Yet another day and don't see any of US from VJ's with interview date. Wait is killer..

Well they are just creating confusion in everyone's mind. NVC is in mess due to AOS fiasco and they are delaying things at every stage, so I believe they are just sending out RFE's, in some cases it dosnt even make sense at all. People got case close and after 3 weeks again they are receiving new case complete date. There are cases where person signed with blue ink and was asked to send it again. its been 3 for him and no case complete yet. People were asked to send documents which they have already provided. So I believe 2 to 3 weeks for them to review RFE's and yet not sure if they will close the case and won't come up with another gimmick.

There are not many people filing from abroad and you can figured it out in current i130 thread

oh don't tell me they are not taking cases from 13-23. Now whole flood of interviews will push into Aug and that will delay everything yet again. non immigrants and K1 is given preference over spouse visa.

yes yesterday we got the good news from them after calling tht our case is complete,but that happiness was short lived..

today morning we got another RFE of that same 864 form, but it says to bring those during the interview and when the date for intrvw is set they will notify us.

its so wierd.. y did they not mention it during the first RFE and said our case is complete yesterday?when today they had anothr RFE from tht same form.

Everything seems weird now a days with NVC. I am not sure what they are up to but certainly creating lots of confusion in everyone's mind. I hope they get everything running smooth again. AOS fiasco led all mess and they had no idea how to handle it in professional manner.

You are lucky that they are letting you take 864 to interview and you do not have to wait additional 3 to 4 weeks like others. Here some had new CC after 3 weeks of receiving first CC.

I hope we get interview date soon

Ok my hubby called today and supervisor said that becuz we sent the bc , they had to review it again and that made a new CC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now the funny thing is that I just received an email with checklist subject and my heart droped Like crazyyyyyyyyyyy ! I open it and it says all the same checklist stuff bla bla bla . And at the bottom of the letter where they usually tell you what they need it says : we have received all the nessesary documents and your file will be send to the us embassy as soon as an interview date is available for you !!!!!!!!!!!!

Okkkkkkk now I really think something is not working right in NVC !!!!!!! They are playing with my mind and heart !!!!! I hope I can survive this !!!

Sorry to hear that. NVC is gone mad, issuing new CC often and that without any legit reason. They are just looking for delaying things. Since last month, if you see, many people are checklist for no real reason. Some officers at NVC are getting arrogant, angry and lazy. I hate to call them but have no option. Not a single person on VJ received interview date this month. They are playing with everyone's mind and they don't care about heart, so no point even mentioning that.

Yes you can get approved if you have joint sponsor.

Yes, everything seems pushed back cuze of AOS. I hope they get this done soon. lots of people are waiting and after so long bumpy journey, it is hard for us to even wait for a day. Can't wait to hear that magic date. Good Luck everyone..

Called and yet no news. keep telling me that they are in process for setting up interviews and they will be setting up dates in coming 2 weeks. Common NVC... hurry

Hi guys

My wife was told she was approved on the day of her interview

But i called the dos today and was told she is under administrative processing

She had her interview on july 3 at the us consulate in islamabad

She was also given an american express address close to her house to pick up her passpord in 1 week

I am really confused

Well if you see the status it will say AP but it usually changes after 24 to 48 hours. It may take day or two. DOS will tell you it is in AP because they are yet to get detail from consulate.

I am not sure about Pakistan but for India, it takes few days for passport to get delivered and in between it shows AP.

Don't stress yourself, give a day or two and it will appear "ISSUE"

My Visa Interview was today ...

I went in at 1:30 pm. I went out at 2:00 pm.

I went in with my passport. I went out without my passport!

We got APPROVED. Yayyyyyyyyy!!!

Hey after receiving ur Noa2..how long after ur case was transferred to NVC? I was approved July 1....I called NVC they said it can upto 8weeks?

Got transfer next day. Approved on 10th(Friday) received by NVC on 13th(Monday). Usually takes time but not sure why it was forwarded same day. I replied RFE on 9th and got approved on 10th so kinda lucky I guess. I haven't come across a case here on VJ where it got approved so fast after replying RFE. I hope yours get through NVC fast. We are expecting our CC by 9th or 10th July. Hoping to get August interview..

Was there a reason why you were unable to get a PCC? I'm working on the AOS / IV packet and just going through the list...Did you ( i meant your spouse) have any trouble getting a PCC in India? What type of documentation did you provide in lieu of PCC

I wanted to get PCC after NOA2 and in Gujarat they need documents from NVC which specifically mention PCC which can come at later stage and that can delay whole process, so initially they declined to issue PCC but then after few try we were successful.
