  1. We just have our NOA2 - woo hoo - after almost 9 months and are finishing up what paperwork we need for the next stage.

    I have a bit of a concern about printing out the evidence of our continuing relationship. For the last year, we have called each other 'husband' and 'wife' in all our e-mails. We are not married but we feel like we are. I have heard that if the embassy suspect that we may be married, we will be denied as my fiance has petitioned for the K1. We have lots of other evidence of our continuing relationship since filing - I will have spent a total of 8 months in the US between filing and the interview. Should I focus on that and the Skype logs of our video chats? I don't think I will be able to find a single e-mail between us that doesn't say husband/wife.

    Had I realized earlier that this might be a potential hazard, we would have thought twice about calling each other 'husband' and 'wife'.

    :dance::dance::dance:Congratulations! :dance::dance::dance:

  2. So tonight, I didn't get a text (yet), however, my Skype tone started going nuts as I was taking a nap, and somehow I knew, jumped up, saw it was my fiancee calling, went to USCIS and sure enough, NOA2, no RFEs!!!! Thank God, and here's hoping all of you in the black hole still waiting see your NOA2s very soon!!!

    Yay! Congrats, sis! Another from September. We got our approval today as well. God is good! CSC is kicking these days. My prayers to those who are still waiting. :)

  3. Congratulations to you, sis!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: Sooo happy for you!!! :star: :star: :star:

    We also got a notification today but it says "Alien Registration Number Changed". I'm a bit nervous coz it might be that they are asking for an RFE :blink:...hopefully it will mean an approval the soonest...TO GOD BE THE GLORY!:)

    Sis, I'm pretty sure your approval will be SOON. You are in my prayers. Continue to be blessed and thank you. :)

  4. This morning I checked my case's status....and finally, after 8 months (NOA1 08/20/2012) my I129F has been approved.

    Your Current Case Status for Form I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

    On April 19, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

    For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. Congratulations! :dance:

  5. We're just a few days apart with our NOA1 (September 12). 3 numbers ahead of mine for I-129F, 2 of which were approved last April 17 while the number prior to mine is still in Initial Review. We did not seek any help from a politician too. Hang in there, it will come soon :)

    Same here, sis. September filer and still under initial review. :)

  6. Hi Everyone,

    I know I am not the only one here who has not received there NOA2. I filed my k-1 on sep 14. I have been told since Jan. that I need to wait two more months. They finally told me that in may I can do an e-request. I have gotten so fed up that I have contacted my senator and they have told us that they have emailed USCIS and that that is all they can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I call USCIS 3 times a week to just be annoying, I have called the lady from the senators office that is working our case and she is no helping. I am starting to wondering if the reason this is taking so long is b/c my fiance is from Turkey? Has anyone from Turkey had this problem? Does anyone have some helpful suggestions as to what I can do to speed this up?

    Thank you and good luck to everyone!

    Just be patient. You're not alone here because we too have waited for 7 months+, fiance filed the petition last September earlier than you guys. It has nothing to do with your fiance's country. Maybe soon you'll get your approval as CSC is working well now from July-October K1 filers. Hang in there. :)
