  1. This really sucks. We wait seemingly forever for a NOA2. When we finally get it, her passport and DS-160 filed, she gets online with the Embassy in Manila only to find out there is no availablilty for appointments!!!! Grrrrr! She checks every day. She e-mails and receives courteous replies telling her that there are no available slots for fiance interviews. Our approved K-1 application expires July 19th. Are there any Pinays encountering similar situations out there? What happens if there are no "slots" by July 19th? For the love of Zeus!!!

  2. I've kept up with everyones progress, although until now stayed silent, I wish you all the very best in your journey,

I regret I will not see mines happily to the end. I'm withdrawing my petition

The same thing happened to us on our first petition. The length of time it took to process our K-1 took such a toll on our relationship that it strained both of us. So, I withdrew our application voluntarily. Then, about 6 months later, after a long back and forth plus another visit, I reapplied on November 1st and we got our NOA2 on March 20th.

Our condolences. If it is meant to be, it will be.

    Please take care.

  3. Post Decision Activity

On March 20, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).

YAY!!!! Finally, TSC came through. With a NOA1 of November 5th, we finally got approved. Thank you all for your moral support. We made it through with patience even though we had frustration seeing others getting visas with NOA1's in January.

We are Happy, Happy, Happy! dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

    YEAH!!!!!!

Our NOA1 was November 5th. Way to go TSC. I knew you could do it.

We have both been so patient, yet frustrated seeing January filers already getting visas. But, TSC finally came through. Thank you all for the moral support. WE ARE SO HAPPY!

For those of you still waiting, it will happen. Have faith and patience.

  5. Here's hoping this will be the week for NOA2...!!!!!

I hope so too. We've been NOA1 for longer than you. The only time I called in, they told me to wait until 5 months had elapsed. For us, that means April 5th. There is also a very long wait in the Philippines for interviews. The only thing I can say as the petitioner is that I love Cecille and will wait till hell freezes over for her. Such is life. Good luck to you ERE&RVV!

  6. Greetings all Nov. filers!...I've been following the threads and just thought I'd post my recent activity to help ease any worries about TSC approvals. Thanks all for so much usefull info and keep hope alive for all those still playing the waiting game. You're days of joy are coming! God Bless us all who've comitted to endure this process!

COME ON TSC!!!! RA RA RA! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

And everyone who already has their NOA2, congratulations! But, please stop whine-ing. Our NOA1 was November 5th and we aren't complaining. No system is perfect. Gazillions of people want to come to our country. So, the next time you complain, look at Australia, for instance. Or other much less desirable countries' policies regarding immigration. I'd say the good old USA, even with all its warts and zits, is doing a pretty darn good job considering 75% of the people in the world would move here if they could.

My two bits from a good ole Southern Boy.

    NOW GO TSC!!!!! I believe.

Got a text message at 9:45 PM, actually while I was Skyping with my fiance, so it was awesome to be able to share that experience at the same time biggrin.png

Thanks everyone for the really great support so far!!

Praying that the rest of the process goes smoothly (crossing f

Now my fiance and I are praying for everyone else that is still waiting!!!

  8. Awesome! Congrats on getting approved!

I know it's easy for me to talk, but I do remember feeling that way. Hang in there, you two (or four, really smile.png ). It WILL happen, I'm absolutely sure. *Hugs*

Congrats to all that got approved. Yes, it is frustrating. Our NOA1 was November 5. We have heard nothing. One phone call and told to wait until we hit the 5 month mark. Oh well. We are in love and patient. This is the hardest part of the Journey. Hopefully, she will be approved soon.
