yes i am with you on that Angelina! the whole purpose of transfers was to get approvals faster...

  2. I just called the USCIS main number and was able to talk to a tier 2 personnel. I explained that my case was exactly 6 months outside processing time and had been transferred to god knows where. He looked at my case and said: "From what I see you should be getting a response about your case within 30 days; the next step in the process will be to send your petition to the NVC and then consulate where the consulate will contact your fiance with the required forms so that he can interview and obtain his visa. If you don't receive any word within that time call us back." Is this code for it was approved. I hope!!! He was really forthcoming about what were the next steps. Sigh, USCIS don't play with my mind here headbonk.gif For all you December 4th "ish" people, maybe the same holds for you guys. Just keeping our momentum alive!!!

There was someone in another post that contacted her senator and they told her that if she is not approved by next tuesday(june 11, 2013) to call them back and they will see why she was not approved yet...i believe she is around december 11, 2012.......

  3. I have a hot update!!!!!!

I just got off the phone with senator Blumenthals office

    Here is the story

They have been trained to take care of the 129 s they are on the floor starting the receding process meaning they are being checked that they are in fact transferred. .. So if you have received a letter it means they have checked you in the system .

Once and during this process they will begin to adjudicate the cases.... The shocking news is that there are 8000 cases that have been transferred

Here is other news I learned. That they do generally start a goal of 5 months but they also say that this can bleed into another month.... So you case isn't considered past the processing time until really 6 months .... She said that its good news that they are trained and ready to go .... Now it's a matter of the order that they are received . She wants me to check in with her next Tuesday . But she says its possible but not gauranteed that it could be process before then....,

Thank you, good luck to us all!

Your Senator is on the ball...unlike mine here in PA...

Its good to know that there are some government officials who do their jobs!

  4. Okay, so apparently my application was received by the Vermont Service Center. I got NOA1, December 31st, 2012 from them. This is odd, because I'm fairly certain I had sent it to the appropriate Texas Service Center. This is 6 months ago, and my mind is a bit fuzzy on the details, but looking back at some of the included letters, they are addressed to:

United States Department of Homeland Security

    U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

    P.O. Box 660151

    Dallas, TX 75266

So, I am inclined to believe that I routed my package properly, and am confused as to how it ended up in Vermont at all. None-the-less, today I receive in the mail an 'I-797, Notice of Action' form stating "they have transferred my case because the record indicates that office has jurisdiction over the case. That office will notify you of subsequent action taken on this case..."

I will definitely be calling their customer service number to request an update, and see if this will adversely affect my processing time... as it's been 6 months and I feel it shouldn't take but 2 months or so longer for this entire ridiculous process.

Has anyone had this or something similar happen to them though? How long did the process take once the correct service center received the application? It doesn't start my wait between NOA1 and NOA2 all over again does it!?

Was your case transferred back to Texas or where???

  5. I called my rep also, and they seemed to be slow at giving me any kind of response...almost like they didnt want to do anything about my questions and concerns...

Is it even worth taking time to contact the reps at this point in the game...

The cases are in Texas, and what can we actually do about it? I'd say nothing and just let the approvals come as they will...

    Just sayin, in my opinion.

maybe someone else can get answers from a more lively congressman...

  6. if your fiance didn't have an A# before and has one now if I'm not mistaken (I don't want to get peoples hopes up cause thats been happening a lot the past few weeks hopefully someone can either confirm this or say im wrong) but an A# usually means approval cant be far behind...

Could you please update your timeline to texas...maybe we can get the timeline somewhat accurate for us transferees!!!!!!!!

  7. My noa1 receipt date is jan 7 2013. I was transfered along with all you guys as well. Got home from work and opened a letter from uscis stating that i am now being processed at the texas service center. Got that mystery solved, now the big question is , how much longer do have before we get noa2? Im getting mixed answers. Tech support told me 88 days which puts my total time at 8 months. I hope they are wrong. Others speculate we should be seeing completions in a month or 2. Im trying to surrender all this to God. I hope all of our future marriages are made strong as a result of going through this trial, of which only those going through this understand.

Could you change your timeline to texas please.....you will see a change in dates for approval!!

and it may change all of our dates if everyone that was transferred changes their timelines!!

  8. I really hope you all get processed very quickly. I'd be bald by now if they kept moving me around like they are without much explanation.

I just wanted to let people know that the way Igor's list works is it figures all the people listed at a service center in a particular category (!-129F in this instance) and uses their past approvals to give an estimate for future approvals. Since TSC hasn't actually had many actual I-129F cases recently, most of the cases in the average for that center are based on people who never changed it when they filed at the lock box. I would say that the IGOR's list for TSC I-129F is probably not very accurate at the moment. As I said to start though, hopefully it doesn't really matter and that TSC has put you all at the top of their priority list. Honestly it wouldn't make any sense to transfer you if they weren't going to make your cases a priority. If they were just going to let them sit, they could have just as easily let them sit in Vermont.

Best of Luck to you all.

Nice to hear the word PRIORITY!!!!!!!!!!

  9. i feel pretty safe to say that all of us that got transferred have gone to Texas...and im also pretty sure that this is a very good thing...they moved us so they can process us quicker to keep on task in Vermont...

Dont feel so bad about this...there are many people here in the same boat and we are all very hopeful that we will be approved within the month.

I changed my service center to texas and my dates have moved closer, approval between june 13 and july 7.

    THINK POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!

  10. I stand corrected my timeline shows earlier... What does this mean ... Why has it changed earlier ???

    Processing

Estimates/Stats : Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between May 29, 2013 and June 22, 2013*.

If this date range has passed or your application is past due per USCIS processing times then you should consider calling the USCIS to inquire on your petition. If you have been approved please update your timeline.

Im thinking that you are going to be one of the first ones approved, be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, i can't imagine what my reaction will be when we actually get approved, im so excited about this, and its not even approved yet!!

  11. if your fiance didn't have an A# before and has one now if I'm not mistaken (I don't want to get peoples hopes up cause thats been happening a lot the past few weeks hopefully someone can either confirm this or say im wrong) but an A# usually means approval cant be far behind...

That's what i was thinking...and no he didn't have an alien reg. # before...

Changed my timeline and now i am at june13 to july 7, 2013 for approval...

My stomach is just in knots over this, i hope we all get approvals soon...
