you can file for citizenship after 5 years of having ur green card, you do not have to wait for 10 years
-
The number is (603) 334 0700 but its a bit too soon to start calling, start calling friday usually they receive the case within 5 to 7 days. Once the case gets fowarded to haiti, email them to request packet 3. On the haiti portal, underr the Pap consulate info link u will find their number n email
Thank you so much Mrs. Prince

So if we sent it to Lewisville with USPS express mail we did the wrong thing? Oh no...
What if we get it back, you'd suggest sending the same stuff to Dallas instead?
Are you sure it can be tracked either way?
i sent mine with usps express to lewisville i did not have the problem
File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):
USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266
Send it here, USPS priority and it will have a tracking number.
this address is when u sending the package regular mail without tracking numberr
As stated here

Too late... especially because I read

on the USCIS web site so I thought I would have been ok. What if he gets everything back? Can he just use another envelope, change the address on it, send it to Dallas instead? Would he have to change all the papers in it that have their address on it (cover letter, fiancè intent to marry...)?
FREAKING OUT HERE.
this is right when they say other courier meaning ups, fedex or dhl

that is only when u sending it regular mail, if u send something express to a po box who will sign for it
-
You don't know that. They're a sorting facility. They'll look to make sure if everything's right and if it isn't, they'll reject it and send it back. If everything's okay, they will forward it to the correct service center. You sent it to the correct location, so that can't be why. It's time to start investigating other possible reasons.
actually uscis will accept the package then go thru it and see if everything is correct, if the fee is incorrect then they return it back to the person
-
If there was nothing wrong with it, they would have accepted it.
Most of the time when something is returned to sender, or rejected, there is something wrong with the package and that's usually the fee. Again, do you know if the check/money order was made out properly?
How can it be the fee when uscis didn't even accept the package
-
did u send it regular mail or did u express cause i sent mine out on the 25 and got a response from them 5 days later
if u did sent it express did u get the confirmation that someone sign for the packages

It is not specific to Hati. CSC went 8 months without processing a single I-129. Now CSC is approving at hyper speed to get caught up. Visa approved in less than a month are for expedites. Very hard to qualify for expedite.
if u go look at haiti timeline u will see most of the i-129 were approve within a month or so from csc and a few months for vsc and they are not expedited, i had two people that file after me got approve because they were at csc in 15 days, apparently csc is automatically expediting haiti
Applications are automatically expedited for Haiti.
I thought the expedite would be the same for both service centers - that's weird that it's different. I'm sorry, OP.
yeah it really sucks i realized that yesterday when i was looking at the haiti timeline, someone file right after me got approve within 15 days from csc don't know what the hell is wrong with vsc
-
I just notice something on the Haiti timeline apparently CSC approve the k-1 petitions for Haiti faster than VSC.....CSC approve the k-1 petition within a month or less were VSC people have to wait for months before they get approve it is so frustrating that really sucks which my petition was at CSC right now maybe my petition would have been approved by now
-
Yep we are in the same boat when i first saw the email about the alien number changed i thought an approval was follow but its been 12 days since i received that email and nothing else
which service center are u? vermont or california?
-
Nothing really they just assign ur fiance an alien number thats all, when did u send ur application
-
I'm just hoping it doesn't take the whole freaking 5 months or more
-
So we are pretty much on the same boat!
Yes we are its nerve wrecking lol
RECEIVED HARD COPY FOR NOA2 BUT CONFUSED!
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
In the letter it states that my application have been approved and was forwarded to the listed consulate, it doesn't say anything about case being forwarded to NVC.......i am so confused cause i thought it normally tell u that its transfer to NVC
