But some of the transferred people here got there notices in just a few days in the mail, approved the same time as the others. so im thinking that the USCIS system is tainted and needs revamped very badly, to make it a fair process.
And why did so many people get RFE's on july 3rd?? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
-
well, im in the first batch of transfers and it seems as if on wednesday, july 3, texas just sent ALOT of people RFE's...not liking that i received that dreaded email myself. But i guess at least my case was "touched".
You will receive notice in the mail about where your case was sent to for the transfer, so you will just have to wait for the mail.
Good luck to all...

Sorry for the confusion on my part earlier. There are some from Dec and Jan from 1st batch of transfers (may 24) that are still waiting. I did notice some movement on those yesterday. It appears the slow down on Monday was for training. It looks like they have more people working on our cases I-129f.
Appears that way, but it also appears that those being trained are being super cautious as it seems they gave just about every last one of us transfer still waiting an RFE yesterday................very surprised at that. my case was finsihed and solid, no reason for an RFE, in my humble opinion.

Last night, I was so thoroughly irritated about getting an RFE I thought I would just go get trashed. But better judgment prevailed and I chatted with my fiancee' online instead. She calmed me down, told me to just trust in God and be patient. She's right, of course. I thank God for giving me such an understanding, beautiful (inside and out) hearted woman who loves me enough to show me patience and endurance. It will all be alright in the long run. Thanks for you having this forum to share.
My fiance got me through the RFE yesterday too......we are very lucky to have such understanding and patient loved ones...they are hard to come by nowadays, or at least i think so.We will inevitably be approved we just need to be patient. well, i appreciate this forum also. GOD bless us all.

I think Katha means people that were transferred in May, as opposed to the second batch of transfers in June. Are there any of those left? Haven't been on VJ in a couple days and I was just checking in on you guys... I'm a little shocked how many RFEs there seemed to be before the holiday. Keep us posted on what they are when you get the hard copy. FYI, for those asking about passport pictures, mine were not the standard 2x2 size and we didn't get an RFE, so I doubt that will be it, but maybe some officers are more picky than others? Double check that you have letters of intent signed by both beneficiary and petitioner. I think that's a common one. Other than that, good luck to you guys!
I was very surprised to get an RFE also----every paper that had to be signed was signed and i had letters of intent from both of us and even the 325 was signed........just was not wanting an RFE...and i hope that they will get the notices out soon, some got RFE's 2 weeks ago and are still waiting to get the notice in the mail, i feel sorry for those folks.
this immigration needs revamped, and it needs it soon, in my humble opinion.

my photos are 2x2, but his are 2in high by about 1 and 1/2 in wide.
and his follows the inch head requirement, and mine is a little bigger than 1 inch/
so im just really wondering if that could be what my RFE is for......
or could be for..........

As i was looking at my duplicate petition that i have in hand for possible reasons why i have gotten an RFE i noticed(which i should have before) that the passport photos of my fiance are smaller than the ones i have for me.
So i did some research on VJ and USCIC about this and i found a couple of answers, but they are conflicting.
VJ says that the photos must be 2 inches x 2 inches with certain specifications for placing of the face in the picture;
USCIC instructions for the 129F just say that there should be about 1 inch from bottom of chin to top of head, says nothing about actual size of the photo.
so my question is which is it? and has anyone gotten an RFE for this and what was the requirement??
-
FYI: all the RFE's stayed the same overnight, no approvals. was hoping for some of these RFE's to be changed to approvals, there just seems like an awful lot of RFE's coming out of Texas....anyone else think the same??
-
i was just looking again at my petition that was sent in and i didnt realize until just now that my fiances passport pictures are smaller than the 2x2 they want. i guess that they are very strict on that, does anyone know for sure??

Thank you! Got the e-mail a while ago but wasn't able to get to the computer. So so excited!
On July 3, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
To those still waiting or who have received RFEs, I know this has been said so often but just have faith in God - it will come when it is time. I was at my lowest point yesterday and God answered. I will keep you all in my prayers!
God is good, God is GREAT!
Congratulations!!

awesome - maybe you are next! were those numbers showing RFE earlier today?
.unfortunately NO.....they were just transfers sitting and waiting..........
-
they are putting out approvals now, the numbers around me, there were 3 approvals since afternoon time today...............
-
and i have always thought ever since we found out that people had to be trained that they would be "cautious" in handing out approvals......so i guess we get what we get and will eventually be approved...........and when i filed these papers i knew it was going to take a long time, so me and my fiance have no concrete plans for our marriage until we have the visa in his hand and he arrives safe and sound.
but on the other hand im still trying to figure out what the RFE is for.........i just checking my exact duplicate i have here with me and everything is marked and signed.........

So darn many RFE's today on the Web. Has anyone ever heard of the webmaster punching the wrong code and it going from an RFE to Approved? I didn't get a text or e-mail as I did with my original NOA1. It was just happenstance that I checked the USCIS website.
I sure hope it is a mistake on their part not ours. I haven't seen a single day for us when so very many TSC tranfers got RFE's. Have you?
there were more than 10 RFE's that i tracked today and yesterday that are close to my number..........out of 55 cases 26 are RFE's....that just seems like they are just trying to show that they are doing something before the holiday.
-
Here is some FYI for those waiting at NVC and TSC. I also was a VSC to TSC transfer. No NOA2 yet, but close. I went ahead last week and sent my financials, W2, bank statements, Stock accounts, personal info to my Fiance..She lives in Ukraine. Today she got my packet. Guess what??? It had been opened by someone in customs or post office. Anyway now I am exposed to identity thieft. Looks like next week will be spent doing damage control. I suggest you scan these documents concerning financials and email to your significant other.
or hand deliver if at all possible, that is what i will be doing....then i will stay with my fiance for the interview and we will fly back to USA together...............
-
Just did a "last minute check" on all the number around mine and with the exception of two still stagnant petitions..
EVERY ONE of them now has an RFE...
Seems they figured out how to get around that whole "Out of Processing time" issue they had...
Maybe they just kick it back to buy themselves time...
i was just thinking the same thing........................to have us all stop calling them and especially over the holiday.....
-
No, only the USC birth certificate (or passport), not the beneficiary's one is needed. No need for affidavit of support either until the interview stage.
I only had the basic stuff in there that it says is a must on this site in the guide and got no RFEs.
Didn't send anything extra like proof of ongoing relationship or anything of the sort. Getting it together now for the interview.
Just the forms, letters of intent, and proof of meeting within 2 years (copies of passport, plane boarding passes, photos).
i sent in what you sent and just alittle extra proof of ongoing relationship............just dont understand why i got an RFE............i know, i know, stop complaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

@ACAwan & H_M Mine was the same sat and sat and everything around had something then my RFE came... It was me with the RFE last night LovenHope23 had an Address change that wasn't really changed that later became an Approval.
When I spoke with a USCIS Tier 2 Officer last night she did let me know that the letter had not actually been mailed yet (though the website says it was) and that it is possible that it may be reviewed by a Supervisor and the RFE may be cancelled and I could be approved instead but that she could not see what specifically was being requested.
When I prepared my packet I made two additional copies of everything (Per VJ I-129F Guide!! ).. Photos and all to have "just in case". I also obtained shortly after the first NOA-1 I requested a copy of the entire package that was sent to USCIS so i would have it on-hand as well.
I read her off EVERYTHING I had included and she agreed it sounded intact.
So here's hoping I will return to an Approved I-129F when I get back Stateside!!! And all our RFE's will be overturned before they ever leave the building!!
@Kari81 - I am pretty sure you don't need to include the Birth Cert of your Fiance but we did and also had it translated into English.
Good luck to us all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Approvals all around!!!!!!!

my case is solid too Enigma.......cant figure out for the life of me why i got an RFE..............well, at least our cases were "touched"...............i have 2 full copies just as you do............
-
I am, I really hope it'll be soon! Mine is the first in a set of 9 I-129Fs in a row and all of that set but mine and the second one have gotten something. Don't know why mine hasn't been touched yet
thats the way it was with my case too, everyone around mine was touched except for mine, then today BAM a stupid RFE.......almost 6 and 1/2 months and an RFE......my petition had everything in it that they asked for...........just dont know.......maybe my theory about the texas approvers was correct, they are new at approving and they wil give alot of RFE.........out of 55 cases i watch, 28 got RFE's...............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
-
THank you dear! Omg it was a dream.. Im still in shock.. I will pray for others to be approved
today i got the RFE email..................just racking my brain, what could it be, my case was solid and i just went over it all and i didnt see anything wrong or missing...i gave all that i had.
anyone ever hear of getting an RFE and then approved same day???
like the RFE was a mistake....
-
Glad to see that your cases are all at least getting touched and you'll be able to move on...still nothing here!
your time will come very soon.......................keep hope
-
no, the affadavit is for the interview, that is not needed now. i just dont get it, my case is solid, i sent in everything tht they asked for. well, at least our cases were "touched"
now my mind is moving a mile a minute about this RFE..............wht could it be??????????????
-
i believe it was lovenhope23 that got an RFE the other day and in the same day she was approved.......................my case is solid like hers, so im not sure why they put it at RFE......keep hope
