That seems to be a Canadian doctor, will the same apply for Indians? According to that site, I only require DPT, MMR, and influenza.

In the generic i864 instructions does not say to use CAPITAL letters. Is this only applicable to i864W?

I think the List of Approved Panel Physicians for Mumbai consulate was posted by Bkghosh. What I want to know is, is it the latest instructions? Do I need to take all of these immunizations?

I don't think I will need the oral polio as it does not apply to me and I got chicken pox as a child, so I won't be needing the Varicella vaccine. Also, I think the hepatitis A+B is the same as hepatitis A and hepatitis B.

I just got off phone with NVC and was told that my case is not available?? my case was approved 2 February and received on 10 March . still no case can someone tell me that normal or there is something wrong? ????

Appointment is NOT required for PCC.

There was a circular released by passport. GOV saying appointment not required for PCC applicants. All psk have to abide by that rule.

Now the waiting begins. Found a one way ticket to Bangkok for $ 694

How long will the PCC take from the day he goes in?

Does he have to wait until his appointment or can he walk in and see if they will take him? (we have heard mixed stories, some say wait for appt others say you can walk in from 9-11am any day)

I am just worried that the PCC will now delay our NVC step and I want things to move ASAP!!!

Worst case, we do not have the PCC, can we send in the IV packet without the PCC and state on the cover letter we will bring it to the interview?

I suggest you should FAX NSC, since they would not take beneficiaries call.

Send the fax with both of your names and email addresses. I know the fax to TSC but sorry don't know NSC. My petition was stick Ayr TSC for 30 days and when i sent a FAX i got transferred to NVC and also received email directly from TSC.

I was told the beneficiary can't call USCIS. Anyway, I will try calling USCIS. Can someone tell me how to get to a tier 2?

I called NVC today over Skype at 7:30 a.m. The first time I had to wait 15 minutes and the call was answered but no response, then the call ended. Second time I called and was answered in 12 minutes by a very nice CSR, Jean. When I gave over my USCIS receipt number, she said they have not yet received my case and I need to wait 8 weeks. I am concerned whether or not Nebraska sent my petition to NVC, but I am relieved to not have got a rude person on the phone and feeling good about it. Also, today I sent the supporting documents to my husband so that when the time comes to send them in, he can send them and they reach in a day. I still think it's better to use I864-EZ if you qualify to use it.

All three of the following are true:

• You filed a Form I-130 petition, for your relative
• There is only one applicant on the Form I-130 petition, and
• All your qualifying income comes from a salary or pension and shows on one or more W-2 Forms that you receive

You might be eligible for i864, it may reduce some of those questions.

Filled out the 260 last night for the most part, not submitted yet as my wifes passport isnt back from the mail yet. Would it be helpful to people if I took screen shots of it or does that already exist somewhere?

Yup! Hubby went on the 12th at 11am....spent 4 HOURS in the PSK they cancelled his existing passport that day and he had the new passport in hand at 6pm on the18th with the updated address and my name added as wife! We were both completely shocked that it was so quick! Now he is waiting for his PCC appt hopefully that will be as quick as this!

Yes the officer in psk is authorized to issue passport with out police verification, and the verification will be done later, but there's a catch to it, if the verification is done later and result is negative then the issued passport could be impounded and Render not valid for travel. But in your case that is not a problem.

Pcc should be applied from nearest passport seva Kendra of your residential address.

PCC is given after verification from your police station near your house if address has changed from that in the passport.

Call NVC and they will tell you for Mumbai of its acceptable not to send original pcc.

Also when did they give you only one copy? They have me 2.

You will get the passport only after police verification is complete.

PO box may not be acceptable to Embassy, they want physical residential address.

If the relocation is within a city, you can rent PO BOX and use that as a mailing address. That will help you to avoid changing mailing address.

Indian PCC issued by passport office does not Indicate marriage status, I am sure the same format will be used by your PSK too.

The PCC does not have this but he needs to add his wife's name using a reissued passport.

When you show them NOA2 - which has your relative's name on the petition - the staff at the PSK will force you to add her name.

Without his wife's name, there is no PCC.

No IV complete.

No one in passport office asked me for any additional document from USA. ( NOA2 copy was not asked and I did not show them)
