Hello Everyone,
First of all, congratulations to everyone who receive case complete today!! What a great way to start the weekend.
Secondly, allow me to join the celebration because I also just received my CASE COMPLETE for both my wife and daughter!!!! :joy:
Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank you guys for the support and the fun in this forum. Thank you to our dear fairy Saylin for writing such a wonderful NVC guide that taught me all the tricks. Thank you also to Kaylara and BOS_LHR for your guidance in the June I-130 forum. Thank you Changnoi for your support and your jokes. And everyone else who unknowingly helped me, because all of my questions were already answered by others who shared their experiences in here.
If you allow me, I would love to continue paying it forward as many of you already do.
So happy right now!!!
congratulations I'm so happy for you.

So today, 4/25 I called again and I was told that my case is still under review.... and I'm like .
so this is my little note to the NVC.
NVC please you can take all the time you want with my case but I only ask one thing; please give us a June interview, please?
And I promise I won't call you and bother you -
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have waited for over a year to say this!!! I literally just screamed and did a cartwheel at work!
CASE COMPLETE!!!!!!!
I emailed on Wednesday and put it to the attention of the DR and requested an immediate review of both cases for their #######-up of the civil documents. I don't know if it did anything but they case completed both parents yesterday! Jenny gave me the good news and I may have deafened her if any of y'all talk to her today
Yaaaaay!!!!! Congratulations!!! Now you can breath easily.

Tried to call the nvc to check the status they said that they did not got any of my document. But when i track it said that it was delivered already
Sorry for the delay. call and talk to a supervisor...
I guess you will need to resend them if they dont find it eventually

the current processing time for I-130 is 8months and then once approved, another 5months at the NVC before interview

Alright folks, I think the NVC is currently working on mails scanned into their system on the 9th of April. my packet was scanned into their system on 4/14 So from the look of things, I can deduce that we will receive case complete somewhere next week. I hope I get a June interview though.

KayG how do you know you can't get medicals In Ghana until you pick up packet 3 ? Just Curious
I've heard you will not be allowed to get do the medicals until you have the letter. Now this is what the other GH members who have gone through the process are saying. But like everything you will need to verify for yourself and come to a conclusion. I hope this helps.

charley join the NVC thread the current month is April, there you will find more information on the NVC process then you can possibly imagine.
And if you are able to follow Saylin's instructions religiously, you will fasttrack your case through the NVC stage.
For your convenience I've added the link to that thread here

Welcome Tout Bon Net and mrs m
Can I add you to our spreadsheet? or you can do it yourself, you will find the link to it in my signature.
If you want to get ready for next stage, which is NVC, go here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/472916-nvc-filers-january-2014/?hl=%2Bnvc+%2Bjanuary and read first two posts , especially read into What is needed in the AOS package? and What is needed in the IV package?
I guess there you can find something you might start getting to prep.
and here is the link to the newest nvc filers thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/488577-nvc-filers-april-2014/ .
Hello ! how are you ? where are you in your process ? as I remember you got approved in January , are you done with NVC ?

Hey guys - After submitting my DS-261 I got an email and this was mentioned "If the applicant plans to adjust status with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, please tell us before paying any fees or taking further action."
what does that mean?
They want to first find out from you if your spouse is already in the united states and if so you should rather apply to adjust status as oppose to applying for a visa.

Case completed this morning... 2 wks and half a day for them to review the IV checklist.. They're taking longer than they were a few wks back.. Good luck to all!
congratulations on your case complete
I'm so happy for you.

I feel your pain. I've submitted this form 1 month ago, but still not available to pai IV fee. Operators told me to wait for 30 business days, they have to review this form
Mine was being delayed the same way so I called one fine afternoon and told the lady that my packet is not yet review and that my work mate whose petition was processed at a later date has had his reviewed. Then I asked her whether there was something wrong.... She told me no and that I should give it more time. Low and behold I was allowed to pay and submit packet IV the next day.

Case complete today! 4/22
Gus (the nice guy at the NVC) broke the news
wow congratulations.... I happy for you.
I know the more case complete there are the closer I get to the finish line (win win for all)
please this song is dedicated to us all who are waiting... Enjoy.

I have been meaning to ask you...how did you blend the Ghana and US flags together....in your photo .......it is beautiful ...
I got it from the internet.... thanks
-
I have been calling NVC and checking email for the interview date..
I don't think my feet have touched the ground since " Case Complete "
My wife's roots run very deep in her home country both family and
spiritually so lifting her from the soil of Thailand and transplanting
her to the USA fully intact has become my focus and has required
a level of sensitivity to her family there that I had not imagined
I can imagine. I can't wait for that day when I too get a case complete.
Right now I've started conscientizing the family of the eventual move... that way even though they know that day is coming, it will still not come as a shock to anyone.

Changnoi,
have you gotten your interview date? And how does it feel to have case complete, knowing that the journey is almost over
