My advice -- show concern to the embassy for your fiance/e. My wife is a decade older than I am (I was the petitioner, she is the immigrant). I emailed the embassy a lot asking a lot of questions, and they told her how much I worried about her and how much I cared about her. Little to say, she flew through the interview.

You will have to call and keep calling as much as you can until you get through to someone with control over this situation.
I am not personally familiar with this situation, but I have read about them. For example, someone was denied, but their fiance in the US called the embassy and managed to negotiate a second interview, in which an approval was given.
My personal plan for my fiancee's interview is that if it does not go well, call and beg until I get a second chance.

I know it's really hard to do this, but may I suggest for those who worry about this in the future:
Spend as much time with your loved one as you can in their own country. I don't mean a couple week-long visits -- I mean a year or more.
Why do I advise this? I lived with my wife for two years in Mongolia and knew everything about her. I knew everything about her family. When they came to the U.S., I knew exactly what I was getting, and there have been no problems or surprises.
People have jobs and it's hard to leave them, but I would suggest you do. Leave your job, find one in your love one's country. Spend a lot of time together. THEN, decide to get married.

Do I fear him? You bet!
Do I fear you? Absolutely not.
I wouldn't group you together at all. He's a career criminal, and you (from what I can tell reading this board) are an intelligent, normal guy, but you just happen to be the same or of similar race.
One would think anyone could tell that there are bad apples from any ethnic background.

No worries. Who needs healthcare anyway?

With markings that look like a bushy moustache and green 'mankini' coloured legs, the resemblance is uncanny.
A software engineer has snapped this picture of a spider that he claims is the spitting image of fictitious Kazakhstani television presenter Borat.
Anand Joshi, 24, spotted the tiny arachnid as it scuttled towards his front door in the Indian city of Bangalore.

He immediately grabbed his camera after noticing the likeness the spider bears to Sacha Baron Cohen's comedy character.
As well as looking like the protagonist of Baron Cohen's controversial 2006 film, which grossed more than $260million at the box office, Anand said that his friends have been comparing the eight-legged creature to aliens and other Hollywood movie predators.

A man having sex with a child would be something harmful to the child. A man having consensual sex with another man isn't harmful to anyone. The child's right not to be raped should be protected, and the man's right to choose his sex partner should also be protected. People's rights not to be beaten up, raped, and stolen from should also be protected. Sin has nothing to do with it.

In the end racist people are the biggest losers. You lose friends, smiles, and times where you could have been happy but was not because you were too busy frowning at that person with the dark skin color that did nothing wrong to ya.

If one of my kids were to be gay, I don't care. It's much more important that my kids are happy than that they follow cultural norms.

If your kid was bi-sexual, could he/she come half-way into your home?
