I've been following the thread but this is my first post. I just finished my interview and my status already changed to Oath Ceremony will be scheduled.

Yes, she got her tourist visa in 2013. She applied before I had my K1 visa interview, so she just said she was going to Disney.

GC approved on March 9th

Mailed March 15rh

Received today, March 16rh

No news for me as well - 8/3/15

Hope we will hear the good news soon.

I haven't heard anything till today. I think I will wait till mid of March. If I don't get any info till that time, I will call. Is that good idea?

My NOA1 is 08/03. It's frustrating to see that most of August approval had NOA1 after me and I didn't hear anything yet.

For your own sake if not for ROC evidence, create your wills and medical powers of attorney.

We will create Medical POA. However I want to mail my package on the 1st day of the 90 day window. So I won't have time to add it.

Note that July 30 is actually 91 days before October 29.

How about copies of your passport and your USC spouse's birth certificate (if born USC) or naturalization certificate(if naturalized USC)?

I added a copy of our passport together with the passport pages with the stamps.

Your evidence list looks great!

I would consider crafting wills, powers of attorney, HIPAA releases, etc. I would also omit (or at least decrease the number of) photos, cards, and magazines.

Thank you! I got 4 magazines (2 for each) and just the front page with the name and address. Same with the cards like 3 or 4.

My conditional GC will expire next 10/29. I checked and I can mail my package on July 30th.

Below is what I have for now. Do you guys think I need anything else?

- I-751 form

- Copy of GC

- Copy of my DL

- Copy of my husband DL

- IRS transcript 2013/2014

- ALL statements since we open our Joint Savings account

- My checking account statement (every 3 months since I open)

- My husband checking account statement (every 3 months since we got married)

- ALL credit cards statements since he added me as authorized user

- Letter from ALL credit cards that I am his authorized user and he is my authorized user

- Copy of all credit cards we have together

- Copy of our rental lease in both of our names

- Letter from property management company saying we both leave together since 2013

- Copy of rental insurance policy and renewal in both of our names

- ATT bills since 2013 - we have a family plan

- Comcast bills since 2014 in both of our names

- Health and dental insurance policy saying I am his beneficiary

- Copy of health and dental cards

- Life insurance policy saying I am his beneficiary

Took me 1 month after receive the GC to receive the job offer. Same field/industry and level as my previous job overseas.

The same thing happened to us--it's been 3 weeks and we're still waiting.

I am entering in the second week =(

I went there, but the guy said that cannot verify my id... said that USCIS didn't update my maiden name to married name... what is so strange because i filled everything with my married name, my gc is in my married name.... i think she messed up because my middle name is too long and didn't fit. Now I need to wait up to 4 weeks to receive a new SS (as she kept my old one) and If I don't received I need to call them to check what happened. =(

Wow! 3 hours is a long time. Do you have any other offices that are nearby and less busy. I know there are at least 2 in my area, and we never waited more than 20 minutesat either one.

I am going to update my SS tomorrow.

What documents should I have?

- Green Card

- Passport (Maiden Name)

- Marriage Certificate

- SS card

The embassy doesn't send letters in the mail for K1 visa. They just send e-mails.

After the interview you need to pay for the courier fee and then they will mail to you the passport and the envelope. My visa arrived just over 1 week from the interview in my house.

My GC arrived!!!

I received the tracking number for my GC. It says 2 days priority mail. Expected to be delivered today, but shows right that

Is it a regular paper or like green and official? Did you get it? I didn't get anything!

Is a normal paper, like the NOA1 or the Interview letter.

There said that you GC was approved, should expect receive in 3 weeks, that you must carry the GC all the time, etc etc etc.

I got it today.

My EAD will be delivered on Monday.

I hope they ship the GC on Monday too

Guys! What is welcome letter? I didn't get anything like that.

Is the letter from USCIS telling that you I485 was approved and you should receive the GC in 3 weeks.

I just received my welcome to USA letter in the mail today.

There says that we need to carry our green card all the time if we are over 18. I was thinking like to make a copy of the card and carry and keep the original safe at home. What you guys will do?

Just because it get stolen will be a pain to get a new one.
