From the Saylin's spreadsheet, it is averaging two months to get from case complete to interview.
One of the members from GH got a case complete last week or so, and was scheduled for May interview. Also I've heard interviews are scheduled at the end of each month and first week of the next month.

26 days gone still not get case number ?
But I know will get case number soon ? I mean within 2 or 3 days.
You will get it in no time but in the mean time, you have to use this opportunity to start getting your documents together for the next phase.

I've realised that the matrix ITA site is good. Thanks for the input

This is my first time posting on Visa Journey, although I have certainly received great information over the past year through this long process. My wife got approved for a conditional expedite (meaning they would expedite the case once all documents had been received) on March 26th and our case was complete on April 10. It appears the embassy has received our case as of yesterday since our visa status is now READY. However, since we were expedited we do not have an interview date yet. My questions are 1) Should I be calling the embassy to schedule the interview, or will they contact us? 2) Since we were granted an expedite by the embassy for the NVC, will we receive an expedited interview or do I need to re-apply for an expedited interview? Should I be "living" on ustraveldocs to schedule the interview ourselves. I appreciate any and all comments
I think you will want to contact the NVC first.

Well, until I get a case complete, I have made up my mind to call at 7pm everyday. Why? I'm thinking if there is any update, it would have reflected in the system.
-
Yes it was the same for me. I knew inside already that it had happened.
Congratulations.....take this moment in the sun and enjoy it.
I danced around the house to a couple of my favorite tunes for at least an hour.....
I can imagine you dancing hahahaha... you've earned it Changnoi so dance your hearts out

There's no word I can express my happiness right now! I really had this gut feeling so I called the NVC, and I can't believe I heard the word "CASE COMPLETE"! Wohoooo!!! I'm sick right now but I felt so much better hearing that good news! Thank you dear Lord God!
Congratulations!!! I can only imagine your joy and I hope you feel better soon

I had no idea what was inside me....when the NVC operator told me Case Complete the tears did not stop flowing for 10 minutes.......
Changnoi, was it not just yesterday I was wishing you get case complete? and now see!!! And I know once you have a case complete, I will follow suit in a week.

Congratulations to all those you have Case complete!!!! And like I've always said, the more case complete there are the more time and attention the NVC can dedicate to my case. By this, I will also get a case complete
This will be a win win for everyone right? -
guy, does anyone one of you know where I could find cheap flights??? I've check Kayak and Travelocity but the prices are killing me
-
I'm still waiting....since March 19th....more then 3 weeks
I understand your anxiety but I waited two months and four days I got a case number.... my point? have some patience. The NVC is bogged down with a lot of cases.
when they invoice your bill, things will start moving pretty quickly

I could not bring myself to deprive you of the heart pounding fun of going line by line
I will call NVC tomorrow....hoping for CC......
Up Changnoi! once you have a CC, I know I will be next in line cause you are a week ahead of me.

Don't worry your head over this...
Just request a new letter from your new employer and give it to your fiance to send it to the embassy during her interview. -
the good folks at the NVC finally acknowledge receipt of my IV documents into their system.
We are soldiering on to case complete. I pray I don't get a checklist.
-
Congrats mate and please don't forget to write a review of your experience at the embassy

I guess I am just feeling down and sorry for myself today so please bear with me. We got an approval from USCIS on March 27 and I have been calling NVC and they said it wont get entered into their system until May 16th. I know all cases are different but I see people who got approved after us and have already been entered in the system and already paying the fees. I just don't understand.
The ways of the NVC are misterious and no one can possibly decipher it, (unless may be Saylin can ). So all I can tell you is have patience and eventually, you will get your case number.
PS: It took me two months and four days before I got a case nubmer.

Haha, omg, me too! I always loved back to school shopping! I weirdly miss it!
And those pictures were from the day we got married (You can't tell in those specific photos, but we wore World of Warcraft shirts to our "wedding" [we got married in a courtroom with just his mom and grandma present]) Thanks though
And we're settling in our new apartment quite nicely. Just unpacked a bunch more this afternoon actually. We can now get into our third bedroom finally! (It used to just be a bunch of boxes placed haphazardly everywhere).
I can relate to the unpacking part. I recently moved to a new place and its taking me ages to unpack those boxes.

While you are there could you kindly stamp "case complete" on my packets.
They will be easy to spot. They have the expedite fee clipped on top
hahahahahaha now you got me laughing my lungs out... expedite fee don't I just love our sense of humor. I didn't know we can actually do that, I bet everybody would have willingly requested for an expedite and paid the fee.

I simply can't wait for the NVC to acknowledge receipt of and also review my IV packet.
I will gladly volunteer my time to the NVC just to scan my own documents into their system

I for one, we did not want to send the entire album so I made extra copies of some picture of the pictures and I attached it. In all it was around 80 individual pictures

I got my case # and IIN assigned April 11th.
I am able to log-in into the ceac web site but I can't do match.
It tells me that NVC is not ready to process the case yet.
this is the message I get:
"Please be advised that the case you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National visa center if you believe that you received this message in error"
Now, should I be concerned? or should I wait until Monday before calling them?I
I will suggest you read post one, This will help you alot.

Congrats... wow you've been waiting for case complete for a while.
I hope I don't get a check list... for I have submitted everything they've asked of us and even more.
