I never liked the way he conducted himself as a mod, but given that he has done nothing recently to deserve being kicked to the curb, I have to say this is yet another example of the mod team's cruelty and capriciousness. I agree with everything except that last paragraph NB. For whatever reason T-Bone has led the charge in moving our so called "off topic" thread out of CEHST and into OT. I'm not sure why, but it makes me think he has an axe to grind with one or more of us. He even got into an argument with one of the organizers, Marylin, when she attempted to move our thread back to P&R a while back.

What do you mean things would go south in a hurry, in the forum, if Teddy's thread had been allowed to continue ? Pestilence, diseases, hookers ruing amok in the streets? I personally don't see how one thread, in which the regular members are allowed to talk about current events in their life could bring down a forum! Don't you think that is a bit of an over dramatization to try and back up, another firestorm, created by one particular Mod. Especially since the OP was polite and from the start asked, to please leave it in this forum. Seemed like a simple enough of a request from a very active member of this forum.
I am pretty sure I could go thru this forum and find 10 or 15 more threads very quickly, that are less pertinent to CHEST, than the one Teddy posted.
Seems like the simple enough thing to do, would have been just to move back it back after several members complained. Problem solved. Everyone would have been happy, it would not have impacted the board in anyway, and you would have had a very active thread, which generated a lot of traffic. No more time needed for Mods to have non "knee jerk" meetings.
I was in the management/leadership game a long time. It's obvious what is going on. However at some point punishing the troops, by refusing to correct a questionable decision by a junior leader, under the guise of solidarity of leadership will back fire on you.
As Teddy said, we all get along better than we ever have, with the exception of one or two trolls, we are like family here. As I commented to Teddy, how can you insult a man after you have discussed double deep fat fryers with him. LOL. I think the friendship and mutual respect in the forum has blossomed, because the mods backed off a bit and allowed us to iron out our own differences.
In closing, You may have moved the thread yourself. I believe that. However I also believe that if Teddy had asked you in a polite way to move it back you would have, and made some funny comment and moved on. That is why you are generally respected among our members and others not so much.
