Probably this is what happened..
-
@Tigerflower - thank you for the encouragement but I'm just paranoid. Only negative thoughts come to my mind. Keping my fingers crossed for all of you
-
In all honesty, if that happened, I would just get married and file an I-130. Those seem to get approved much faster. And who knows? Might get sent to CSC instead.
That's what we planned to do if anything went wrong
-
I swear I would just die if they rejected it now - after 6 months.
-
February is at 50 on the chart
-
Yes, he told me the same thing: it's not past the normal processing time. I told him their site said 5 months, and he gave me some generic answer. I could tell he was reading off of a card. If I had called in a foul mood, I probably would have given him a piece of my mind and asked for a tier 2, requested a service request, and gotten nowhere all the same.
He did read exactly the same thing that the uscis website gives you. I already know it by heart haha
He said something about service request but in our case we can do it after the the Sep 1.

I called, and was told they are working on Feb 6. I've also written my congressman, for all the good it will do, I might call each day during my lunch break... Make a habit of it haha
It made me call myself and the guy said they don't know what date a particular center is working on... sooo... they were just making it up with Jan 16th and now Feb ???
oh and that our case is not past the normal processing time ;/

If we get approved NOA2 in 2 weeks... and then later VISA approved... is it safe to say we can probably finally enter the US before Thanksgiving????
I think so, it takes around 2 months after noa2, right?
-
hahah my fiance is singing "All I want for Christmas is you" on Skype... I hope he's gonna get it sooner
-
Nooo... we think too much... We need to chill
-
I got a heart attack when I read about this case from 2007, the petition got rejected because they put N/A in "Signature of person preparing the form if toher than above"... And it should be left blank... I think we put N/A...
But actually, I checked it a second ago and you cant type anything in the box "siganture"... hmm....
-
Honestly... I don't think there is any chronology in that... I have no idea how they work.
-
I really hope we get our NOA2 approved before end of Aug.....
that would be perfect

March VSC people! Great news, I just called and they said they are working on March right now.
That's great! Thank you!

Day 172 here :/ I really hope to hear anything this week. Just not "rejected" please...
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!
-
Oh no! This looks terrible!
-
When you check your case status on USCIS website there is an option "Sign up for case updates" on the left and after you create an account you'll see the "Last updated" box
-
ohhh... I'm so silly... I thought mine was the 3rd of July and it seemed weird to me. I'm used to the European format of date and I understood it wrong despite the fact that I know it's an American one... haha... I should probably go to sleep now
-
@tin-jen.... I'm kidding
I'm just fed up with waiting! And when I read that the bar was supposed to go all the way up to 100 - it left me speachless!
One question guys, when was the last time that your case has been updated?
-
uhh the list of CSC looks soooo nice...
-
ooops... just noticed, i meant 50, not 100...
50 sounds better
I got a heart attack when I read your post
-
My fiancé will contact his congressman and Senator as soon as we're over the five months + 30 days mark since NOA1 on September 07.
We've considered it too... You think it's worth contacting a Congressman?

Today I saw someone with NOA1 March-06 got approved, but when I clicked to see their timeline it shows they sent their petition in Feb-01, so I doubt their NOA1 is Feb-06 and not March-06, could it be that they unknowingly edited the wrong date of their NOA1, if this true then their timeline gives us false hope.
oh noooo
-
I can understand them wanting everything done correctly; that needs to be done right. But to let them sit there obviously for two months and have no explanation for those who are waiting longer than others... especially with CSC shaming them...that is inexcusable.
If they are behind, just say so. Telling us they are working on Jan 15th when clearly we can see it's a lie is just dumb.
That's the funniest part. I see you know the story about Jan 16th as well
My fiance called them a month ago and they told him they were working on Janu 16th, yesterday they told him the same! Igor's list says something else, doesn't it?!
Well let's just wait. As someone here said the first approved case is a milestone for us
March (2012) filers...

I'm sorry... I made my typical mistake again. I read the date "American way" :/ I'm really sorry..
