Its a sad event, but it can be a blessing in disguise. I did such a good follow up to the RFE I got on the K1 I filed, that my now wife flew through the interview. I think I was in a fog during the entire filing process. So much depended on these papers, I was so excited, I was so worried, its like my mind was constantly bouncing around. I thought I had it down perfect, but the RFE told me I made some mistakes. I really took my time and was very careful with the RFE. My now wife was all excited and wondering when I'd send the response. I told her I wouldn't rush it, something I think I did with the original petition, I super organised and explained exactly every thing I include in my response. When I returned the RFE I had total confidence, and six days later we had the NOA2.

RFE:((((((( i am so sad.. i thought i sent everything they asked me....

i think they just making up the date and month they are working on so when people call them to put a service request they can tell them that they are still within a processing time!! that's just my opinion

i got a question to people who called USCIS about their case.. they are saying they are approving july filers... did anybody ask them how come like 5-10% of august approved already.. whats their answer??

Hey same here... it's almost our 5th month anniversary... nothing to celebrate though but still worth to mention.

I will wait another week or so and start bothering VSC.

Well VSC is showing 5.2 months still....unfortunately I think as we all hit our 4 month point we still have another month to go before anything will happen

I'm trying to keep my expectations low and maybe be pleasantly surprised! Reeeeaalllyyy want to be living together in the US in May cant wait to hear of the first September NOA2!!!!!

We're trying to be optimistic and keeping our fingers crossed that maybe ... just maybe ... we might even scrape onto the end of January ... now wouldn't that would be amazing!!!

Boy, this is so depressing to read and I am an August filer. The word "waiting" has taken an altogether new meaning for me. I hope I just dont turn into a patient waiting patiently for my petition to be perused and permitted .

I'm a July 17th filer and haven't heard anything yet. They haven't forgot about august. You're still way in your time line.

yeh i know.. but i mean they approve couple people in every month exept august!!

if you look at Percent of I-129F's approved @VSC by months - they approved a lot of june filers, some july september october.. but look at august!!!! , feels like they don't care about august filers!
