Hey everyone,

My fiance and I just received an RFE. I was planning on visiting him for the summer, and then returning for my interview. We had a wedding date in July, but we are just going to have a party with everyone and get married when everything goes through. How long do you think it will be before I need to go back to Canada? I know things are taking a lot longer than usual, but I still want to be sure that I can make it to the party in July and also be back in time to do my medical exam and interview.

Also, is it possible to my medical exam in Toronto before I receive my NOA2?

i was planing to do my wedding in july also! but i dont think it will happen!! we are pretty close on NOA1 date!! and still no NOA2

Hello everyone

I got NOA1 at August 21,2012.There is error on my fiancee birth date, so i call them to correct that. They tell me gonna send another NOA1 to me at October but they didn't. Late on, i call USCIS at this year and check how is my case. They said:"we corrected the error for you, still want another NOA1 hard copy?" I said no,and i am waiting my NOA2 so sad.

they send me two email when i got my RFE!! so i called them to see if i got two RFEs but the lady said that first date you have means they updated your status that you got RFE and the second date means they actually sent a hard copy of RFE!

when i sent my RFE to VSC i didn't see an update that they received my RFE! and its been a week so i called them just to see if they got it, i waited for an hour just to hear from a lady call us back in 30 days and we will be able to tell you if we have your RFE... really??? you cant tell me now you if you got it.. she said no!! call back in 30 days!!

i am august 24th filer.. sent my RFE april 2nd and still waiting...

i am more worried about if they received my FRE or not since they didn't update status that they received

i have been waiting exactly a week since i sent my FRE.. usually they update status right after they receive it...

hello everyone!! i got a question.. i asked some people if their status was updated after USCIS received their RFE and all of them said yes... are there people who sent FRE and didn't get status updated and then were approved????

Not sure if this is the correct place, but since my fiance is from Ukraine thought it would be a good start. She is questioning which "medications" she can bring with her from Ukraine. I understand that there is not a strict control of substances AND also understand through others that these may include "home grown" types of remedies.

Does anyone have experience with this? Maybe brining in medications. I thought I read somewhere a post where someone said that every time he and his wife return to Ukraine.. They bring back her "home grown" remedies..

when i visited ukraine last year i brought a lot! it is small so i put all my medications inside my cloth and i was fine!! didn't have any problems

it's been 200 days so far, still no NOA2, But I have a feeling that before that they might send us an RFE in the initial I 129F package we sent, we did not include any letter of intent to marry. would my fiance have to write the letter, sign it and send it to me? or can he fax it to me? any other faster way we could do it?

I got RFE on that!! so i sent him email letter of intent and his printed signed and sent it to me thru mail!! it needs to be original signature! no fax

I did it all on one letter, my fiance did too and a supporting statement from both my parents and his mom. A bit over the top!

Kind of makes me worry I went a bit overboard on mine. I did a huge A4 page of a heartfelt letter explaining our relationship, how we met and how I proposed, everything and confirmed at the end that I love my fiance more than the world and intend to marry him within the 90 day timeframe.

i wrote a little leater too how we met how he proposed me but it was on a different piece of paper from letter of intent!

did you write a letter just in english or in russian too?
