  1. QUESTION: I SENT MY PETITION TO THE EXPRESS MAIL AND COURIER LOCKBOX ADDRESS BY ACCIDENT. MY PACKET WAS PROCESSED BY THE USPS AND SENT CERTIFIED. JUST WONDERING IF THE PACKET WILL BE SENT BACK TO ME? SINCE ITS TOO LATE TO STOP THE POST OFFICE FROM SENDING IT TO THE CORRECT ADDRESS, OR WILL THEY SEND IT TO THE APPROPRIATE DALLAS LOCKBOX FOR ME? SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR TOO EXCITED! LOL! Thanks in Advance you guys :-)~bubblz

Hi! I think it will be send back to you if delivered in inappropriate address. Don't worry. :)

  2. Hello Im Ben, I'm sending in papers tomorrow for bringing my gf over

How much wieght do they consider if shes 37 years younger

I know what your thinking but we've been together for a year and a half

and I've been there 3 times to see her

I did read about a canada guy who was turned down same age as me by a year

he made news in august on the net, how I found about it

    thanks, I'm american she's fillpina

    Ben

According to the 'most' testimonies that I've heard with a 'large' age gap, it really doesn't matter.

If you guys met the requirements of a genuine relationship and are both legible for this petition, it should be okay.

Such case is very 'common' here in Philippines. :)

God bless you both and your visa journey!

  3. 1. Don't wait for the Embassy to send you a letter because it's a waste of time waiting for it. Sometimes they don't send it.

    2. You can read the Embassy letter here.

    3. Instead of waiting for the letter, call the National Visa Center (NVC) and get your MNL case number.

    4. Then, pay the visa application fee at BPI.

    5. Next, schedule your Embassy interview.

    6. A week or two before your interview, complete your medical at St. Lukes.

Hi, sis. Is it possible for a K1 applicant to go for medical WITHOUT paying the visa and no interview appointment letter?

  4. Detected or not I do not remember that this is on the list of "communicable diseases" that is on their list of concerns. They took HIV off last year as I recall - I don't think that you should worry

Hi, what about hives or acute urticaria? I've suffered this severe allergy for more than 6 weeks already so my dermatologist said it's an acute urticaria. I can't eat certain foods such as shrimp, nuts, milk, egg and etc because my skin break out very badly.

Would it be a problem during my medical exam? For my visa? :( Too worry now. :'(

  5. Hi, VJ friends!

I saw one post yesterday about this matter but couldn't find it now. :( Anyway, on that post, the OP asked if it will create a mess during the interview when your U.S. citizen fiancee/fiance sent you money or cash gifts sometimes? Or lets say, support you financially? I've heard that the Embassy will mostly consider it as scamming and will result to visa denial.

I don't quite understand why other call it scamming. Because I think it's pretty normal for long distance couple.

    Any experience about this?

Thanks for the answers! God bless us all. :)

  6. Hi! God bless with your journey soon. :) Well, most of us here did the process on our own without the help of the lawyer. As long as you know every step that you'll gonna do, all the necessary supporting documents that will prove that the relationship is genuine, your capability to support your fiance when he arrives in the US, and there's no red flag, EVERYTHING will be okay.

God bless and more power! :)

  7. Hey, I have been wondering about the same thing. (I think our timelines are quite similar) From what I see on VJ timelines....nothing is happening at CSC...standstill. :( I have decided to stop checking because it is getting a bit depressing. I shall check again after New Year's (even I do not believe that I can hold out till then as I am typing it haha).

    Good luck !!!

Nothing is happening at CSC? Not even moved a bit? :( It saddened me the fact that I can't celebrate holiday with my love, would be more depressing if I can't be with him on his birthday (January) or at least on Valentines.

Hehehe! Nothing we can do but wait. God bless your journey as well! :)

  8. A little embarrassed, and messed up for a while, just getting over it.

Married my k1 fiance after a week. I thought she was intelligent enough to be patient and we could each learn our ways and stay married til interview time.

Luck would have it, my father got sick, died, and I was a little upset. A couple of times I snapped at her. She was acting strange. Not letting me touch her, hug her, things like that. I had a feeling she was intentionally trying to piss me off. The night my father died, I confronted her with this, and she began to cry, I never saw someone cry that much for a 38 year old! I am 55.

She went to stay at my moms house 2 weeks. I kept coming there asking, begging, crying for her to come back. She said she had friends in a Philippino neighborhood near us, and I said, go. I can't take it anymore, I'm having heart attacks seeing her here, and sleeping alone, knowing she may be crying at my mothers house.

So, my sister comes back after driving her, my sis says, she went to the BAYANIHAN COMMUNITY CENTER

40-21 69th Street, Woodside, NY 11377 She lied, no friend.

I heard though someone she called that they got her to go the police and report abuse. She has been there 2 months, and they won't answer the phone, won't answer my emails. She does not answer her phone or texts. Just like that after 5 years of supporting her and her son with xoom. She treats me like I'm dead.

I love her to death and would do anything to get her back. But the police said if she went there, she went because its a place where abused women go, and I cannot contact her.

Now heres the clincher, her friend told me they have immigration lawyers there that will get her her green card anyway. No one has contacted me to find out if her charges are real!!!!!! Any Philipino woman can do this, and I hope they do, and this place gets busted for visa fraud. Its dangerous too to allow anyone a green card these days. I don't think she is all there now if she can do this so coldly. I am 50% certain she planned it. I would take her back anyway. The interview isn't for a few months.

Sorry for the long story, but I thought you should know, it can happen to you. This girl just was not a good listener, and refused to talk at length without getting angry herself.

I was told by my therapist which I needed for my suicidal thoughts afterwards, not to go the infopass route, don't make waves. I sent a certified letter to the USCIS that I sent the 485 to. Now I figure, just wait, I won't get a divorce cause I want her to keep the medical benefits from job and texted that to her that she can still use the cards. Divorce in the future though.

I still trust Philippina girls, and in a few years may retire there and marry again after dating.

So, what do you suggest I do. Nothing?

I feel so sorry for you, friend. But I think it's time to move on. Seems that this woman never loved you, it was just her scheme to be able to migrate there in USA. I can't believe someone could do that, trap other for their own good. I'm a Filipina myself and I don't tolerate this behavior, too childish. I hope she will realize soon what she lost. If she's not insane enough, she will apologize to you. Not easy but move on.

    God bless you.

  9. Hi! Would it be a problem if I add some 'specific' information on the DS-156? I answered all information using the computer but there's one question that needs specific answer such as, 'when do you intend to arrive in the US'? I would like to put 'As soon after I receive my visa' as an answer but I would use a pen to add it since it requires specific dates when you fill it up using the computer.

    Is it okay?

    Thanks and God bless!

  10. okay, thank you for your response. Yes I already have my passport.

Another question, do I need to have a letter of consent from my either father/mother that they are aware about me/us

getting married?? I am turning 23 years old on April 2013.

No. But you will need one for your CFO and have it notarized by a lawyer and signed by your mother and father.

They required letter of consent from parents if the applicant is below 25 years old.

That's what I've heard in facebook at least. :)

  11. Pleasant day to all,

My fiance (US citizen)( I'm a Philippines Citizen). haven't yet send the application for petition.

But then he told me to secure my NBI clearance and Certificate of Singleness. I already have my nbi clearance

    (released on December 3,2012) scanned

it and email it to Him. I/we are still waiting for my Cert of singleness to be released next week.

Just want to know if what other documents for me to take care off earlier/ in advance?? for me to

    get ready in case....

It's better to be prepared than

    rushing, right??

Thank you and highly appreciate any inputs. :) God bless all.

Hi! I-129F doesn't need your NBI and Certificate of Singleness. You will need these during your interview.

The papers that you need to send him for the petition are:

    G-325A dated and signed

2 passport photo with white background

Intent to Marry letter dated and signed

Photocopy of your passport if you have already

    God bless! :)

  12. I filed the I-129F with the California service center in July 2 2012 and my case / status has not changed since that date. I am past the 5 month window that is stated on the website. I've called 30 days ago and was told "Everything is fine and it should be approved before the 5 months". I called again today and was told that they are processing Jun 2012 yet and no other info for my case.

Sorry all - I just need reassurance or direction, I miss my fiancé and want her here with me so much!

She is Pinay, she's never been married. I have been and I am divorced. I work in the medical field and my background is squeaky clean.

Hi! Give it a few more days. Your NOA2 should arrive soon. :) God bless!

  13. Hello, VJ friends! So we're currently waiting still for our NOA2 to come. But my fiance told me tonight that he will be looking for another apartment, he will not buy a new house until my visa is approve and I arrive there.

My question is, should we call the USCIS about this if he got a new apartment and new address while we are still waiting for our NOA2?

Would it be a problem?:(

Thanks for the replies! God bless.
