I'm with newlyweds2010. He didn't say anything wrong. He even mentioned you guys might have some real problems ahead. Then you were all rude.
If you're gonna post spotty, cryptic, posts about your fiancé, and his drug usage, or non-drug usage, or whether he smoked as a teen, and/or smoked on a guys trip...... you should expect comments like his, and mine.
I realize that the whole story is a precursor to your actual question, but I'm sure we could have done with out all the personal info on your hubby. TMI. Then you'd receive less trolling comments.
P.s. This isn't a therapy website, but I hope you get the help you're looking for in regards to your actually question. As I can offer no assistance in that. As for your hubby.... Tell him to drink plenty of water with lemon. Should help clean him out days before the big test, just incase he goes on another guys trip. Good luck!!

I paid my flight yesterday and once I have my visa on hand they want me to tell them only the visa number as they need to include it in the reservation othwerwise I may have problems when departing to the USA - that is what they have informed me. But as far as I know this is not mandatory.

While its not advised to buy airfare until visa is in your hand it is not mandatory when buying your ticket in the USa or online. However some Philippine travel agents in the Phil have special deals with airlines for visa holders and will need visa before selling tickets. With that said I gambled and bought my fiances ticket before having visa in hand because her flight plans were 6 weeks after approval and I felt tge risk if not getting visa by then was low. I booked with cheapoair.com and already registered and got etickets directly off the airlines website. At no time was I ever asked for visa.

is there really a need to attack a person who is here asking for advice? Seriously? If you have nothing better to do with your time and energy I suggest you leave this site. There are people from every country in the world here, and if you expect everyone's English to be perfect you have a serious problem. This is a site for people who need help with the immigration process, not a site to belittle people. Get a life!

Hershey's cheap?? When I think of American chocolate I think of Hershey's. If I send or bring chocolate it will be Hershey's and Hershey's only. Hershey's is delicious.
Now excuse me while I check to see how my Hershey's stock is doing. Seriously though, Hershey's only for chocolate.

Remember regarding sweatshirts and hoodies, you're going somewhere the average yearly temperature is in the 90s
American branded things, T-Shirts are very popular, except they can buy them there (counterfeit, but they don't care) for a dollar.
Chocolate a big hit. Except they are going to melt everywhere, so be careful.
They will appreciate the gesture whatever you bring. Bring cheap things for the kids. I brought a bunch of cheap glow bracelets, they were a big hit. But mostly you'll win the hearts of the kids with a few pesos for them to go buy some candy.

I am so sorry about your marriage, When i first met my husband i didn't know how much he would earn a year not until i got here in the US, and we do the joint account.
Because before we got engage we talked about our plan, our dreams and goal in life, besides we love each other so much, but of-course we want to be sure we have the same goal, plan and goals in life, that is why we got married... For me i don't care what we have how much money we earn a year, what matter is we love each other and we are content...
    Good-luck

Im sorry to hear your story. I am a Filipina myself, and my fiancee in USA only makes $20,000 a year, and has no degree but i do respect him and love him with all my heart, and when i get there, I can even work my #### off for both of us and he can stay home if he wants. because he had done so much for me, financially and emotionally.
Not all filipinas are like the one you married. Im sure you'll find the right one and marry again
i just really don't understand why one person would do such thing.
    Good luck on your journey.

Wow. Sorry to hear about your predicament. You cando it again. I did. I was married to Filipina for over 10 years and we had a daughter together and she started wrking and running with a particular crowd and also wanted to be rich. So we divorced - good bye and good ridence! While we were married still and she was seeing someone else, I was also coresponding and chatting with my current wife. I filed for 129f about 2 months after I had the divorce decree in my hands. My current wife has been here from the Phils for 10 months now.
A littel confused about your post. Its probably just the way I'm reading it but:
    - You said your wife "she would not work or could not work because of the baby." then you said " so she quit her p/t job to go to school full time and that put us in bankruptcy" - was that because she quit her part time job or because of the free nursing education?
    - Also you said "She found out RN's make a lot of money so she applied for and got free education to become a nurse " - How did she get free nursing school with you working and making above poverty line income?
    - You said "Now with all the welfare she gets, all the money I have to give her " - You mean she gets welfare - like means tested assistance? I hope not because you may have to pay that back because of the I-864 you signed. And also you guys are not divorced yet so why is she getting money from you? Is there a court ordered Child Support and Alimony signed by the judge? Or is it some kind of separation agreement?
Sorry, just trying to understand. It may be time to no longer be concerned about what her and this guy are doing and what they will do and make, etc. Except where your child is concerned. As far as your soon to be ex- dump that and be only concerned with your child. What kind of custody or visitation do you have?
It will hurt for awhile but you will get over it and realize that the best thing to come out of that marriage was your child. And in time you will care less and less and less about your ex and what she is doing. Unfortunately, she will always be somewhat in the picture because of your child. You're not the only one in that boat.
God bless you in this situation.

I usually don't offer my personal opinions on here since everyone has one you know. But I agree with your comment about the commodity. The post struck me the same way. I am trying to be patient waiting for my NOA2, and looking forward to my financee being here and marrying. But I think we all should realize Filipinas are people with hearts, souls, minds, feelings, families etc. and should offer our love and support if we are fortunate enough to find that special someone who is willing to leave their homes and lives and move to a foreign country. I feel sorry for the OP that his situation turned out to be less than ideal, but IMO, just "get another one", seems very condesending and sounds as though this could be an item for purchase rather than a fellow human being. Ok I've said my peace and hope the OP is able to find a positive resolution for an unfortunate situation.

Interesting wording...like a commodity? I should imagine looking for 'another one' should be the furthest thing from your mind right now.

So my fiancee had her interview at the USEM in Manila today. Final result: Approved!! Yehey!!
The interview actually lasted about 2-4 mins. However.... she was there for a couple hours waiting for her number to be called.
Here's the 5 questions that were asked...
    1. How many times did I visit her?
    2. If I was married before?
    3. Do I have any children?
    4. What do I do for work?
    5. Has she ever been abroad before?
That's it?!?! We studied so many questions, and that's it?! Grrrr! I guess less is better anyways.
After the questions, the Lady interviewer smiled, and said "You're approved."
Thank you to everyone who helped out with our questions about forms, and the whole process.
I know for a fact without this site, and without your guys help, this would have been much more difficult. Thank you a million times over!

Lots of things to do around your place.
    1. Walk around and get to know your neighborhood.
    2. Learn how to use the local bus transportation
    3. Look for the local library. Philadelphia has lots of good libraries. Newspapers, magazines, DVDs, music are free to borrow
    4. Find a local job..paid or voluntary
    5. Start reading the driver's manual to get your license
    6. There has to be a Filipino community organization around. See if you fit in their organization (Ilocano, Visaya, Tagalog, etc.)
    7. Learn how to prepare American food
Do not: Look for a boyfriend. A big no no. Lots of predators looking for lonely and depressed wives here in the USA. Don't be fooled by over friendly people.

Nodozz reacted to Bumbero in Any chance that I have HIV/AIDS?
    That's a tough situation
I'm not trying to add to your concern but it's not just HIV that you have to worry about. 200 women is quite a few. I would go to the physician and ask for a FULL STD work up. While HIV is a big concern, it's actually the hardest to contract. You need Hep B and C testing as well. Also the full spectrum of STDs, Ghonorrea, Chlamydia, Syphilis and Herpes. Some of these viruses can go undetected in males for a long time, so he might not even know he's carrying anything.
I recommend you educate yourself, not to the point of scaring yourself to death, but to be informed on this situation. GET TESTED and that will give you peace of mind.
    Good luck

You should really stop making excuses for your husband and just accept the fact that he is a marijuana user. I work in a detox center and I no that if it was in his urine that he used within 3 days of testing.
