I know that my interview was just on tuesday ... but i am get nervous because my welcome letter didn't arrive yet hahaha

Normally everything they sent me arrived in 2 days here....

My EAD/AP was mailed today. But I didn't receive any tracking number.

On November 1, 2013, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

My status for the green card updated again to Card/Production.

My EAD still in Card/Production since 29th , Do you guys think they will send it to me?

We were felling bad because she treated us like criminals...

But for 2 years we don't need to deal with them anymore!

Thanks! I went to Oakland, CA SS office and waited like 3 hours to get my SSN. I will try to go there to update as soon i receive the GC.

My experience was not that good.

She asked about everything she could ask. Checked the bank statements, rent lease, photos, pay stubs, phone bills, everything!! Every time she ask something and we answer she reacted like we were lying. In the end said the our case needed a further review and we should wait 120 days to receive an answer. But when we were leaving the office she said Take easy!

After 2 hours dying in tears, I received a msg telling that my case was update. We checked the status and was card on production.

I applied for my SSN right after I marry (I entered with K1 visa). Today I had my interview and my green card was approved.

Do I need to return to SS office and update my information? Can I do this online?

In my case she said I will receive an answer in 120 from today, but I already received the msg.

also my status was card and production, but then right now went back to decision. Is this normal?

Hi everybody!

I had my interview in SF office at this morning and received a letter telling that my case needs further review.

But now after 2 hours from the interview I just receive a text msg telling that my card is on production!

I was very relaxed about the interview, but now that the day is arriving I am getting so nervous! I already checked all documents like 50 times and still think I am missing something! I hope everything goes well!

I have exactly same situation. My interview is on tuesday. And my EAD was sent to production yesterday. You will not get it before your interview. When your officer ask you about EAD just tell him (or her) that it is in production but you didn't get it yet.

I will bring with me during the interview.

But when we receive it after the interview, do we need to return to them? Or can we keep it?

My interview is next tuesday and I will probably not receive the card before the interview.

Do I need to return the card in the interview? What if arrive after? Do I need to inform this to them next week?

I would recommend the following things as well:

Drivers License for both of you. This was the first thing the examiner asked us.

Ofcourse, the Interview notice.

Green Card/Naturalization certificate/BC of your spouse

Please do not forget the translations of any foreign language certificates.

Otherwise, I think you are good to go.

I don't have DL yet, I will bring my passport.

My husband is USC so I will bring the passport and the Birth Certificate.

I have the Translation for my birth certificate....

I don't know but I think I am missing something, maybe is just because i am too nervous.

Been in Request for Evidence Response Review for 9 days now Really hoping that the RFE doesn't delay my case by too long Looking at all your guys posts with similar timelines as me getting interview dates makes me wonder how long it will delay, anyone else had a RFE and know any time frames it might take? I don't think the RFE will delay your case. I received a RFE too and before I submit the documents they already scheduled my interview date.

My status right now is RFE response review but they already sent me the interview letter.

I just want my EAD asap because I am doing job interviews already.

On the letter they asked about I864 form.

Do you guys will bring it again? And the financial documents?

Here is the list of things I will bring to the interview.

- Some photos from after the interview to now

- Joint savings account (each of us have our on checking account)

- Joint rental lease

- Authorized user on his credit cards

- Dependent on his health/dental/vision insurance

- Statement from AT&T showing the family plan

- Letters that arrive at our home with both of names

- Joint home insurance

- wedding gift cards

- Airline tickets inside U.S

- Hotel confirmations

Also I am considering bring all financial documents again (not the forms).

I received my interview letter today! Oct 29 at San Francisco Office.

Today they received my RFE and changed the status back to RFE response review.

I think the interview still schedule or they you tell us that was cancelled. Anyway we will call later today to them and check if everything still the same. I hope so!

Just the the same - passports, birth certificates, financial documents, taxes together (we don`t have it), insurance together, bank account, lease for both names, photos, correspondence on your address and all these things.

I didn't receive the letter yet. They update my case yesterday. I think I will receive on Tuesday or Wednesday.

What documents the letter ask us to bring?

I was in rush to answer the RFE and forgot to make a copy of the package. =(

My husband has free healthcare from his job, but to include me he needs to pay an extra value. His company has 4 different types of plan and we choose an intermediate one, because I need to do an special exam each 6 months. He pays right now around $200/month for both of us (health care, dentist and vision). I think that is expensive, because in Brazil since I started to work I never paid health care, but $800 is crazy expensive!!!

That's a good thing though. Maybe the documents they need is not that important that they trust you'll send it to them without any problems. I think you shouldn't worry much. We all have to be positive in every way. Isn't this exciting? Hehehe. Good luck on your interview! :-)

Time to prepare for the interview.

We just don't have the pics of the wedding because we did it at courthouse ASAP. The wedding will be in Brazil next year, but we said the same at our k1 interview. The financial stuff we have everything (joint account, joint lease, dependent at health insurance, beneficiary at his life insurance, dependent in his credit card, family phone plan, etc)

Photos we have a lot of photos from after interview in Brazil to now. Also we will travel to Vegas right before the interview date(that's already planned).

I am so excited!!!

I have no idea how my status changed from RFE to testing/interview without they received my RFE.

But the good news is that my interview will be on 29th October !!!! I received the SMS/email today at 4:15am in California.
