The day my status changed to AP was actually the day the Consulate sent out P3. I didn't even realize NVC had already sent the file to the Consulate.

Just got a text that my interview has been scheduled!!! I'm in the NYC office. I'll be checking my mailbox every single day now... 

Just had my oath ceremony. It was from 9 a.m till around 11:00 a.m. It was very orderly and wonderful.
They also gave opportunity to take photos with the county officials, which I thought was great. 
Here's how it went . 1) Get certificate ( to inspect everything is correct ) 2. Return Greencard/ take back certificate after verification 3) Sign the back of the OATH letter 4) Get info on Social Security update 5) Go to a different room to register to vote. 
10: 30 a.m = Oath Ceremony and Certificate distribution.
My problem is I did a name change . So I have to do a lot of updates from DMV/Social Security/ Work/ Bank and various other accounts. Hopefuly that's it. Going to be nice.
 
 

I got the interview letter. The interview date is March 7. My I-751 was approved on January 12th. I filed my N-400 June 2017, and I had an interview for both the I-751 and N-400 on January 11th.
 
The interview letter I received made no mention of the I-751, and there was also no mention of my husband being required to go to the interview with me. He went to USCIS with me, but the AO said he could wait in the waiting area.
 
At the interview, the AO didn't really ask me questions about the I-751 other than telling me that he's never before had to deal with both applications for one person at the same time. He skimmed through my I-751 and told me he saw no issues. He said that I will not receive my 10-year green card, but we filled out an affidavit so that I have something to turn in at the oath ceremony. The interview questions were geared more towards the N-400 application.
 
As of right now, my case status still says "Received", so I don't expect it to change. All in all, I'm glad that I applied for citizenship while the I-751 was still pending.

Spouse had the interview today in downtown Los Angeles.  Everything went well and the officer recommended the application for approval.
 
Arrived about 30 minutes before scheduled interview.  We waited about an hour to be called.  It turns out cell phones are allowed everywhere, so I had to go back to the car to get our phones.  The interview itself took about 20 minutes.
 
Went over the n400 application and answers.
 
U.S. History / Government Test:
- If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes the President?
- Name one branch or part of the government.
- We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?
- What did the declaration of independence do?
- What does the President's cabinet do?
- How many justices are on the Supreme Court?
 
English Test:
- Read - When is Columbus Day?
- Write - Columbus Day is in October
 
We brought passport photos, but they ended up taking new photos there and didn't need them.  The officer was extremely nice and helpful.

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but I came back from Greece yesterday with an extension letter and decided to ask the immigration officer himself about it. Since the expiration date of my letter is in 15 days he made a comment saying "you barely made it", then I asked him is it by the card or letter, then he said letter at first, BUT then there was a senior immigration officer standing right behind him, who corrected him saying " what are you saying it has always been the card" so guys there it is right from the horses mouth, expiration date on your letter is the expiration date of your card! 

You can still follow this thread and set your subscription to just one email per day or per week. That way, you're not getting an email for every reply.
 
Just go near the top-right where it either says "Follow" or "Following". Click on it, and then select either:
-One email per day with all new content from that day
or
-One email per week with all new content from that week

I think the services centers go through cycles. CSC has generally been faster than VSC, but it runs into speed bumps every once in a while.
 
I remember CSC came to a halt for lots of applications when all of the DACA applications started getting filed. At that time, Vermont just kept trucking along, and everyone that filed at CSC wished their files were at VSC. People were also talking about class action lawsuits, starting "We the People" petitions, and contacting their representatives and the ombudsman. I think the pace at CSC was over two years per application IIRC at that time, and it lasted for months. It was unbearable for a lot of people. Then all of a sudden, CSC just started approving applications at lightning-fast speeds. It was like they never stopped at all.
 
It feels like the same thing to me now, and I don't believe this pace will continue for much longer.

Update: We called today and was transferred to a Tier 2 ISO. The wait was almost three hours, but we weren't going to hang up.
It turns out the notice was indeed for the biometrics appointment, and the appointment date was February 20th. He wouldn't resend, but he did put in a request for a reschedule and told is to wait up to 30 days from today to receive it in the mail. I guess even if he did resend, we'd be past that unofficial 30 day grace period anyway.
Here's hoping for a successful reschedule and no more mail problems in the future.
