It will get there. I always suggest to use a courier service when sending these payments to the lockbox. That way you can track your money, and there is insurance if they happen to lose your mail. Putting a first class stamp on it and putting it in the mail is not very safe. Maybe for paying your cable bill but not for your visa. This is just my opinion...I'm hungry, bye.

a copy of your transcripts works perfect, that is what I used, and I sent copies not the originals. No problems.

You can get stuff without a social security number in America...I promise I am not making this up. It's through experience. What would you like that you can't get without a SSN? I will help you find the process in getting it no matter what state your from or going to.

I was in the same situation, but I changed my address with USICS and filled out the AR-11. I was glad I did, at the interview the officer asked for a copy of the AR-11 I sent in. No problems though.

The uscis rep gave you the correct information. And yes, mark the box as other and specify K1, then write the exp date. Simple as that.

I would like to hear from the OP. This is a very hot topic, but it's just a lot of opinions.

Shocking...another incompetent USCIS employee.

If we don't have a ssn obviously we don't have an insurance or nothing like it.

These are my first thoughs:

1.- Pics.

2.- Cell phones.

3.- Letter from my friends (Notarized).

4.- My wife own her multi-family house so I'd bring my tenant's lease with my name and hers as a landlord.

Maybe you guys got some other ideas?

How did you get a cell phone without a SSN? Prepaid I am assuming? Looks like it worked just the opposite in our case. We could easily get insurance without a SSN, along with a driving license, bank accounts, sign on a mortgage. The one thing we couldn't do is get a Cell Phone unless it was prepaid service.

I'm sure someone else will answer this more clearly, but I do believe it means that they will be able to approve or deny your case without an interview.
