I received an email stating that I can expect a reply by Feb 23, 18!

Well, I'm kind of confused!  
 
Two service requests and nothing!?  

I've put in two e-requests and haven't had any response - via email or physical mail.

I received the same email and got my approval text next day. 
I think being adjudicated means it is almost there. 
 

Did you mean to post this on the September forum? This is the August one.
 
 
 
Adjudicated is just a fancy word for "judged/decided" - we can't determine from that information where your application is. What this message is supposed to mean is that your file has been assigned to an officer to decide (instead of sitting in its box) and that you should hear something in the next month and a half.

I just talked to an immigration officer after talking with a call center agent from USCIS (since the call center agent transferred me to the immigration officer).  
 
According to him, they have extended my status for one year from the expiration date of my 2-year Green Card.  
 
He suggested that I make an InfoPass appointment in July if I don't have my 10-year Green Card since the process could take 1-2 years.  

Trust me, I have been very grateful for what this country has offered me, I had to apply for 601 waiver just to take care of my two petty minor misdemeanors that rendered me as inadmissible, and this country gave me a chance, I was able to prove that I am a good moral character and i was able to obtain my conditional green card. However, being a LGBT person, it wasn't our fault that we could not get married until 2013 when Supreme Court gut Defense of Marriage Act that allowed LGBT people to receive federal benefits, and also we were able to get married after Prop 8 was tossed out by SCOTUS as well, but I didn't complain, we played by the rules and we are waiting in line like everybody else, but my spouse is already 89 years old, and we have been together for 20 years and could not get married until 4 years ago, is it our fault? NO, it was the society and public's view on homosexuality that were reflected on policies and laws that discriminated us from doing so, but I am very grateful now that this country has marriage equality nationwide. I want my husband to see me become a citizen but he is already 89 while we have been patiently waiting for 751 to be approved. We don't take anything for granted, but we have come this far and I believe have earned it by playing by the rules like everyone else. But it is understandable if people complain, that doesn't mean they take things for granted, it is just voice and frustrations due to our broken and inefficient immigration system, and there's also fear of what this administration can do to immigrants like us that you need to take into consideration. Sense of "entitlement"? I don't know if you are a Republican or a Trump supporter, but many Republicans talk this way about the "entitlement".  I do have a problem with people who support this administration and president, they have been proven a dangerous White House that is dismantling the government and reversing everything Obama did out of personal and political vendetta in the expense of all Americans and even legal residents. Trump was elected into office, that is what Americans people want, but his anti immigration stance and lies scare immigrants like us. Quite frankly, I don't understand how any immigrant would support a president who thinks of himself as a dictator who hates immigrants and constantly lies and listens to whatever Steven Bannon tells him. Anyway, don't mean to drift into politics, I am just saying that it is ok if people are frustrated after waiting months and months and still don't hear from USCIS, it is human nature and it has nothing to do with entitlement or anything else. Thanks for letting me rant as well. I hope we will get approved soon. 

It is not that the people here are freaking out. It is because we have come so close the the end of the major chapter of immigration. And people want to get that "OFFICIAL" permanent residency. Of course, unless you have committed a crime since you got your conditional green card or you really didn't file properly, we should not have anything to worry about except it is frustrating to wait for the approval. Of course life goes on, if one doesn't get his or her 751 approved, 9 months, 10 months, 1 year, 1.5 years, USCIS will keep extending the applicant's conditional residency until they approve it, so it is really not bad except the wait. but it is "UNDERSTANDABLE" that people get frustrated after waiting for 10 or 12 months and seeing the processing moving forward so slowly and yet there is really nothing much we can do to expedite the process, so the frustration and freaking out are normal, it is just that sense of being a "CONDITIONAL" resident is really not 100 percent being a permanent resident without any conditions. Everyone's situation is different. I am married to a man I have loved and known for 20 years, it has been a hard fought battle since LGBT couldn't even get federal benefits until 2013, and my spouse now is already 89 years old and one of my biggest dreams is for him to see me become a naturalized citizen to a country we both love. Knock on wood, my man's health is pretty solid considering his age, but he is not getting younger, and we have been waiting for the approval for 9 months and a week, and there's no way of knowing how long exactly it is going to take for USCIS to even move forward because it seems extremely slowly this year around, so in my situation, what if my spouse gets sick and he is gone when my case is still pending? Do I start all over again? It is the uncertainty that haunts us, and I have heard N-400 is just as backed up as 751. So it is not just "What's the big deal?". It is a big deal to us, of course we want to get our approval as fast as we can so i can apply for 400, and it might take another year and how old is my spouse going to be? 90? 91? Trust me, I am very grateful that at least I am not one of those undocumented immigrants who is facing fear of being deported every day, but my fear is personal, and it is not our fault that we couldn't get married until 2013 in California. So anyway, I have been as patient as I have been because I know there's not much we can do except wait, but we won't rule out contacting our congressman in California just to see if he can help us since my spouse isn't getting any younger. Just need to put things in different perspectives. Good luck to those of you who have been waiting. I believe we will all be approved, just hang in there and be patient. Let's see what the update of processing times says in a few days.

When I submitted AOS packages, I divided the package in three, so I sent 3 packages in ONE envelope.
1 package for I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status,

1 package for I-765 Application for Employment Authorization 1 Package for I-131 Application for travel document Every package with the corresponding papers for each application, I put a paper clip in each one, so they were visible divided. I didn't mix any document together, so I sent one copy of our marriage certificate for each form (so three in total)

I haven't gotten any updates to my I-485 at all. It is still in "Acceptance" but my lawyer says it is perfectly normal.

I am getting very worried now. Still didn't change. Did you every had an initial rEwiev for your gc? Or it just changed from acceptance to interview? It's more than two weeks after my fingerprints date appointment and about 3 weeks since I did early walk in...

I have been tracking filers from other months pretty closely everyday and by the looks if it, the applications that were received by the USCIS between the 16th Jan to 23rd Jan are getting acceptances this week. So, taking into consideration that there are nor RFE's involved and USCIS is satifsfied, people who applied in the first week of Feb should start getting EAD acceptances starting 2nd week of April. So after 7th April we should be seeing some acceptances hopefully. Fingers crossed. Everyone keep posting about any changes in your online case status and all.

until after April 15, the most recent tax is 2012, not 2013, so as long as both of you have 2012, you'll be fine
