a lil review please. about questions asked and docs. Thanks

    Merci!!!

I actually did not send anymore evidence with him to the interview i told him to take just the documents that was giving back to him from haiti messenger and a picture i gave him when i was 16, he didn't even needed them. The CO asked him mostly about my job the type of work i do, the co asked him to describe my job, also asked him how long we knew each other he told him since 2004 the co asked him why i waited so long to come for him, my fiance tried to explain that because of circumstances we broke up in 2006 and got back together 2012, the co was trying to trick him because i was down there in Haiti for a year and a half i came back in September 2005, the co kept asking him she came back 2006 right my fiance said no, the co said again so she came back 2006 my fiance said no then the co laugh, after that the co told him wow you guys had a lot of chats and stuff hell yeah we had about over 1000 pages of chats and phone logs maybe more lol, he gave them back to my fiance and told him that he was qualify to go pay the visa fee and that he must married within the 90 days and the visa is good for 6 months.

  3. You're welcome Chami! SO excited for you!!

He technically has 6 months to enter the US. However, they will mark on his passport the date he should travel by (on a sticker on top of the cover). For my husband, the visa expired on August 19 but his travel-by date was June 3.

The 90-day starts on the day he enters the US. They will stamp his passport with the date and his I-94 will expire on that date as well!

ooh i see, i'm planning for him to come on the 17th of October, and was planning my wedding for December 28th so that will be within the 90 days... I am so happy!!!!dancin5hr.gif

  4. You can contact them by email to request the reason why you are on AP. Often, you may be required to submit more documents. So, I recommend writing them today to find out. But a lot of the times, you do not need to do anything. Administrative processing often lasts about 90 days, but in some instances, it can take several months or even longer. So let's pray it doesn't even take a month! Praying for you!!

Wow so it can take that long before visa is issue? that's crazy
