  1. I know this probably has nothing to do with anything but I wonder if the method of how we all arranged our packet has anything to do with when/ how approvals or denials are being given.

I am really afraid of that too... :( My fiance is "rebellious" when it comes to paperwork, documents etc. Ad he was the one who put the package together and sent it :( I am really eaiting for a RFE, just not a denial, please...

Congratulations to those who got approved!

  2. I tell people we hit milestones daily in our relationship that normally takes several months to get to in a normal relationship.

This is a fun topic while we await NOA2s

I know what you mean here. We also made quick decisions and big steps, which my family didn't like... but this is how it is with long distance relationships. You have to think and act fast to see if things work out or not.. But fortunately they did, for all of us :)

  3. You may laugh... But I was a lifeguard at his community pool... I had been checking him out for about a month before he asked me out haha :) I cannot believe that after I returned home I had e is definitely the love of my life.. We love each other more and more as days pass by... The distance made our relationship a lot stronger... As to the wedding plans... We did not plan anything, as you can see it is impossible with the USCIS. All we know is that we weill have our religious ceremony next year or in two years, so I can bring my parents to the US...

  4. I read on the Bureau of Consular Affairs website where it said:

    http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html#7

K visa applicants are encouraged to get the vaccinations required under U.S. immigration law for immigrant visa applicants. Although such vaccinations are not required for K visa issuance, they will be required when adjusting status to that of legal permanent resident following your marriage. Applicants are therefore encouraged to fulfill these vaccination requirements at the time of the medical examination. See Vaccination Requirements for IV Applicants for the list of required vaccinations and additional information.

So that means K visa applicants can choose not to take any shot at medical exam, and can fulfill that later on in the US......but some people said they need to have vaccinations before they are granted a visa which confused me.

I read the same thing 5 minutes ago :) I think it is safer to take them in your country, as long as they accept it in the US... I don't know what to do anymore. I'll just follow their requirements..

  5. Thank you Mr Smiley, and Rong and David :)

My fiance had an appointment in INS like a month ago. They told him they cold do something if VSC claimed that they were working on March 1st or later... but then they were saying Jan 16, now it's Feb 27... We will just wait... I think I've already faced up with the fact that we may not make it until Christmas.. Unless something moves next week or in early October..

Have a great Sunday everyone, while VSC emploees chill with their spouses..

  6. I haven't been on here in a couple of days, but congratulations to all who have received an approval! And keep going for those who are still waiting! They will get to you soon!

We are still in the midst of trying to get the mess sorted out that the NVC has created by entering a wrong birth date for my fiancé into their system. We have called several times, sent an e-mail, tried to get an expedite based on USCIS error... nothing. They're not even giving us any info on our case. I really don't wish it to anyone to have to go through this, because it feels like after all this stress worrying about NOA2, the mental stress goes on worrying about our case at the NVC and at what stage it is right now.

PS: Congrats Kaaha on your degree!

Thank you so much! And I am speechless... I cannot believe this happened to you. Are they serious? How can they treat you like that?

  7. I do not think even the Feb filers had so many 200 club members. VSC is getting so bad. Next week is our week, guys! I hope you all are getting more sleep than I am. Try to enjoy the weekend and keep hope in your hearts my friends!!

I am definitely taking too much sleep :) So I don't think about all the mess concerning our visas. Another week passed... It is funny how we dislike weekends now :) haha...

  8. Wow... I haven't checked VJ today as I spend the whole day at the university and you posted and posted and posted :P 3 new pages! I've just finished reading... Soo... Almost no change today? :( Congratulations to those who got approved!

I spoke to my friend at school... and she said "Maybe they do it according to a petitioner's last name??" But I don't think that's the case, right?... I'm just making up new scenarios to understand the whole process...

  9. Oh, there is plenty! We went to Miami and NYC... And when he came to Europe in the summer, we took a Eurotrip :) Paris was beautiful, even though it was raining all the time! :) But what really makes me smile, is seeing him at the airport. I don't have a tourist visa so I can't go to see him. But he came to Poland twice... and you know, just the feeling of having him back after a few months... it's so relieving...
