Nope. If you're the beneficiary, you don't have to fill out an I-864, so it's only your spouse's finances they'll take into account, along with whatever cosponsor you choose to include.

I am sure she is aware of what happens at the NVC stage as I told her. But I also told her how to do the I-130 correctly, so go figure. It's funny because she does keep saying "I don't know why they denied us the last time. What's wrong with us?"... when in fact she DOES know - it is because she filed the wrong form over a YEAR earlier. Yikes.

They will review what you sent in and assuming all is good will approve the I-130. There is no guarantee on time frame, but good news is they are working on it! I got an RFE for my birth certificate not being legible enough. They approved our case about a week and a half after I sent in what they requested... so the long waiting is nearing an end... youhave the light at the end of your tunnel!

The would have included a list of items in the message. We can't help you to know what is in your own list. Was there not a list attached?

You have to wait for the letter to come in first and then follow instructions

Well until you get the letter in mail its hard to say. Let's find out some things
1. What evidence of bonafide marriage did u send in?
2. Are you asking us about text messages and what to submit? Did you submit a log of text messages. If not that helps than select one or two per month throughout the course of ur relationship. Before marriage, during and ongoing.
This is a good time to add whatever else evidence you may have forgotten.
But you need to wait for that letter.

That's ok. I got my NOA1 on Nov 26, but USCIS updated my status on their site just yesterday. I guess they're waiting to see if the world ends today or not. LOL...

The hard copy is not important it doesn't really matter if you receive it as long as you got the receipt number. The person who filed the I-130 will receive the hard copy in the states.

Just be patient....

yes thats normal for xmas holidays,if you don't receive it by next week, call them, did you file G-1145 along with the 1-130,then you would get an E.MAIL. that it was received.be patient.

Call until after the holidays to get your NOA1.

It means they got it and they cashed the money and they will work on it when they work on it.

The receipt number u received from where??...I thought that is NOA1...In which indicate the receipt number.

This happens somethimes. Give it until after the holidays and then call and ask for NOA1 if you didn't get it by then.

You just said here you received the receipt number, that is the NOA1

All you can do is wait. But while waiting these months you might as well get ready for the next stage the NVC so when you get approved you will have everything at the ready.

You have to wait a few weeks for the information to be uploaded. It look my case at least a month until I was able to see anything online.
