Hi
is anyone an Atlanta filer here? it seems Atlanta is one of the slowest. I completed my biometrics in early December and no update yet.Hello Estrella i'm an atlanta filer.
Please see my time line below. However, even though i got the approval, they haven't yet updated the website, neither have i gotten a ceremony date as yet.
The lady did say it would take about 30 days to correct the error they made of having two different profiles for me.

That is great news....chin up!
Side note: was the question What is the Constitution? or What is the supreme law of the land?
Only clarifying because the IO cannot go off route with the questions as they have been printed on the paper.
Good catch.. What is the supreme law of the land was the correct question .

Two profiles, that's weird! (or maybe it is not?)
Anyway... that's awesome! Congratulations!!
I know right! They messed up by leaving my middle name off at the biometrics. My application has all names but the biometrics didn’t , as a result two profiles are showing listed for me somehow in their system. I guess it’s not an easy fix as now I have to wait up to 30 days for it to be corrected. Thanks!

Love the timeline, that’s incredible. Was your case estimated completion time always the same from the beginning?
Thanks! It was August 2020 then changed to July 2020 after the biometrics.

Hello everyone, my interview was completed today.
However, even though I got the approval, the Uscis made an error and they mistakenly have two profiles for me so they need to link both of the profiles together. Once completed they will send me the oath ceremony invite which could take up to 30 days.
There were a lot of people there today and I got to my appointment at 12:30 but the time set for the interview was at 1. I didn’t actually get interviewed until 3pm which took about 30 mins.
Questions asked:who is the senator for your state?
who is the Vice President?
what is the capital of Your state?
how many voting members are there for the House of Representatives?
What is the constitution?
what is the rule of law?

Interview set for October 3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will update timeline tomorrow, I'm using my phone
about time.. COngrats!!
-
I'd say...You can expect to get an interview date some time this week otherwise the first week of September...You'll probably get an October date as I think September slots are already filled for the UK.
-
it all depends on if you Adjusted while in the usa or consular processing... If consular processing... it can take from 6 -10 months before you get your NOA2...it really all depends on whose desk your file ends up on..Hold tight, you'll soon get your NOA2...It took me 8+ months before I got my NOA2...meanwhile just start gathering all the stuff you'll need for the NVC stage..
-
Your Fiance can go himself.. it only takes about 5 to 10 mins...ask for Officer Evelyn and tell him that you need to get it back for the US Immigration...and he'll get it the following day...
-
The Transcripts have all of what's needed... no need for the w2's

Does it makes any sense contacting the DOS about this checklist?
I believe you should, it's worth a shot.. On the instructions manual for the new i-864 I thought it said.. if it doesn't apply to leave it blank... therefore, stuff that didn't apply to me. i just left blank!!

I am crying right now!! I was just about to call the NVC and I got the email! September 16!!!
Awwww... Congrats!!

Hey Everybody....I got my interview date for Sept 9 @ 9:00am... received the interview letter yesterday... called on monday and they didn't have a date for me as yet...
-
I wonder if it's because of all these student visa appointments as well as regular b1/b2 apps is the cause of not many interviews for the CR1/IR1 apps for the month of august!! Oh well the waiting game continues.. will call the NVC next monday...

Update regarding the below issue i mentioned back on 1/15/20.
I submitted an inquiry on 6/17 on the uscis website and they sent it over to the Atlanta office for review.
They reviewed it and then stated that it was still within the processing time.
However, I received an approval on 6/26 and on 6/29 my interview was scheduled for 7/14.
I'm excited cannot wait for this to be over.
