  1. If she has any documents related to work or education that may be needed here.. bring them.. it may be too late to get certified copies of things that may be needed in the future, but if she has them now they can be translated if needed in US....

oops to clarify.. this was not specifically for POE but for her leaving VN...

yea, thanks. I have like 10 certified copies of every original documents and translation so Im pretty much set for the future. Also, try to get all your documents translated in Vn, much cheaper than in the US

you get documents translate in VN is useless.

the translator have to be certified here in US.

who give translation certificate in VN ?

  4. I went to Vietnam once before the Interview, but I did go back before the submission date. The reason I could not go back was work related. I did submit a email from work saying that I could not use my vacation any time soon. But I have had 2 trips there. I understand their worries about one person having one trip, but as I have said in the past not everyone is independently wealthy. I have a job that pays 45k and with the current economy it is hard to find such a job and without a job, you will not get the visa. So one trip is what most people can get. When I went back I did risk my job, but I told them that she needed me and she was what is important. I am still feeling the back lash from that trip, but it was worth it to be in her arms for another week. Here is out second blue slip

your sheet is green, look better than blue. you should get pink soon.

if they give you white, it worst.

you have a change to get in the consulate and talk to them ?

come in and ask them face to face, request their explanationtion, come on jerome fight your your rights, fight for your love.

  5. This was a place I go to everytime I am in Ho Chi Minh. Its my favorite food there. Fried rice and shrimp.

That pic reminds me that I miss those cold hand towels here as well...

I miss everything that is there, even the crazy people on the motor bikes!!!

I don't miss that one street in Ha Noi that has people selling nothing but Thit Cho... whole roasted or various cuts.. I walked down that street so fast to avoid the sheer volume of options available for sale that they probably thought I just stole something... I'm used to seeing one or two here or there...

And I have to ask.. Has anyone eaten the "blue chicken"? I saw it first in Sapa and here's a picture that my son took...

"blue chicken" is ga` ac, the best of chicken. if you eat ga` ac then you dont want to eat normal chicken anymore.

ga` ac usually alot more expensivw than normal chicken

  6. thit ran, thit chuot, thit cho an rat ngon, american can't find these.

So ve vietnam ma khong an may mon nay la uong tien ve may bay do.

the best food I ate in vietnam is this special part from the female pig and it's the breast. The place where they sale items for those drinkers. They tasted so good over a low grill. I also enjoy all of the seafood over there and the food that my mother in law cooks. She made the bomb azz mam me and ca keo chien. Oh man, 1 more week and i'll be devouring these special items again. hehehehe That's just a few items. Gotta get off work and will post more later.

    my mouth is all watering.

da an vu heo roi thi khong the bo qua vu de duoc.

    happy eating

  7. anh tien,

your story very very good even great I ever seen. but I have some ver hornest susgestion:

    1. the more you wrote great time line the more suspisous cause: this will reflect the oposition of background between tien and anh ( anh >< tien : background)

    2. you come to US since 5 year old ==> your culture >< anh's culture, try to made it clear or foget it dont include it in.

    3. time to know each other too short.

    4. detail in story sound like made up story, try to skip some unneeded detail like kissing( this is not vietnamese culture may reflect the different between you two, try to act vietnamese girl dont act like american girl)

    5. clearly describe why you love him(not just he take care of you at something, state the beauty inside his heart)

    6. clearly describe how he love you ( not because you are USC )

    7. avoid your bacholor degree if he is not MS or PHD( you are young , beauty, well educated, if his condition is not good as yours dont put it in)

    8. try to made some typos, grammar error ( the perfect ussually well repared and made up )

theese are just my opinion, I may be wrong.

    good luck,

  8. Vietkieu dont choose Cave, but they dont know the backgroud of girl and marriage by mistake.

did you ever heard college student sell herself 100-200 usd ? you will never know. you just know that she is college student.

did you ever heard that "gai mat xa" che viet kieu ? she usually made $1000 a month in vietnam. she said that if she can do her job and can get marriaged in vietnam she won marry vietkieu.

it is really so sad, the VC now much richer than vietkieu

  9. I dont think we can do anything, the CO gave blue slips they have their reason. they tried to help USC, in my case I'm very angry at them but I think they are right, they are training to prevent fraud.

I see some viet kieu comeback to vietnam marriage his wife which was a cave ( gai mat xa, gai vu truong ..) , some girl while her husband come back to US she sleep with other guys even used his money spend over other guys.

about american ? they dont know anything about history of a girl oversea, 100% of them are for green card and money.

I'm not mean all of them, only about 30% are true love, the rest are for money and green card, and dont for get one small but it exist they say " lam di bon phuong chua mot phuong lay chong" .

those girl are innocent, they just want to make money for their family, because their is no job in the country for them to do or the job overthere not made too much money.

they destroyed the beauty of vietnamese vomen.

  10. I write letters to her in Vietnamese language. Also, other documents such as receipts, church documents and certificates, as well as letters from priest are in Vietnamese language. Do these also need to be translated into English? Or does HCM accept or allow for Vietnamese language documents to be submitted.

Also, anyone who communicates to his fiance in Vietnamese language, what did you do with Vietnamese-language documents? Which ones, if not all, did you submit in Vietnamese? Which ones did you have translated?

dont be silly vietazn, the only thing you need to translate is marriage license.

they even dont read your letter, if they want to read they have translator over there, the CO can read vietnamese also.

the process is simple dont make it too complicate

  11. Did anyone see the dates are different on the bluesheet? On the English section it says 25/8/09 but on the vietnamese translation it says 2/9/09. What's going on there? Can anyone explain?

look like they use the same form and put the date in but forget in vietnamese part, they send my wife a new sheet with correct date.

one more thing I have noticed that my sheet is green bot blue, I see couple sheets the blue usually have "we do not believe the relationship is husband/wife...", the green does not say that. mean the green sheet is more closed to pink.

any one have a clue about first requirement in my sheet ? it is very confusing, I used only income from my W2 and 1090G file jointly with my wife with her W7 attached.

I guess they see my tax return file jointly but did not realize that the second person in tax return is my wife so tyhey request I864A ?

Was your 2007 income below the requirement? Did you include recent paystubs and a letter from your employer in your I-864 submission? Did the CO tell your wife that they want you to have a co-sponsor? That may be why the first item on the blue slip is there.

you almost get the point Anh Map, I get very low income in 2007 and I did not include it in the I-864 ( it may cause nagative, and they dont reuire 3 year of income now). every american know that it is very hard to find job in last recent years. I'm living in a highest unemployment state.

I included last 6 month of paystub ( direct deposit slips)

So the point is they dont asked for cosponsor, they asked for each household whose income used to sponsor my wife have to file I-864A, but the Income used to sponsor my wife is only mine.
