When I got my visa approved on the 19 of Dec 2012 I got mine on the 5th Jan 2013 that was because of the holiday. But I had to go to the address they gave me after the interview to get my visa. Unless things have changed they do not send you email or update about the visa, during the interview if they approve your visa they will give you a note with an address and date to go get your visa. So I don't know why you are waiting for it.

Is this a k1 visa? or AOS?
i knew a couple with 25 years old age difference and they got approved with their k1
they are married now and that couple is me and my wife

Wow guys first of let me say Thank you to the Lord God that made it all possible without him i would not be writting this review
And also to all the VJ members that have been with me through my K1 visa process, i got more good news for you i got my AOS approved today
I had interview at 10:30 am today me and my beautiful wife arrived about 45 mins ealier so we walked in got signed in and we were asked to wait that someone was going to call our name and take us in for the interview, so we sat down and waited for about 40 mins, there were so many people there today, while waiting my name was called so i walked towards the door and it was a white lady i said thank God i wanted a woman to be the one doing the interview lol
Ok before i continue, i had read so much about this AOS i got really scared well i dont know but mine was very easy even much more easier than my k1 visa interview in Nigeria, i cant stop smilling as am writting this review now i got a really Big smile on my face oh and my wife just brought me a drink and gave me a kiss lol sweet aint it? yes we got to rest from uscis for a while ahahahahaha
ok now i continue so we walked in her office she stood us up and swore us in
then the interview began
She asked for my passport and id i gave her
she now went through my file and was asking questions to make sure all was correct including my dob ssn and all that after a very long line of questions that i have to answer yes or no lol all my answers was No by the way am clean hahahaha very good right?
so she asked how we met
asked me my wives DOB then she asked my wife what i do for fun
and also asked me the same thing
so she then asked for any document i have that shows us having something in our name i gavce her all i had
by the way i had sent in everything they requested while i was filling for this AOS i even sent more than what was asked me. I got that idea from VJ it is better to be overprepared than not to be prepared although i did send in some pictures while filling for the AOS i also brought about 100 more photos she did not even loook lol
I just got a kiss from my wife lol while typing this hehehehehe dream come true
ok so she explained that the card would arrive in ***************** ok am done talking the bottom line is i got my AOS approved hurray
ADVICE: For all those that are in this process or about to get in this process
1. we did not go with a lawyer we did this ourselve a lawyer will cost you alot of money and will not gurrantee your approval
2. dont be scared by other peoples failure be multivated by other peoples success
3. Pray to your God
4. Be honest
5. Good luck
6. you can ask questions if you are not sure there are so many people here on vj that have the right answer for free

Its seems to me that we got alot of comedians in VJ lol some of your comments keeps cracking me up
anyway enough joke
someone here told me that her age difference is two times more than mine
if you knew what people were telling me about age differences before i started you would have told me to stop but i did not give
i got approved in just 15 mins of interview right now am in my AOS proccess and have an interview next month
what am trying to say is that it is possible
but dont get mad when people here suggest something for you
ask more questions
get to know your man more his past present and future

i know so many people on this VISA JOURNEY SITE are feeling the same way am feeling about their partner while you wait i just wanna say hang in there pray love each other dont ever get tired of talking on phone or on chat this is the secret of our success we spend hours on skype video calls we fall alseep on skype and wake up on skype the longest skype call i had with my beautiful angel was for 22 hours none stop i know you wonder what were we talking about lol
it was awesome the fact that we woke up together and fall alseep together watching ourselve eat and do other stuff
this love will never die
everyday i pray to God almighty to keep my love for me
today is my ANNIVERSARY and i just wanted to share
we started off as friends
then best friends
then lovers
then engaged
and soon will be married

Well Good thing you found out this early.
my questions for you are
1. have you ever visited him?
2. are you sure this real gf as u say is not trying to set him up?
3. you said you caught him re handed but the only red handed you caught him was someone sending you chat history
NOTE: someone can forge a text and send to you what they want you to read did she send you the screen short? ( even a screen short can be edited) did you log in his account to spy? or did this girl gave you her password to spy on him? to make sure it is him? because someone might open a facebook with same name and create chat history they want you to read even your fiance not knowing about it.
you have to be 100% sure because even this evidence you got is not enough yes i know things like this happens but my reasons of this comment is if some where along the line after you have cancealed this petition and you found out he was being set up by someone and he actually did nothing you will hate yourself so Nekki no hurry in making decisions investigate more because you can canceal this anytime even on the day of his interview am just looking both side here i watch alot of movies like this were what you see is not really what it seems like
(i know i got some spellings wrong thats because i was typing fast

I had 90 percent of help on here although we had paid a lawyer at the beginning of my journey on february 6th but she was not helpful all my questions were not answered it took me 7 months to get my petition approved after that time for interview that was when i could no more help it she could not answer simple questions and she dont pick her calls i needed help i searched on google thats how i found out about Visa Journey and all my questions were being answered in weeks i got date for my interview with help through My VJ members I Love VJ and i cant wait to start my adjustment of status after my wedding
For those that dont know yet my visa was approved thanks to GOD ALMIGHTY and help from VISAJOURNEY you guys were helpful

I printed out over 300 pages of facebook chat 200 pages of call records over 25 pages of yahoo chats 8 skype video chat 2
pages of whatsapp chat ( i use a blackberry so i saved the screen for whats app) i got Tax return for past 3 years, etc.
Now the important part
one day before my interview i went out i got 2 pen blue and black i decided i was gonna give out the blue one and use the black one for myself which i did seating at
the gate waiting for my appointment time to be called a man came to beg for money i gave him N200 before i did i prayed with the money for a sec so when my
interview time was called i went in with my document submitted my appointment letter and visa payment then i was give a paper to fill and a smal card i went tru
security twice got my number and waited for more than one hour before i was called i submitted everything they asked and the lady told me to wait for my number to be
called again for ,my interview i sat down waiting while waiting this white lady resumed she then called her first number and she gave the visa in seconds i
started praying for mine lol ok so i prayed at everyone that got approved then this other black guy resumed then he called the first person and gave the visa i did not see him deny anyone i started praying for him to interview me too lol so he called a number it was a old lady she got there he told her to raise her right hand up she did not understand she was going through her document thinking he asked her for it then i walked up to her and told here what to do the guy interviewing said thank you lol i felt well if this guy interviews me now he is definately gonna give me this visa i waited for my number and waited and waited then another old lady came the seat was full i stood up for her then she sat down this guy interviewing noticed this after the next person he was interviweing he called my number i rushed to the counter and the Battle began

ME: yes sir
he gave me my ds156k to sign i did he asked me to thumb print i did and he said "PERFECT" this is what others do for 5 mins i did it in 10 sedonds
then the questions
HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
i answered one answere led to another question about how we met
he then asked me how we communicate
i told him then i gave him text books lol of chat records and phone records plus skype yahoo and whatsapp what he actually looked at well was the chat history i have with my fiancee daughter the rest he just glanced through them he did not read lol then he check just 5 to 8 pages of my 200 phone record pages
he then asked for Pictures i gave him
this is where things became tensed he took the pictures to the other white lady then he came back and took my phone records and facebook history to her i just placed my head on the counter and said if i dont get this i will just faint here lol
then he came back and continued asking questions
WHY DO YOU WANT TO GET MARRIED IN THE STATE?
WHEN IS THE WEDDING?
DO YOU REALISE THEN AGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU TWO?
after all this he gave me back my pictures and my facebook history with calls
YOUR VISA IS APPROVED
PICK IT UP HERE ON SO SO DATE
ME: THANK YOU SIR
I TURNED AROUND IMMEDIATELY I DID NOT WAIT THERE TO ARRANGE MY BAG I JUST PACKED THEM AS I TURNED I LOOKED UP WITH BOTH HANDS UP AND SAID THANK YOU JESUS
AS I WALKED TEARS OF JOY DROPPED FROM MY EYES I CLEANED IT I FELT LIKE CRYING I FELT LIKE JUMPING BUT I KEPT MY COOL WALKED OUT AND CALLED HER ON THE PHONE VISA APPROVED
Now all i expected to be asked was not asked everything i studied i was not asked about for all the people making this interview look hard stop, it was the easiest thing i have ever done in my life as long as your love is genuine you know what to say with any question asked make sure all your documents are complete if you have 50,000 facebook messages print as much as possible they wont go through it all they will glance but its of your own advantage to do so print all phone records it helped my case do not lie or you will end up lying to cover up a lie and you will be denied be truthfull and pray
