Visa Journey keeps sending me emails that they haven't heard from me in a while.. would I like to update our case status? I would love too! HOWEVER, it's still a waiting game at this point. On March 10, 2017, USCIS received our Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident. We go through the Vermont Service Center, and as of today (10/22/17) they are processing I-751 forms dated from 10/03/16... So the best we can hope for right now is that we will hear something from USCIS around the beginning of the new year.

I came to United States as British citizen with visa waiver, I got married to my wife here in February 2013 then went back to the UK, I came back in June to live permanently with my wife, we have no kids yet but we are trying to have children together, I have applied for the I-130 and got a receipt of acknowledgement. What i don't understand in the 3 years rules of acquiring a citizen is Must you be married to your US spouse for a period of 3 years to file or Wait 90 days to your 3 years of being a legal permanent resident of the united states?any update on this topic will be appreciated
