, not outside processing time, couldn't confirm location), etc. I stated that due to all the agents seeming confused I had no option but to rely on written supplemental notice stating I would hear in 60 days. however agents are ignoring my concern...I asked if it can be looked into, is it going to be further delayed and if so, how long. Stated that I am sure he has resources necessary to look into what is causing these delays as all we want is to figure it out and how long. I did not vent about other people's stuff being approved before mine.

    Next day I was approved.

Stress on the conflicting information you've gotten for your case, stress on service request responses getting varying answer or no answer/delays, stress on the supplemental 60 day notice you got with transfer, stress on confusion being created for you. Stress on how agents are being rude and indifferent, and create more confusion....

  5. When sending the email in the form of letter, make sure you send it tomorrow morning around 8 am. Sending the email tonight may put your email on the bottom of their email list due to the several emails they receive daily - you want to make sure your email is at the top when they open their email box.

Edit and address the letter to fit your situation.

Be sure to copy the following:

Donald Neufeld (Associate Director of Service Centers Operation): donald.w.neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov

    SCOPSSCATA@dhs.gov

    OLUInquiries@dhs.gov

I hope some good news comes soon!

    I emailed Mr. Neufeld too..

Anupras where do I get the email for NSC for director so I can give a shot and see what response I get

I emailed the above only...I believe he is the assistant director of service operations for all service centers, NSC included...Good Luck.

  6. LoveMyTico, personally I think the congressional liaison is BS. If I were you, I would send the letter in an email to the TSC email address to Mr Roark, Ms Barrows and the TSC chief of staff.

My file was touched the next day after I sent my letter and approved four days later.

I hate the stupid statement of "Although assigned, we cannot predict the date on which the adjudications process may be completed."

I agree... I also got approval next day of sending similar email to assistant director operations...

My talks with congressman offices have not been pleasant....

  7. OK I am so tired of the mixed answers I get from the USCIS... a few minutes ago I get the following email to answer my service request for being out of normal processing times.

We have received your service request and researched the status of your cases.

Based on your inquiry we have reviewed the status of your case, Form I-130, MSC1390961343, and found that it remains under active examination under extended review and this has caused a delay in processing time. This office acknowledges the completion of your case being outside of the normal processing time and realizes the inconvenience it may cause. The delay has been necessary in order to ensure thorough processing of your case and provide you with the best possible service. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a definitive timeframe at this point. USCIS will notify you if any further information is needed from you or when a decision has been made.

Based on your inquiry we have reviewed the status of your case, I-129F, MSC140108402, our system indicates that Texas Service Center (TSC) just received this file on February 10, 2014 from Missouri Service Center. Processing timeframe for I-129Fs once received by TSC is 5 months.

    Thank you,

    XM1329

    Immigration Services Officer

    USCIS - Texas Service Center

now this is the email I received from the Senator's office on the 18th of Feb

Thank you for your Tuesday, February 18, 2014, email on behalf of your constituent, Ms. XXXXX XXXXX, regarding Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative and I-129F Petition for Fiancée.

USCIS records show this case is in transit to the unit where it will be assign to an officer. The background checks have been resolved, therefore a decision or some type of action will be made within the next 30 business days.

I am leaning more towards believing the Senator's office due to Tier 1 & 2 being clueless. and this is the response I received after I questioned who is telling the truth.

I realize this is stressful but I trust the latest update from my liaison at the Texas Service Center. They are adjudicating both the I-130 and the I-129f per their correspondence to me. I have no reason to believe my liaison would not be telling the truth. In addition, customer service is not always able to see the full updates on pending cases; Congressional liaisons do have access to the full files though. In addition, when cases get held up due to security checks or requests for evidence, the processing times posted are no longer applicable.

I keep checking in here to see if you and others are approved yet as my heart goes out to you and the pain you must be going through.

Have you tried emailing the scopsdata email (let me go find it). I also suggest emailing Neufeld, donald.w.neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov as I think he is assistant director of service operations for all centers. I know for me, next day I got approved. I know another person emailed for not getting their RFE and the runaround and emailed...they did get a response and RFE was sent. I hope you try. Just say in your email you have created multiple service requests and the responses are very confusing as to what's happening...that some say extended background checks going through, some say completed, some say with an office, some say will be resolved in X days...that you simply want to know what is going on and how much longer it will take. In brief, tell the confusion is being created and you do not know who and what to believe any more.

I am praying for all still waiting. I pray something happens for you and others really soon.

  8. I hope all remaining July filers get their approvals soon.

    praying for the same...

For those that are near 60 days mark since transfer, email your local service center. If you have a service request already filled, include the number. If not, tell them you weren't able to create one as USCIS agents don't create one giving your confusing different answers about needing to wait another 180 days, that they are not sure where file is, if transferred, or that they say the 60 day notice means nothing and to go by the date posted on USCIS website and as such saying your case is outside processing times...but you rely on the written notice more since all agents seem confused and give you different answer.

Keep up updated on how that goes. Praying for all approvals to start kicking in.

  9. I contacted my senators, ombudsman, and CSC. Now just waiting for an answer. Will also contact congressman. Thank you all so much for your input and help you gave me!

I know many shy away from emailing Mr. Neufeld as I mentioned above as one worries about impact on your case. I did too. I don't know what worked for me but it sure did not backfire. I emailed the service center and few days later followed by emailing him, next day was approved. I do think it's worth a try. In your case, there's a RFE on the line and possible denial.

  10. I would do two things besides contacting Ombudsman and congressman office...

    It can't hurt.

Email California Service Center explaining what happened. csc-ncsc-follwup@dhs.gov . Include your service request number from before on Feb 6. Explain the confusion is being created by agents you speak to since then on phone saying you have to wait two more weeks to follow up and you are worried that this will cause delay responding to RFE and possible denial. Ask them to please look into it.

Email the assosciate? director for service operations of all service centers, Neufeld, donald.w.neufeld@uscis.dhs.gov basically similar to what you send to California service center.

    It can't hurt...Try it.

  11. I don't know if this is a passing thing for you or not, Dude. I've regretted making the decision to move back here. I've apologized to everyone involved more than once. I don't know how I would have dealt with it if we'd been apart in the beginning of our marriage. At this point, knowing that you're probably dealing with clinical depression, I would not cancel the process. You're not in a good frame of mind to be making massive life-altering changes. Stay the course for now, please, get some help, from someone, and then reassess your thoughts on the situation. Depression can wreak havoc on your thought processes. But I wouldn't make any decisions until I knew I was in a better mental and emotional state.

Oh, and btw, I don't think that a Christian marrying a Muslim is that big of a difference or a big deal, unless you make it one. It might just be a cultural thing? I don't know. From my outsider perspective, it's the same God, just a different form of worshiping Him. As long as you can both refrain from claiming your way is the only right way, I really don't see why it should be a bone of contention.

Just ditto on what Kaylara said about inter-religious marriages. Hubby Christian, me Hindu. It's the same God. It is doable with love, respect, understanding, and compromises.

Depression robs you from being able to view things same as others. Like glasses...you can't even trust yourself anymore. Your self esteem takes a toll. You feel like the bad person you are... Would you really want to make serious decisions when you can't view life/situations the way it really is. please reach out for help. I promise life can be much more different.

  12. Dude...

I haven't read through all the pages, so if I missed out the most current, I apologize.

Clinical depression is a killer of all joys. Been there and experienced it all for a long long time. It robs you of so much in your life. You are not in right state of mind to make life decisions like marriage/divorce. What you really need urgently is to get help from a psychiatrist/therapist, maybe both. For those prone to depression, a process as complicated, stressful, as sponsoring your spouse, can take a real toll. I would just advise you to take care of your being by reaching out for help. Life can be full of joy and you will make clearer decisions when it's not all foggy you know. Please reach out.

  13. Thank you very much PSV57...its good to always see you come back to check on us.

Pls pardon my brevity.... Sent from my mobile device

Being approved does not mean I disappear. Will always do what I can to check up on everyone, update spreadsheet, share what I know, and to press for changes/attention to this whole messed up legal immigration system.

Well now that I managed to log back in after having locked myself out of my account for a few days lol...sleepy.gif
