Guys!!!!!!! i just got an RFE.....how can that be.....my case had everything............maybe it is like for that other poster here who got the RFE and was approved the same day..............any comments????

@ACAWAN - It's all good... New Thread or following the Original thread doesn't bother me.. I like what i like and consider the rest just "Contrast" and "examples of how NOT to be" but as far as "repercussions"... If I lived my Life to suit everyone else .. I'd be a miserable heifer!! I believe and live by the creed that I owe it to myself and those around me to take care of myself and my needs first so that I can best contribute to their lives because I am already full-filled and do not place the responsibility for my happiness on the shoulders of nor at the feet of another...

And like AZSARA I will also be Out of pocket as I am going to visit my Fiance in the Dominican Republic... So I'll be away for the next week too!!

It's like you can see WHICH Workers are working and which are dragging feet.. Check the dates of approvals... 2 (I guess easy ones) same date then one per day for the week then it starts again.. lol but some seem to approve one of their batch every week or so... sorted by NOA Date of course. RFE's seem to come the same way

Occasionally it seems there are certain stacks that start or finish with ONE from one NOA1 Date but the rest are all from another too... Yes I'm a Nerd... Yes I am letting my Geek Flag Fly.. lol

thats funny that you say "geek flag", my sister in law sells "freak flag" online, they are just plain and you decorate it however you want. she gave all of us in the family one and i decorated mine with playing cards, scrabble pieces and i cant remember what else i put on it......but they are cool!!!!!!!

last nioght there was alot of activity on my list of cases that i follow, of the 55 cases there are only 10 left with nothing done to them...last night 11 of them changed. mine is of the 10 unchanged...

Any December filers at TSC still waiting approval? I'm a Dec 28 receipt with still no word on my case. I've tried doing a service request with USCIS as well as contacting the Congressman's office-no luck on getting any information about my case...starting to go crazy!!

im dec 28 and still waiting.......as i checked every case around me has either gotten approved or an RFE......mine has not been touched yet, except to the dreaded transfer of texas...ive contacted my congressman, still no word from them...ombudsman never got anything back from them. service request was a joke.

I just checked my "cases" that i follow, and out of the 55 K-1's there are only 10 left that are still in initial review(and mine is of them)

tonight alone there were 7 RFE's issued, 1 with no info, and 3 approvals. my oh my....i hope mine is soon, approval that is.................my date is Dec 28.

i think that there should be limited entry to certain posts here, keeping unwanted posts our of our little group...those folks are still in the same boat as us, just a different waterway now.(NVC)...but they are not upbeat like we are here...i was just reading some of it and it was quite depressing...not sure i will read that post after i get approved, maybe i will just wait the wait and see what happens.....any other people thinking that way??

And my congressman said that they automatically send the embassy a letter to help our case along the faster track, so really, i dont want to complain sooo much about things that are not even existant in our life yet.

What do you mean find a way to reach your senators now , after approval, we dont even have our NOA2 yet........you mean u want us to complain to our senators now about NVC?

I just dont get it...we dont even have our approvals yet and there is so much stress being put our way about things that are in the future for this journey, as i see it, it will happen the way it is supposed to happen. we will be approved when we are meant to be approved, and we just grow closer and our relationships become more strong with our loved ones.it is inevitable that we will get our approval and more than likely we will get our visas for our fiancee/fiance's to come to us. And yes, that is still in our future...we need to worry about just today, we cannot control tomorrow. that is just my humble opinion.

Yes probably either approval or RFE on the way. I have seen other people get weird status updates like name change or address change and then either the same day or a few days afterward it changes to RFE or approved. They probably just hit the wrong key or something and can't undo the status change once it's set.

dont want to be the bearer of bad news, but 1 of the cases i follow had an address change and 5 days later it changed to RFE.

But i have also heard of people getting that and being approved too...

so to me, it seems like a toss up......but congratulations, your case is being looked at!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on the top of the part where it says initial review and all of that, in blue it is said what type of case it is...

and it will say approved, or transferred in the lettering under that.

I would love to be sitting on the beach these days, it is so calming to me.........................

It was a beautiful day here also...spent the evening sitting on the porch swing enjoying the weather, talking to my 20 year old daughter about things we need for when we move and talked about my youngest daughter, who is 16, and how we miss her, as she lives with my sister 2 hours away so she could finish 19th grade in the same school.

My story is a big mess if anyone is trying to figure out any of it !!!! lol

We did go to CVS today and unfortunately there was no excitement in there!!!!

So we came back and sat on the porch swing some more...

As of today, of all the numbers i "track" there are:

8 approvals

18 RFE's

2 address changes

1 withdrawal

6 with "no info"

and 20 that still say transferred.

How can we see their numbers!!??? How cN i tell if someone got approved around my number???

When you type in your number on the USCIS site, i just type in the numbers before and after my numbers in order...i went back as far as i could to where i didnt see anymore K-1 petitions, which was 119 cases and 105 cases after my number.

I dont like looking at Igor's list anymore, there was a May case approved today........
