  1. Ok Thanks for the pointing out how to get that SR number.

Only few people like you know what to do others on VJ have a no clue except irrelevant blabbering.

When you call the National Customer Service Center and talk to the Tier 1 or 2 they put in the service request and then give you the SR confirmation number. So the service center is probably asking for this number and I imagine you can only follow up with them if you don't get a response within the time frame given to you by the Customer Service Center (usually 30 days).

  2. I got this automated response from TSC service Centre.

Does that mean they will not look at my email because i don't have SRMT number, what is the use of sending email to TSC ??....

This automatic response confirms receipt of your email inquiry or message.

Keep in mind this email box is not for obtaining any type of Immigration advice and is only to be used for issues with cases at the Nebraska Service Center. Please use this means of inquiring only after contacting the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 and receiving a service request referral number. If after 30 days of receiving a SRMT number your issue is not resolved, the NSC, NCSC Followup staff will try to resolve your problem.

Please ensure that your email inquiry contains the referral number and all of the necessary information to identify your case, including your complete address. This will allow us to respond to your inquiries timely. If the National Customer Service did not issue a service request please indicate the reason.

If you have not first contacted the 1-800 number and obtained a referral you may not receive a further response.

    Nebraska Service Center

This is the automatic response i received from NSC after a letter to inquire the status of my case. the e-mail ad NCSCFollowup.NSC@uscis.dhs.gov.

    Did anybody else receive this?

  3. As for the expense is concerned , we i130 filers have paid USCIS with our petitions : $100000000

Went can't they use this money in an efficient way. It's ridiculously huge amount. Where is that money going?

Without knowing why CSC is so much more efficient, it's difficult to propose a working solution. My guess is that the staff at CSC are better trained and/or have a lighter workload, or perhaps more of the staff there is dedicated to I-130 processing than at the other centers. Adding new staff to CSC would require hiring and training, or else relocating individuals who are already trained. Either of those options would take quite a while to execute in addition to being prohibitively expensive.

  4. The below can be modified.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have 2 pending petitions (I-130) for my parents (*****and *****) that I am requesting a status update on. The receipt numbers are MSC*****XXXX8 and MSC*****XXXXX9.

The priority date is 3/28/13 and the petitions were transferred to Nebraska on 11/14/13. The NOA of transfer letter stated that if I had not heard anything in 60 days of the case being transferred that I should contact the service center, thus the reason for my email.

Please provide me with any information that you have on this case. As I am sure you are aware, the separation is very difficult from my family, but I am saddened as my 4 year old daughter desperately misses her grandparents and cries herself to sleep at nights. My parents are additionally missing out on seeing my little newborn daughter growing up.

    Thank you kindly in advance,

  5. Since the transfers are not equally distributed, ot would make more sense if we see percentages of approvals each Centre does:

    Statistics for March FILERS:

    NSC approvals percentage =74%

TSC approval percentage = 42% ( TSC is soooo behind in March)

    CSC APPROVALS percentage =86 %

    -------------------

    Statistics for April filers:

NSC approvals percentage =34% (NSC is soooo behindin April)

    TSC approval percentage = 62%

    CSC APPROVALS percentage =82 %

    --------------------------

... forgot to provide some important data, here are the number of NOA2 approvals by service center for those 200 "normal" petitions, according to our timelines:

    California - 71

    Texas - 47

    Nebraska - 41

    Vermont - 1

    NBC - 40

  6. You were transferred to which place.

    Update your time line .

Congratulations to all of you who got approved happy for you guys :) i am new member to this forum

i applied my i 130 in June and my priority date is 10 June 2013 on (27-DEC-2013) i checked my case status changed on uscis.gov that it has been transferred to a local office and then after 3 days i received a hard copy stating that they were experiencing delays at National benefits center and has moved my case to Nebraska service center and if i do not get an update on my case in 60 days i should call on the given number

so any June filers here ???? or any one else who can guide me if its a good sign to have been transferred to a local office (nebraska service center)

any sort of advice would be high appreciated

    thank you :)

  7. Only the applicant , sponsors can call.

    Since you r beneficiary u can't call.

Sooo, after repeatedly telling my husband to tell the attorney to place a service request and the attorney not obliging and also my husband's reluctance to place one, I have decided to place it myself. Most probably tomorrow I may get an all-night access to a PC. As suggested, I will use Skype to make the call. What I need to know is what to do after dialling the customer service number. Can anyone guide me step by step on how to get my call transferred to a tier 2?

  8. 1.Affidavit of support need to be from person working currently in USA on date of interview.

If in foreign then file through DCF route.

    2. Sponsor Spouse should show intended place of living as USA.

On interview day the officer may ask : where does your spouse work.?

And we should Always reply the truth.

I Would say Better to get in touch with attorney

  9. They just created a new city for you.
What I don't understand is weather this new city "seoul , Turkey" lie in turkey or Korea?
May be they can answer during next Aila conference in 2014 jan 30th

Anyone still waiting? We received an RFE several weeks ago, requesting our marriage certificate, even though we had already provided it. Also, they had this glaring issue of stating that we got married in Seoul, Turkey. In case you don't already know, that place doesn't exist, they combined our marriage city, Seoul, Korea, with my husband's country, Turkey. This is so ridiculous, even our lawyer doesn't understand exactly what they have gotten wrong. He resubmitted our marriage certificate, and still we haven't heard anything. This is so terribly frustrating. I just want to move forward with our life. Uggghhh.
