They just told me it was transferred to the National Benefit Center. When I go online it just says:
Initial Review
The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
:/ So I'm not sure why it's taking so long. Many people filed after me and have gotten accepted. I think I am just very unlucky!
They do not always tell truth. You need to call USCIS, talk to Tier2 officer and ask specific questions regarding transfer. Based on above notice which says "USCIS office", I suspect that it is at Local field office. You should call couple of times and talk to Tier2 to get best answer. First time when I called they told me my file is still at NBC but after a week I called again and found out that it was transferred in JAN to local field office.

I just got approved so far for the NOA1, which just means they received the I-130 application and everything was there. The actual approval is the NOA2, which I haven't gotten yet
I sent it in on August 18th and it was accepted (that everything was there) on August 22nd, now Iv'e been waiting 7 months and a week and counting.
I did sent in an e-request after 6 months though and they said they will notify me of a decision by April 26th at the latest! So we will see!
Do you know if your case was transfer to Local office?

Did you call and confirm that they have received your RFE reply?

I still don't see my case online. Called USCIS and spoke with a Tier 2 rep. The rep would not inform me where my application was but did mention since i am from NJ my case will get transferred to Newark. I have also sent an email but no response as yet.
Question to the forumn - If Newark is processing Nov/Dec applications, are these which Newark FO received in Nov/Dec or are these applications filed with USCIS in Nov/Dec.
Ok here is dedicated Newark Transfer post please vote and join Post Aug 15 Newark Transfer
Applications which are actually transferred in Nov/Dec irrespective of their priority date.

Good Evening,
I just wanted to know what is the next process, and how long should we expect for all of this is over. Apparently our I130 for my wife was approved back in January, but our immigration office where we started all of this didn't notify neither of us. I had acknowledged that our I130 had been approved but I was still waiting for that letter to come home.
I have read a lot of horror stories of representatives screwing up petitions, just want to have a general idea of what's next so I wouldn't be blindsided when push comes to shove. Thank you for reading my post. Any help would help.
Please fill your timeline so that people can help you.
I am sorry to hear that you have been waiting since JAN. Did you go to your Local office and find out what happened to your NOA2? Also is your wife here or abroad?

he told me it was transferred jan 30th
I c.. You should visit your Local office. Here find ... Tampa Field Office.
-
I called the uscis today and was informed that my case has been routed to the tampa field office, is that a good thing or a bad thing????, and I was told that I might get a notice for interview but also may not, well how are the field offices and how is the tampa field office???? I mean do they take longer or normal or they are slow and might wait more than 5 months????? I mean what do I expect at this point???
Did you ask them when it was transfer? It all depends on your field office work load. Nothing unusual, most of the cases post Aug 15 getting transfer to Local field offices. You need to get an info pass appointment and visit your Local office to find out if they have your file.
-
NikiR just curious, did they send your to a local office and if so did they inform you with an email or text, snail mail?
Thanks NikiR
I never got any online update text or email on my case transfer. So, to find your answer, you really have to call USCIS, speak to T2 officer, ask relevant question. You may have to call couple of times to get right answer.

I'm literarily shaking as I can't beleive this stroke of good luck.
I feel for those that are still waiting and who were in line before us but this is also my second go at bat as we had a K1 denial before.
Onto the NVC stages.
May we all be rejoined with our loved ones as soon as possible In Sha Allah.
Congratulations

We just received noa1 in October 1st week since then my status is initial review not changed yet
.... I thought of creating a timeline but then there is not much info I can provide
I c.. You should call USCIS, talk to Tier 2 officer and specifically asked if your case is currently at Local office. Post Aug 15 cases are being transferred to Local offices but we do not get any update or notified on transfer. Have you call USCIS? If your Lawyer is not responding then you should FIRE him right away.
-
May God help us ..... how is everyone doing ?
Not well as waiting and waiting and more waiting .... How about u?

My hubby too hired a lawyer and filed for my cr1 visa in september hopefully it got approved in october but since then there's no news n that lawyer who charged a huge sum is not even responding to our calls n emails it's already 6 months n we still didn't receive our noa2 n that lawyer is least bothered .. Lawyers only charge huge amounts n file for the visa but nothing else . :@
Was your case approved or still pending? please update your timeline

I am just trying to find some reason why USCIS is acting this way honestly
i am considering having a lawyer i would be getting some sort of feedback
Lawyer will only delay your case, and believe me even if you hire expert immigration lawyers, benefit is little. I think you will be better off without lawyer. From my family we paid about 7500 for 3 cases and now we are thinking about firing lawyer as he delayed our cases and never provided that vital information. It is hard to put every point here but in short NEVER tRUSt them and do it your self.

Files submitted on October 12th
Files with letters from my husband's parents, grand mother and his best friend to prove that we both are in a serious relationship.
USCIS received my files on October 13th
USCIS mailed my husband a NOA1 on October 15th
USCIS approved my files on March 22nd
The case status is Post Decision Activity
Waiting for NOA2 to be arrived..
Finally!
To be patient worth it. My husband who is a petitioner didn't have a info pass interview or any other evidences to send to USCIS. My husband who is a petitioner lives in Nebraska and our case number was sent to MSC. And I'm Japanese citizen currently living in Tokyo.
Hope all of you get approved as soon as possible! We were about to make an appointment for the info-pass interview tomorrow on the 28th. Sooooo stoked!!!
Congratulations

Sad you had to wait long, but enjoy your approval and get ready for NVC... I am sure many people on NVC post will help you to get through.. so get out from here.. LOL
It will surely give some hope to NYC filers...
