Wow I've been sending these people email for over 3 weeks now twice a day and nothing

mine says the samething last update was on the 7 of august when i called visa specialist and they told me that my packet 3 was mailed out on the 7

If it is in AP then there is still a chance to be approved. Otherwise they would flat-out deny it.

I forgot to mention that she want to apply for a marriage visa after getting married, so she want to know if that's possible to do while the case is still showing AP

My friend fiance recently went to an interview and the CO didn't think it was a bona fide relationship so my friend fiance got the form 221 g, but when my friend check on the CEAC website it showing that the case is under AP, so can she go and get married while the case is showing AP OR does she have to wait until the embassy send the case back to the us.....I appreciate any feedback thanks

I would not hold my breath that your fiance will receive Packet 3 mailed to his home in Haiti. They said the same thing to me, and it has never arrived (since April). I've heard the same from others. Thankfully, Packet 3 arrived within 2 weeks (via USPS not DHL) to me. They would not provide me any tracking information. About a week later I also received an email with Packet 3 attached (as I had requested initially). Don't give up and continue to ask for it. It is difficult to get through to the embassy, but when you do, they can they received your file and on what day they mailed Packet 3. Good Luck!

I called DSL in PAP trying to track the package but it was useless. They said you need a tracking number to track it from Haiti sender to Haiti recipient. We are in the same situation, waiting on the package to be delivered.

Been calling embassy for the past two weeks until yesterday i was told that they couldn't locate my case, however i just spoke to a visa specialist and i was told that packet 3 was mailed to my fiancee on august 7, the specialist told me not to call this freaking people at the embassy cause 9/10 they don't know what they are talking about.......so finger cross hopefully it doesn't take very long for him to get it....

CO just think the relationship is not real, these people really piss me off how the hell they are going to tell you if ur relationship is real or not

Oh, I see. My mistake for not reading properly. Their case will go back to the NVC now - the CEAC status is somewhat useless to know what's going on.

How recently did she have her interview and at which embassy?

It's normal for CEAC to show "AP" for a couple of days after approval - in that case it just means "paper shuffling" and will switch to Issued once the visa is applied to the passport.

If it's been AP for more than a week or 2, then it's likely the other sort of AP that takes an indefinite period of time, and means there are further background checks occurring.

at NVC they got immediately the case no. and also my papers arrived there AUG5 .. i will call later this afternoon again..

yes the wait time is horrible, its weird that u can't get ur case #, and its there thats crazy

and i call then today , she said the paper's just arrived in there building aug 5 but she did

not give me a case no. over the phone.. she said i need to wait 10=20 days..

Every time we call NVC we wait in hold 15 minutes, I think this is normal time to wait for them

It can take up to a week, cause i got my approval on the 14 and got my case # on the 19, so just keep calling i'm surprised u getting a busy tone...what number did u dial

wow since July 18, i think u should have ur fiance go to the embassy with a copy of noa2 and the nvc copy letter, to see if he can get it or keep emailing them

Thank you so much i just call that number and gave me all information i needed, the lady i spoke to told me that my case is in haiti the electronic version but they are still waiting for the hard copy so the embassy can put it on the system

Relax... it'll come and they'll reply soon. Last week had holidays in Haiti and the Embassy did close.

Just get all the forms ready and when you receive the letter you can do the medical quickly. Good luck :-)

I honestly thought being at this stage would have been quicker, its bad enough we had to wait for uscis to finally give us NOA2, but now i call every day and embassy still doesn't have my case yet......ugh that is so crazy , ooh and i also email them pretty much every day and no response also....
