It feels like forever! At first I was going to move to Haiti, but we decided Florida would be a better place for us starting out. I go to Haiti every 3 months to see him and I stay for about 3-4 months at a time. But now that I have a great full-time job that I love and I can only stay for 1-2 weeks at a time when I visit. I can't wait for hime to come here and experience another side of my life in the US. ya know!

  4. I sent my I-129F package to the USCIS facility in Lewisville, TX 2-DAY UPS last Friday, March 22nd.

It was delivered by UPS on Monday, March 25th and I just checked my bank account this morning (March 28th)and the check was cashed.

Does this mean that they accepted my application? (which was 187 pages long by the way)

My fiance and I have been together for 3 years and I sent everything I had, western union receipts, phone records, cell phone top up receipts, borading passes, etc. lol ;o)

May God bless the efforts of us all in our journeys. ;o)

  5. The interview was a piece of cake, what I did was I downloaded the questions and answers in MP3 format and loaded them into my iPhone. I was listening to them and that helped a lot. if you get the same office he was really nice and very casual. I was freaking out about the interview too but it went really well!

nice hope mine goes smooth, so ur interview was in the south side too?

  6. unfortunately they do not! but if you get approved in time you will for sure be scheduled for April 19 that will be the latest you can be scheduled.

there was another guy who had the interview on same day as me and he had his ceremony today. He received the oath letter last Saturday for a following Friday ceremony. Once I receive my letter I will post the date. good luck on Tuesday!

i just found out my appt is on the south side 3000 sydney

thanks i'm kinda nervous right now, how was ur interview was it hard, my appt is at 8 30 am, it would be nice if they have the same day interview in the north side

  8. I just had my interview there on the Feb 28. I took a tons of documentation with me, the IO didn't ask for a single document that I brought with me. He asked for my green card and drivers license and that was it. He then went over my N-400 application, asked me the question at the end, you know defend the constitution, I then signed it and put my initial. We then moved into the questions, he had me read one question, then write its answer that he read. After that he asked the other 6 questions and wrote down the answers. and that was it. Then he said that I will receive the oath letter in the mail.

As far as I know Pittsburgh doesn't offer same day oath except for military people. The odd thing was that at the same time I had my interview there a ceremony going at the same time. since your interview is on April 15 you will miss the court house ceremony which is held every 3rd of the month (April 19) my guess is if you pass and get approved you will be scheduled for May. Good luck.

hey did u have ur oath ceremony yet

  9. Hi guys. I understand that this post is going to be very discouraging for some. At the same time, I feel that my experience thus far needs to be shared. Maybe it will give some hope??

I applied for a K1 Visa for my fiance in Haiti. It was mailed on February 11th 2013, and then we recieved our NOA1 on February 20th, 2013. We just recieved our NOA2, stating that our application was approved on March 11, 2013.

I do not know why we have been so blessed. I feel unworthy of this fast pace, when I know there are so many others out there that have been waiting so long to be be with thier loved one!! Praying the interview goes as smoothly....this can't be real!!!

Omg i got tears in my eyes, wow you are so blessed i am so happy for you, i hope for now on everything go very smooth, congratulation
