Still waiting for the stupid noa2 (((((((((.... How many more days shall we wait!!!!?????!!!!???
11 pm is soon approaching, it seems alot of approvals come at that time of night...
Hang in there, we are all still in this boat together...
-
Thank you for your advice and helping us to plan but really no one in this thread wants to hear about NVC at the moment as we are all still eagerly awaiting our NOA2 now.
Thank you for giving us some forward thinking but really everyone is already aware about the bottle neck at NVC and im sure we will all have questions at a later date but right now this waiting is enough.
thanks
I agree Azsara...thank you for putting in words for what i was trying to say...
-
Good luck to all, hope you all get approvals soon.
Like Angelina said though, prepare for another big wait as it seems Texas is just dumping a pile of NOA2s in a big box and not shipping any to the NVC!
We are on a positive way of thinking now, please no downer messages.........
-
Alot of us are still waiting with you....................

And the status did finally change:
Post Decision Activity
On June 28, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E).
Guys, please stay strong and believe that it will happen. I am happy yet not too excited at the same time knowing lot of you are still waiting who had NOA1 date before me. Our NOA1 date was Dec. 18.
Please be patient and contact the Senators or Congressmen if you have been waiting for more than 6 months in total. I did not contact anyone since I was within 6 months time frame.
Also I got an e-mail for approval this morning at 9:01 a.m. I am sure there will be more approvals today.
I sure do wish I see lots of approvals for all of you this week.
Congratulations!!!
-
there was an approval today from vermont, not sure if he was transferred or not.
7 of the 12 no info" cases around mine finally all changed to RFEs, and also 1 new RFE was added to 2 numbers away from mine...
SIGH
-
Lets hope that we all get approvals this week!!!!!!!!!
-
Morning Folks!!
Well I can confirm none of the numbers near mine had any activity last Friday...or so far this morning but I think it's because they were prepping them for this ton of approval this week (Just a feeling).
@LAURACF
LOL Well that's a bit longer than we had planned for.... lol
We have a "tentative" date of Sept. 21 but that date is quickly approaching... as you well know. I just didn't want to do a Nov wedding.
We also were always mindful (I'm a Nerd who busies herself with probabilities, anomalies and subsequent often un-needed solutions.. lol but that makes me feel better if I have played it out 65 ways from Sunday) that it was not a precise timeframe or process so we are just playing it by ear. What we DID do was prep in advance...
I have all our decorations, linens, flowers and colors picked out and monitored for availability but un-purchased. Our venue for Wedding and Reception were both explained the situation in advance and we were allowed to be "penciled in with First Right of refusal" on both locations WITHOUT a deposit. Explain and ask... it never hurts to ask. :-D
Because we have handled the biggest parts in advance and have them at the ready; 3 months should work no matter when he arrives...
@ACAWAN
yep! Florida Born and raised here! Haven't ever been to St. Augustine but I hear it's wonderfully romantic! So I had been saving that trip for the "right Man" luckily he showed up! :-p and now I plan to go with my Baby.
Ahh Pennsylvania... very cool!
How yuns doin?? tee hee hee
Was in Penn near upstate NY when I was younger.. VERY beautiful!! Love the mountains, the shale and Artesian Wells... *sigh*
And yes Palatka isn't far either.. :-D
St. Augustine is very beautiful, but when i lived there it was just myself and my 2 daughters. But we frequented the "historic" district alot, as we lived a stone throw away from it!!!!!! I just really like Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's funny you say "yunz", when we arrived in FL and we talked, everyone knew right away that we were Pittsburghers!!!!!!!!! very funny......
-
Starting to feel a little stressed now with the timing... before we really knew how long this would take we set our wedding date for beginning of November. We thought 11 months would be plenty of time!!
But now it's July, that gives us 3 months 29 days to get our NOA2, have it sent on to NVC, then across to the embassy, to get packet 3 and send back everything, schedule medical, interview and waiting for the passport back. And that's hoping we don't get an RFE!! Starting to get very worried now - if I knew then what I know now... I guess there is nothing we can do about it so just got to hope hope hope for this week!
I, myself, have no definite plans for a wedding date yet. We knew that time was not on our side in this, so when he gets here we will get married, even if its just a simple ceremony and then have a big party later.
-
Either approval or rfe on the way, but definitely they are doing something with the case...
hmmmm ok. out of the numbers around mine there are 12 cases that say that, and the oldest one is from 6/18 and they all still say the same thing...isnt that an awful long time without it changing? just sayin...
-
Enigma----i used to live in St. Augustine...i miss it there...i wish i could go back and live there again. Are you a native Floridian??? Im native to Pennsylvania, but im fond of Florida, my Mom lives in Palatka, if you know where that is........
-
I have been wondering what this means:
- At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.
Does anyone know what this indicates???
-
@Charo

And every time I lean over or squat down in my regular jeans I'm Whale-Tailin... The other day I heard a buncha giggling and fast retreating... and was like awww daaayyuummmn AGAIN!!! (turned super red!!) If ya dont know what Whale-Tailin is google it! On third thought DONT!!! What has been seen.... cannot be unseen! and some Whale Tails are horriffic!

Damn Kohls Card and 30% off!! Plus I now have $20 in Kohls cash............
@ACAwan... Thank you for saying so... I'm just bein me... but its beautiful to hear I help and contribute in a positive way... I believe it takes the same amount of thinking, speaking and actions, to focus, believe in and act on the great things in Life as it does the not-so-awesome.... so if I'm gonna do the work anyway.... it may as well be the kind that makes me happy and life better... :-P
Very honored to be seen this way... Thank you.
Do you know the term "Namaste".....? if so
Namaste.
Your welcome..........im hoping for approvals for all of us this week.

Hi, my fiance is preparing for his interview in a few weeks.. he has his medical appt next week. Besides the interview letter, is there anything else he should bring? Thanks SO much, VJ!!!
oh my goodness, you meant what he should take to the medical exam??? i just gave you the list of what to take to the actual interview for the visa, sorry if i gave info that may have not been needed.
the actual medical exam im not sure what he should take...i guess thats something i need to look into also.

If i were you i would also take evidence of your ongoing relationship from the time of the NOA1 up until the interview date...
ok, here is the list that i have of what he SHOULD take to the interview:
1) the entire 129F petition that you sent in to USCIS.
2) all originals of evidence and anything else you sent copies of with the 129F.
3) an original current letter of intent to marry by both of you.
4) I-134 Affadavit of Support and all supporting documents
5) copy of the NOA2
6) proof of ongoing relationship from time of NOA1 up to the interview date. (just a few things, not much)
7) he will also need his birth certificate and 1 copy of it also
8) 1 passport size photo of you and 4 of him
9) his police clearances
10) and the packets he will receive from his medical exam
and of course the forms that he will have to fill out:
DS-156K---should be provided to him by the embassy
DS-156 also provided
DS-230 provided
I also read that it is best for him to create an account at www.usvisa-info.com
before the interview.
this is just what i have read that should be taken, i am NOT the authority, just a humble VJ'er trying to help.
1. All applicants must appear in person for medical examination
2. Original Valid Passport
3. Two photocopies of the passport data page.
4. Two recent photographs as in the same format as for the US visa.
5. Letter/Document from the National visa center/consular section stating visa preference category.
6. Any previous medical/surgical notes and prescription for medications (if any)
7. Fee for medical examination in Pak Rupees or in US dollars.
For latest fee and medical information click below:
this is for the country of pakistan, she needs UAE info, in which i provided in the other post.
-
you must take the originals of everything that you sent in with the petition .....that is in case they need to verify anything again. i made 3 copies of my petition before i sent it in; 1) the copy i sent, 2) another copy in case first copy gets lost, and 3) the original set.
-
You aren't a K-1 petition filer so I guess this question isn't directed to you. The letter from the Embassy, specifically states to bring a copy of the I-129F, and pretty much everywhere else you read says to bring a copy ( see VJ guides, for example - and also I read a legal guide I got from the library that says the same). They don't give guidance on how to package it though. Also you are supposed to have a copy of the NOA2 as the other person above, stated. Maybe they won't ask for it, but don't want to be caught unprepared if they do.
Regarding the binder, that's why I was thinking of putting it into folders by major section rather than a hard binder. I just wanted to be sure that punching holes in it won't somehow invalidate the copy. I'm probably making too big a deal about it, and should just punch it and stick it in folders.
From the reviews that i have read here most of the paperwork isnt even looked at by the embassy, they only take the essential papers. you can take all of the papers with you but i think that the way it is bound is not an issue for approval or not. maybe just put it in a folder and mark the sections so you can easily get to what they will ask for.
just my humble opinion.
-
today marks the 6 month wait for our petition receipt...but you know what, its OK, because i know before the end of this year me and my love will be together forever.
-
I am talking about the adjudicators. Unless you talked to an adjudicator but I am pretty the person you talked was like one of representatives we talk to when we go to the local offices. They have access to all the information but cannot adjudicate the case.
In my humble opinion, maybe you need to not check in here daily for a few days and just see what happens, live your life as much as you can...go out and have a good time with your friends or something, or you can always go to Wal-Mart!!!!!!!
Just try to take this off you rmind for a few days and maybe you will feel better about the situation.
its inevitable that we will all be approved, its just a matter of when, and that will be soon.
Hang in there it will be OK. We are all in the same boat!!!!!!!!!

Im thinking that the service centers do not close down weeks for vacations...if they did that they would have to tell all of us that when we call into USCIS, and has anyone been told that the service centers will be closed for 1 week????
Even the Senators and Congressmans offices are open until the actual holiday...IDK, just my opinion!

Here it is.........
http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=1&visa=1&scenter=2&option=2&sortby=2
U can see who changes their timeline to NOA2. it updates as people update it in their timeline. For example currently we can see 9 people updated their timeline as receiving NOA2 yesterday on 26th. Looking at their NOA1 dates we can tell they were all Texas transfers. Some people have added to the RFE space they are Texas transfers, some dont bother. If you change the drop down to Texas, those that changed their servcie centre to Texas when they got transferred show as 3 approvals yesterday. So in total 12 people got NOA2s yesterday
P.S welcome to your new addiction
.lol addiction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Transferred file from vsc to Texas got touched today!!!!!!

im dec 28...
there are alot of numbers around my case number that today got RFE's, 7 of them. NO approvals though. but those cases showed "no info" message since 6/18.
Our approvals are coming, we just need to be as patient as we can be now. There is nothing else we can do.
