Initial Review
On May 29, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Do the field offices need training too??? I wonder........
Do the field offices need training too??? I wonder........
But, in reality, of the cases that were transferred, how many total are going to go to each field office? Maybe a handful, more or less?
I just hope that this is a good thing.

Everyone got the same email....all went to local offices now...what a confusing thing...there is another thread started on the "local office" emails.

I just hope that means that the local office will approve it immediately...anyone have any ideas on this or know what happens at the local level in immigration?? are they more strict or lenient when it comes to RFE or approval?
My heart was besting fast when i saw the date change on the USCIS site, i was thinking is this our approval!!!
It would be really nice if we all got approved very quickly. Good luck to us all!!

God help us all through this...

Thanks Jay-Kay...i knew there had to be some sort of catch somewhere in the system...not optimistic at all about this transfer now.
-
You are right Bigdog...i think everyone here has gotten just about all different answers from immigration...i guess we just have to sit back and wait---AGAIN.

-
Im not feeling so optimistic now about this transfer...
-
I also wonder if these new trained agents will be more strict and give more RFE's...
-
I just called USCIS and spoke to a woman who told me that she does not know where my case was sent....and that they are processing october 23, 2102 cases now...i just want this to be over with, it is very frustrating.

My question is, after looking at Igor's list for Texas, why do they need trained when according to Igor's list there are lots of 129F's already there and have been approved???
-
The email says the same thing as the notice on the website...
-
Yes, i too became very anxious when i saw a change on the USCIC site showing todays date and there was a change...I hope that we all have good news from this "transfer".

Hi Everyone! I have been a member for a long time, but just since December 2012 have I been following Visa Journey, as i finally submitted our petition after 8 years! I also received the same message this morning saying that our case was being transferred(Dec 28 NOA1). Im really hoping that this means that we will get an approval sooner than later...
Has anyone found out any more info on why this happened to just a handful of us here in VJ?
This is my first post in a very long time, it's good to be back and know we all have support in this journey!!
Good luck to all,
Carol
