  1. On May 7, 2013, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

Does that mean i may get an approval soon?

  2. Hello Chami.

This is a big long way, because the process it is so long, after the Noa1 approve it is at least 6 or more months to wait,so we need a lot of love and patience in this, in my case we still waiting our Noa2 and ii is 5 months and 6 day waiting,so ,it is so stressful but we have to do this for our love be with us, at least we have this amazing group support.take care and keep going!!!dancin5hr.gif

wow i feel for you guyswow.gif

  3. Hey, its good that he cares so much!! My fiance is useless with paperwork and getting things done on time, I wish he'd be on my back a bit more about this! Its going to be difficult for both of you but the key thing is communication. Make sure you let each other know how you're feeling to keep a strong relationship. Include him as much as you can with the whole process so that he knows what's going on too. You guys are in the same boat as everyone on this website and in the end it will work out for you too smile.png Its a tough journey but definitely a great experience for both of you and a chance to see how strong your relationship truly is! smile.png

Please don't get too stressed, try to find something to occupy your mind.

  4. definately but sometimes my fiance is not making it easy for me, i swear he be stressing the hell out of me for little things, if i'm tired i go to bed without texting him, the next day he will send me a text a i see u didnt send me a good night text, and start giving me attitude when i ask him, whats wrong ooh i see u not into me any more like ####### really

  5. You're right. The only reason things are so difficult before PoE is because you both have to do this alone. Being together will take away 90% of the stress. If you can conquer all this time apart, then a little paperwork and a few exams dealt with together are nothing happy.png

The distance definitely drives you insane though blink.png

you right once we're together the stress will be less

PATIENCE - this is the key. As long as you know that you did what was right, followed all instruction, nothing to be stress of. smile.png

  6. Although there's AOS and ROC after this K1 process, I think the stress will be less because you will be together smile.png That's how I've managed my stress--I think that the 3-4 year process to citizenship (if he chooses to do it) will not be that stressful because we'll be together and spending the time together rather than miles apart as the K1...

To keep the stress down: check your email only once a week. I used to do it everyday for 2 months then, just decided to give up and wait for the snail mail... I didn't even know NOA2 was on its way until I received the notice by mail. It was a happy day and I was not stressed one bit while waiting another 2 months for it...

good.gif its just so hard! i gotta stay away from my email kept checking it every 5 minuteslaughing.gif

  7. Yeah trust me it's only just begun. Best thing to do is just keep yourself busy and keep yourself organised!

It's even worse that plane tickets are so expensive- you need all the money you can get saved for the wedding and the fees that are involved with this.

So I would say try to see your fiancé as much as possible to make it easier but I know how difficult it can be when you have to save money dead.gif

This process is definitely a good test of how much you love your fiancé haha! There is soooo much waiting involved

OMG! its crazy, i've been looking at price tickets and its ridiculous, i don't know if its because american airline made that merger the prices r ski high.....I really wanna go see my baby its been 5 month since we saw each other.

  8. when u filing for the k-1 visa u do not need to send ur fiance birth certificate, i am getting my papers ready and will be sending next monday waiting for my fiance to send me his photo passport and his letter of intent marriage and the g-325a form thats all u need from him for now.....he will need his birth certificate in haiti....i was gonna do the same thing too get his birth certificate translate until i found out i don't need to send it with the package

  9. i had to get mine translated last year, i used this guy he is in NEW YORK and i live in Pittsburgh all i had to do is fac him my extrait archive he translated for me, then i paid him over the phone he mailed it to me the same day express mail and got it two days later....i'm not sure if u want to use him but he did a good job for mine, u can contact him at 212-864-3075 on Monday, ooh and i was charged $40 for it

    are you filing i-129f?

  10. Um Yeah... look through the timelines because I looked through about 30-40 of them... I Never said that everyone that filed in July- August has issues, I'm talking about those who have received NOA2s in April/March seem to have RFEs. Whereas, those recent NOA2s that are from Oct/Nov/Dec.. don't seem to have RFEs. It is what it is... Look for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

you are absolutely right i have notice that too

    Congrats!
